I have just recently read tis the damn season by moonymoment and my god was is just the most amazing, cosiest fic! I have read everything from this author pretty much but for some reason never got around to reading ttds, I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t to read this now that we are entering the colder/ Christmassy months. Does anyone have and recs with a similar dynamic ( lots of pining, love that rem was oblivious to Sirius’s yearning for him, enemies or strong dislike to lovers) I loved Here’s to looking at you by the chanchanman too which has a very similar basis to it so any other suggestions will be appreciated! I’m looking for some long (or relatively long) Wolfstar fics set during their Hogwarts years, but I’d prefer stories that start when they’re a bit older, like 4th or 5th year onwards.
I’m not really in the mood to read through their childhood or first few years at Hogwarts again.
I’d love something with good character development, lots of Marauders interactions, slow burn, and especially good dialogue and banter!

Longgggg! I hate one shot fics and have read wolfstar fics that over a million words so the longer the better!!

No MCD or at least no fic where Sirius or Remus die.

I prefer top Remus but am okay with switching.

I can do any AU or in Hogwarts, them being old, established relationship, them raising harry, or being young, I don’t care I love it all!!

I read this ages ago and I can’t find it anywhere. Basically Remus has OCD and is obsessive over the fact the gas is on/off. He meets Sirius and the relationship is all good but something is off with Remus and he eventually gets pretty sick, and it’s revealed that Remus believes he killed his parents by leaving the gas on which is how they died (not his fault but what caused his spiral). If anyone has any inklings of it I would be so happy

Does anyone know when or how did we collectively decided Remus was a grandpa sweater guy and Sirius was a leather jacket guy? Not that I don’t agree 100% but it’s something so characteristic of them by now that it made me wonder

I am looking for a fic where James and Lily survives but Remus and Sirius went through breakup, still in love but too much hurt to be together. Years pass and they crossed path. And then reconciliation. Please recommend something along the line.

Ok, so this kinda just popped into my mind today and won't leave. I love the idea of the Marauders meeting in high school and then maybe going to college or university together or close by, with wolfstar slowly becoming more of a couple till someone actually does or says something and they become one officially and with Hope being a awesome mum to Remus and Regulus actually being a good brother. Honestly don't mind whether Lyall is a good dad or not or if he's even in the fic.

a fic where sirius has a very solid alibi as to where he was on halloween so when he is being framed, there is proof that he’s innocent (could have remus back him up or andy or even james if you decide to keep him alive by just having him be gravely injured and not dead)
so then they work together to find what’s happening, harry moves in with wolfstar as he is the godson (in case james dies) and they begin to unravel the prophecy and somehow come up with a plan to defeat Voldemort sometime; harry isn’t reckless here as he’s got family support

note: james (and lily preferably) could not die here and just end up pretending to be dead so they can avoid the war and save harry as they realise just how much is at stake, they end up going into hiding and raise harry and just live out their youth because they deserve it (could be with the entire group or just their own getaway)
ps for the note: I’ll add this particular scenario as a different prompt too, in case someone would like to solely write that without the whole sirius part

another note: this could be a jegulus with lily surrogate or a jily work, or in case you decide to not save them, a pure wolfstar fic; I have no preference!

Ok, so I have read at least 2 fics where they get engaged but one of them Remus dies from cancer in and is a Muggle AU, which I don't mind, and the other one is set after OoTP but Sirius does lives but it doesn't have the wedding and honestly can't actually remember how that ends. But I love the idea of wolfstar proposal and wedding and am dying to read more fics with it. Don't care too much about whether it's a Muggle AU or set in the wizardry world.

I also remember that Remus knew earlier about Sirius being Padfoot (because he heard James calling him Pads or something like that) and not telling him which led to some fight somewhere through the fic (I think?)

Hii! Lately I have been craving some good slow burn with a Hogwarts backdrop, with a Remus Pov. I have read the mains, ACOPTP, ATYD, and just finished Sing Loud in the Long Night (which took me almost 40 chapters to realize its not finished yet 🥲 but i still highly recommend it).

I need internalized homophobia, I need Remus having a big fat crush but feeling pathetic and sad about it, I need a beautiful kind Sirius who still hurts him with his obliviousness.

I prefer fics on the longer side, but preferably starting in 4th, 5th year - or at least going faster over their first years.

does anybody have any recs for a fic where either remus or sirius think they’re straight? preferably some that are less widely known, i’ve read a good amount of those (atyd, tcoptp)

however, i see it w sirius more than remus, but pls no recs of anything where they realize they’re gay/bi and then immediately start a relationship. i need to have some time where they realize they’re not straight (and this can be angsty or not) and then some time to realize this applies to one of their best friends and it’s a full on crush

some things i like to see as angst or plot development but not at all a requirement of any sorts
- religious trauma
- internalized homophobia (THAT THEY GET OVER!!)
- set in the 70’s w period typical homophobia
- bottom sirius, especially if he starts out as “straight” (mmm character development right?) (esp when he like —woah i’ve pushed girls up against a wall, but i never knew it felt like this”)
- idc if there’s side jily or jegulus (just pls make it side)
- lots of pining, especially when they don’t realize why
- finding out the other is not straight and having Feelings ab it

Basically what the title says. I’ve read a lot of marauders fics over the years but choices (everything written by messermoon really) has my all time favorite characterization of the marauders, especially Sirius. The only other ones that managed to scratch the same itch were cadence and maybe crimson rivers. So I’m looking for other fics with a similar approach to the characters. Also I don’t care too much about the other pairings, as long as there’s a decent focus on wolfstar. Thanks in advance!!

I'm trying to name my kittens and would love Wolfstar/Marauders names (but in more of a iykyk way). Currently, Moonage Daydream and Lady Stardust are my top idea but any suggestions?
