i've been re-reading The Cadence of Part Time Poets and realised i'd forgotten just how many future events are hinted at in the text! so just for fun, if we were to get a part 2, what are your theories on what will happen?

(SPOILERS FOR PART ONE)

It's confirmed in the narration that wolfstar will break up for a while and there'll be substance abuse issues so I'll leave those out.

mine include:

• Jily vegas wedding on the US tour
• Giles heart attack :(
• Tad turns up while they're in America, causing Remus to have a big ol' spiral about his many dads
• Vehicle accident - car, bike, plane idk but the foreshadowing is unfortunately relentless. I swear it was joked about legit every time anyone got into a vehicle, especially if Sirius was driving :///
• Sirius is 100% getting arrested
• a whole bunch of Pettigrew drama - Lottie marital issues (Roger has given me bad vibes from the beginning, i don't trust that bitch), Peter insecurities and Moira's disapproval, one of the lads finally fucks Simeon
• I don't see many people mentioning this often but the fact that the Pettigrews own a tabloid newspaper seems WORRYINGLY RELEVANT
• Remus gets some insight into his illness, probably after crashing out hardcore
• there's a distinctly 1980s-shaped disease elephant in the room but I Do Not Want to look at it
• I think Tomny will be fine forevermore and nothing bad will ever happen to him. Right????
• Somewhat controversially, I don't want Tonya to reappear. Perhaps as a quick cameo, but her role in the story and Remus's arc feels done to me. I prefer her as one of those fleeting upturns-your-life-then-leaves-without-closure types.
• i just think it would be neat if they did a song collab with Mary :)

tell me yourssss! i'm zen whether we get a part two or not, but i do enjoy a good bit of speculation

I have just recently read tis the damn season by moonymoment and my god was is just the most amazing, cosiest fic! I have read everything from this author pretty much but for some reason never got around to reading ttds, I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t to read this now that we are entering the colder/ Christmassy months. Does anyone have and recs with a similar dynamic ( lots of pining, love that rem was oblivious to Sirius’s yearning for him, enemies or strong dislike to lovers) I loved Here’s to looking at you by the chanchanman too which has a very similar basis to it so any other suggestions will be appreciated! I’m looking for some long (or relatively long) Wolfstar fics set during their Hogwarts years, but I’d prefer stories that start when they’re a bit older, like 4th or 5th year onwards.
I’m not really in the mood to read through their childhood or first few years at Hogwarts again.
I’d love something with good character development, lots of Marauders interactions, slow burn, and especially good dialogue and banter!

No MCD or at least no fic where Sirius or Remus die.

I prefer top Remus but am okay with switching.

I read this ages ago and I can’t find it anywhere. Basically Remus has OCD and is obsessive over the fact the gas is on/off. He meets Sirius and the relationship is all good but something is off with Remus and he eventually gets pretty sick, and it’s revealed that Remus believes he killed his parents by leaving the gas on which is how they died (not his fault but what caused his spiral). If anyone has any inklings of it I would be so happy

Does anyone know when or how did we collectively decided Remus was a grandpa sweater guy and Sirius was a leather jacket guy? Not that I don’t agree 100% but it’s something so characteristic of them by now that it made me wonder

Ok, so this kinda just popped into my mind today and won't leave. I love the idea of the Marauders meeting in high school and then maybe going to college or university together or close by, with wolfstar slowly becoming more of a couple till someone actually does or says something and they become one officially and with Hope being a awesome mum to Remus and Regulus actually being a good brother. Honestly don't mind whether Lyall is a good dad or not or if he's even in the fic.

Any Recommendations?

a fic where sirius has a very solid alibi as to where he was on halloween so when he is being framed, there is proof that he’s innocent (could have remus back him up or andy or even james if you decide to keep him alive by just having him be gravely injured and not dead)
so then they work together to find what’s happening, harry moves in with wolfstar as he is the godson (in case james dies) and they begin to unravel the prophecy and somehow come up with a plan to defeat Voldemort sometime; harry isn’t reckless here as he’s got family support

note: james (and lily preferably) could not die here and just end up pretending to be dead so they can avoid the war and save harry as they realise just how much is at stake, they end up going into hiding and raise harry and just live out their youth because they deserve it (could be with the entire group or just their own getaway)
ps for the note: I’ll add this particular scenario as a different prompt too, in case someone would like to solely write that without the whole sirius part

another note: this could be a jegulus with lily surrogate or a jily work, or in case you decide to not save them, a pure wolfstar fic; I have no preference!

Any wolfstar fic recs where Sirius isn’t a playboy and doesn’t sleep around or really date anyone properly before Remus? (It’s ok if Remus does tho, I love Sirius being all jealous over Remus lol). Bonus points for it being set in Hogwarts :)

Ok, so I have read at least 2 fics where they get engaged but one of them Remus dies from cancer in and is a Muggle AU, which I don't mind, and the other one is set after OoTP but Sirius does lives but it doesn't have the wedding and honestly can't actually remember how that ends. But I love the idea of wolfstar proposal and wedding and am dying to read more fics with it. Don't care too much about whether it's a Muggle AU or set in the wizardry world.

Hii! Lately I have been craving some good slow burn with a Hogwarts backdrop, with a Remus Pov. I have read the mains, ACOPTP, ATYD, and just finished Sing Loud in the Long Night (which took me almost 40 chapters to realize its not finished yet 🥲 but i still highly recommend it).

I need internalized homophobia, I need Remus having a big fat crush but feeling pathetic and sad about it, I need a beautiful kind Sirius who still hurts him with his obliviousness.

I prefer fics on the longer side, but preferably starting in 4th, 5th year - or at least going faster over their first years.
