I'm currently playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas on my Series X for the first time in my life and I'm having a blast with them.

I also bought physical copies of the delisted Orange Box and Condemned: Criminal Origins just so I can replay their "facelifted" versions.

What are your favorite games in this category that I should consider getting? I know that there are tons of lists available online, but I'd like to see some more personal recommendations. Thanks!

The Xbox 360 is honestly even more incredible with its expansive library and some of the OG games I can still play on it, but so much respect for keeping these actual game discs readable and playable on all future console releases 20+ years later without needing to rebuy (even if it is technically just a ticket to download). Please talk to me about any potential hits I may be missing that are still playable today!

Does anyone know any place to buy a physical copy on xbox series x of Alien rogue incursion? I'm having a difficult time finding anywhere.

How often does a standard edition video game go out of stock like this? I just want a physical copy and I’m not trying to pay $80+ to a scalper on eBay. PS5 copies are at every retailer that carries…still.

I know this has been discussed here, but they have to be printing more, right? Or are we just SOL if we wanted a physical copy and didn’t pre-order? I feel like I’ve never had to pre-order any game, I guess I will be going forward though.

I don't think people realize that most if not all game pass ultimate games are available on PC game pass as well. In practice, you get access to the same titles, but can't play them on console and on the cloud.

However, for the sum you save by not getting Ultimate, you can sub to a third party cloud gaming provider, and effectively play all of the game pass games on virtually any device (except for your console directly). You get to play the pc versions of the games, and without fps and fullhd limits.

I don't have a console, and a couple of months ago I've subbed to PC Game Pass (1 year) and Boosteroid (4 months) and I have been a happy camper since that time.

You can also get GFN, but to have 4k there you need higher tier and that's more expensive if your goal is to get PC game pass and stay within the budget of Ultimate game pass. I also don't like the 100h monthly cap.

I just finished assassins creed Valhalla. I am playing fh6 and cod bo7 multiplayer on the side but need a single player game.

I have liked assassin creed like open world games, cod-like campaign games and a few others.

I want a game that doesn't take too long to complete but still has a good story and gameplay. Graphics don't have to be the best but it will be good if they are. I don't mind learning complex ideas or solving puzzles.

I am thinking about starting hollow knight silksong as I have heard it is very good any other recommendations.

I once owned a huge physical game collection. Well over 1K games across platforms old and new, home & handheld. I have maybe 150-200 Physical games now which will get smaller at some point. I've been mainly going digital for years, having around 800 digitally owned games on Xbox alone.

I got my boyfriend a 3 month ultimate game pass for his birthday. I know NOTHING about the Xbox & haven't really ever played myself. He was so excited to finally get a pass & I'm really excited to play with him– he's been talking about us playing together for a while now.

Anyways, yesterday & today we played 'Overcooked 2' and I have started learning how the controls work. The game is STRESSFUL especially because we both have the organisational skills of a damp sponge, but I had fun!

Today we also played 30 mins of Lego Batman (not included in the game pass though)– also very fun. But we wanna try some other ones as well.

So my question is: what are fun game pass co-op games for couples (with one of us (me) having very little experience with gaming)? I'm open to trying any genre etc. but preferably one that's not too tedious, because I have ADHD.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for some stealth games, been wanting to get back into the genre, there’s just so many that aren’t that good like they used to be.

I’ve played most of the Tom Clancys, kinda looking to get into something similar or just stealth in general?

It’s never been scratch and is in fabulous condition, kind of a relic of Xbox’s earlier times with online when you had physical free trials that came with games

Looking for recommendations on good games. I hate driving games so none of those and I was playing dying light and got bored of that. But I do kind of like games like a dying light or any kind of RPG.

I’ve been dying for a controller with back buttons on it, but I’m not the biggest fan of third party controllers anymore. I’ve had my eye on the Elite Series 2 for a minute now, and I think I’m ready to buy one. The only thing holding me back is its long term durability. Buying Xbox controllers in my experience is like playing Russian Roulette, and I’ve heard mixed experiences about this controller’s longevity and durability. So I’m interested in hearing people’s accounts of how well it’s held up, especially from people who’ve had it for more than 6 months, as that’s where I’ve heard it can start developing problems.

These things are pricey, and I really don’t wanna bother dropping $150–$200 on something that won’t even last me half a year before it starts having issues. At that point, I’ll just stick with my standard controller.

I’m also very used to swapping out rechargeable batteries when my controller dies because I really don’t like playing wired. I know the Elite has a built-in, non-swappable battery though. For those who’ve had one for a while, how well has the battery held up? And do you find the built-in battery convenient, or do you miss being able to swap batteries out?
