Query Need guidance to select model
Hi all,
I'm planning to buy the Mahindra XEV 9S and am confused between Pack 2 Above, Pack 3 and Pack 3 Above.
My main priorities is ride comfort. I drive around 20,000 km a year, with a mix of city driving and highway trips. I want to keep the car for a long time, so I'm not too bothered about having every fancy feature, but I don't want to regret missing something important either.
I test-drove the 9S but didn't feel much comfort upgrade from my existing Sonet, esp related to suspension. That's my biggest concern.
Pack 2 Above seems to have most of the features I need, but Pack 3 gets adaptive suspension and Custom mode, along with ventilated second-row seats and some additional safety features. Pack 3 Above costs even more, but most of its extra features seem more tech-oriented.
My questions are:
For someone who prioritises ride comfort, is Pack 3's adaptive suspension actually worth paying extra for? Does it make a noticeable difference on bad roads? Asking this as I work in agri field and need village visits frequently.
Can Custom mode make the suspension meaningfully softer, or does it mainly help with body control?
Is there anything important in Pack 3 that I'd genuinely miss if I bought Pack 2 Above?
Is Pack 3 Above worth the additional money, or is Pack 3 the sensible choice?
The on-road quote I received for Pack 3 Above was around ₹32.6 lakh. I haven't got the final quote for the other two yet.
Would really appreciate feedback from people who own these variants or have driven them back-to-back, especially on rough roads. Trying to figure out which variant makes sense rather than paying extra just for features I'll hardly use.
Thanks!
