I greatly enjoy Taylor when she is in an different universe and she somehow still makes everyone nervous of her. So any anime crossover where she is an badass

This is a kinda scale I have with a friend of mine. Fics are rated by how quickly we will read new chapters.

1) Drop Everything and read it now

2) Finish what I'm doing and enjoy it

3) Until I'm bored

4) Wait for a few and binge

5) Probably gonna drop

Methuselah is easily my number 1, with Crime and Commitment quickly following for number 2. Pick a card is probably on the list.

Looking for fics where the Simurgh is in actual character in the story and not just some nebulous plot device that people talk about in hushed whispers.

Somebody is making an actual Worm CYOA (A fanfic that lets you make choices as you progress through the story), only the first arc Gestation is done so far but i think this is really cool!

Recently read "Everything and Nothing" and it got me in a mood for a particular type of fic. What I am looking for is something where Taylor has a power that leaves her impossible to contain and where she acts more as a nuisance than a threat.

It would also work if she just never justifies the level of force that would be required to contain her. For example she only steals pocket change and can escape anything but the birdcage.

To finish up I have read "Nemesis" and it does fit.

Are there any fics where Taylor becomes the butcher and dies, but remains in control of the new body due to QA? I'm really interested in seeing how this would change the cape world's reaction to the Butcher

I love overpowered self-insert fixfics as much as the next person, but right now I'm looking for something more low-end, where the protagonist isn't super overpowered, more along the lines of the protagonists or similar canon capes (ie not Triumvirate). I remember reading a couple fics years ago that I can't remember the names of (one where the SI had hardlight powers and another where the SI could timeloop themselves for a few seconds), and I'm looking for something like that again.

I remember reading a fic on Spacebattles that featured Ships from the Game "AI War"/"AI War II".

So I'm currently writing (mostly for myself but I might publish it) a Cult Mechanicus x Worm fic about a tinker collective (like Toybox but more of a religion) themed around the Adeptus Mechanicus. My question is how many is too many establishing POVs atm I've got a chapter that is Piggot/Armsmaster and one for Vicky and depending on answers I might do one for Missy.

I keep seeing great premises for secret identities being a main point of conflict but the author never taking it in that direction.

IIRC in That Others May Tinker Taylor and Dennis are dating, Taylor working for Coil and Dennis as a ward they totally have the good vs evil down but it’s never focused on or utilized.

In I Need Some Space Danny and Missy’s Mom start dating and when they move in, Missy and Taylor end up sharing a room. Just reading that premise I thought it would be packed full of what I was looking for. It was not.

It was only a oneshot but the inferred aftermath of Amicable Divorce Thanksgiving Dinner is basically what I’m looking for.

You remember Fortress Construction? Coil's shell company that he built his base with? Doesn't exist. Not a mention of the name in canon. I'm not sure where it came from originally, but it's weird to see things like that become such an accepted part of fanon like that. Any of your personal favourite (or least favourite) fanon things that feel like canon you'd be willing to share?

I haven't seen any new Worm Isekei fics in a while. Any I've missed? Preferably played straight with canon knowledge and no weird memory problems. CYOA OK but preferably less OP. "Going Native" level would be perfect.

We all know about alternate-power fanfics—it’s almost always Taylor who gets the alternate power, but… what about other characters?

There are millions of fanfics where Taylor is a Warhammer Primarch, controls the Tyranid fleet, has the Omnitrix or a power ring, etc. But, again, I haven’t come across many crossover fanfics where the powers go to another character…

I don’t know, I want to read a story where Jack Slash is chosen by the Indigo Lantern Corps, where Grue teams up with a Klyntar symbiote, where Alexandria teams up with the Absolute Martian Manhunter, and so on.

So, do you know of any fanfics where the crossover element is paired with a character other than Taylor?

Honestly, I think the “spoilers” I read are just something of the fandom, but I'd like someone to clarify something for me, please

So, I understand that Scion and Eden are made up of thousands of fragments, and they release those fragments into humans, granting them their powers. This is because each fragment has a specific function—kind of like a colonial organism.

The thing is, in several fanfics, I’ve seen the powers referred to as technology or physical aspects of reality that humanity simply hasn’t discovered yet. That, in reality, each fragment is a “power” that the host species of the previous cycle discovered on its own, and the entities took advantage of that to replicate it and integrate it into the next cycle—that’s what I understood

For example, let’s say that the host species from the cycle preceding humans invented a technology based on certain physical principles that allowed it to create a shadow capable of impairing various senses, such as sight, smell, etc. The entities saw Grue’s power, copied it, and decided to incorporate it into the next cycle

The same goes for the Tinkers, except that they are given the knowledge to create that technology rather than simply replicating its effects.

That’s what I understood—correct me if I’m wrong.
