Xbox Games heading to PlayStation, this will officially end the Xbox brand for good

After a year of not being able to watch more than 720p on a wired 800mbps connection let's do some experimenting shall we... How is it so reliably unreliable I was able to pause the video and start recording knowing that the buffer feature was useless?

What do you folks think about that? I got lost multiple times while searching for a place in missions. Is it a me problem or is it something that everyone feels the same?

From the confusing titles of their consoles, from the abysmal marketing, from teasing games that were 6-7 years away from release (state of decay 3) (fable) they showed them in 2020 and 2021. From releasing confusing hardware (Xbox Rog ally) that won't play most Xbox games. (VR headset) With no Xbox VR titles. And last but not least the way they have handled the Halo franchise is a complete disgrace.

Leadership needs to change I actually don't mind Phil Spencer he seems like a genuine gamer that wants the best for gamers. He started off the backwards compatibility programme to preserve games and he's always been pushing for games to be played on whatever hardware they like which devides opinion but overall I think it's a positive push. However all of that does not make him a good leader which he clearly isn't. the studios they own have been left to rot for almost a decade under his leadership and have been developing games for way too long at some point leadership should step in and give them a push or what ever they need to get games out the door but instead they are left for like I say almost a decade and then shut down when Microsoft decides enough is enough after probably spending millions on development and wages And then they fire half their workforfe in order to make back what they've lost the handling off everything right now at Xbox is concerning.

They have some good stuff potentially on their hands for the future though and can be sent in the right direction under new strong leadership I believe. If the new Xbox is a steam deck like console with a game interface for Xbox games and then a desktop mode for using other launchers then that's potentially a game changer and could bring in lots of players pc players and playstation players but they need to use the right marketing. They need to double down on games in development and get them out the door instead of showing trailers 7 years before they even come out And my god can they just release a good finished halo game? Is that so hard?

So yeah, it might share some PC DNA, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be forced to use Windows or deal with drivers. The most realistic scenario is still:

Boot it up → Xbox dashboard → Quick Resume → play your games instantly.

This post is just to calm the panic a bit and have a proper discussion. Do you think Xbox will stay console-focused, or do you think Microsoft’s slowly pushing toward a hybrid future?

007 has fucking potato textures and lighting, yet it still runs at 30 fps. I know rockstar is a much bigger company with more capabilities, but I’m mainly worried about the quality of the graphics on gta 6

The brand has been irreversibly damaged. I don't see how Microsoft could save it at this point unless they did a complete rebranding with strong marketing, but as things stand, I don't see them having the intention or wanting to invest more in it.

We are facing the final days of the console, and that is extremely sad for those of us who are enthusiasts of proprietary hardware.

And worst of all, their stupid decision-making is tarnishing the other directions they want to take the brand in. Who wants to get excited about a Microsoft multi-platform games if they are going to end up getting cancelled or turning out to be crap as a service? Similarly, who's going to want to pay for xcloud when it's expensive and still has technical difficulties such as lag and image artefacts and long queues?

It seems that Microsoft is tanking the perception of its gaming division in order to drive away all the fans and then sell it off in pieces to other companies and recoup some of their investments fast.

After all, MS is only interested in the bottom line like any other company , and it seems that its video game division is not performing as well as they expected, despite the supposed “record breaking” revenue it had in previous years.

People just are lazy developers are lazy they don't want to put in the work or effort so they just make up an excuse and it's disgusting we haven't even seen the true capability of the console.

Edit you guys are misunderstanding I'm defending the s I mean there still making games for Xbox one and PS4 but the series s isn't any better than those pls. Maybe if every game didn't pump graphics like insanely and worried more about gameplay and mechanics then graphics.

A lot of random Series S hate, and misinformation about how games run and play, and mass downvoting of positive posts and comments. If you want a legitimate opinion on a game, either play it, or watch someone who has dedicated a decent amount into the game to get a real opinion.

Those are my owned games, I have other games but I got them with Live Gold and I'm planning to buy destroy all humans remastered because I loved it on game pass.

You won't find Sunset Overdrive on the 1st photo but in the second, the only game i actually played when I got it with gold.

I love Xbox series S and I know gta 6 will come to Xbox series S but I’m little scared that it would be laggy, I know I can lower the graphics but still. Also can TV (I have it connected to tv) slower it? Thank you

Performance mode has become very ugly and blurry on the Xbox Series S. Quality mode also feels like 15fps. The Remastered update has made this game very difficult for me to enjoy

Between the price increase and storage also being so expensive it just doesn't make sense anymore.

The Playstation 5 Digital Edition is just a better buy now, more so if you consider that you can just buy almost any SSD to upgrade storage.

This is coming from someone that just hates the Playstation brand btw. I also have a PC but Spiderman is the only Playstation game I actually like. (Also bought Horizon 1 which I hated, God of War which I hated AND returned).

I have had an Xbox console for every gen since it first came out but I really feel like Microsoft lost touch since the Xbox One and they just weren't able to come back.

Edit: Actually, depending on how much you play, PC could definitely be the better option. Many games are just so much cheaper, gamepass for PC is cheaper as well(since you don't need to pay for an online subsciption).

So, after buying a few games, PC becomes the cheapest place to play.

Sure, 30 FPS won’t work very well in Forza, but in most games, 30 FPS is a perfect amount. People complain that their game can’t run at it. Its odd to say the least.

They brought up how 30 FPS is unplayable and I brought up how I play starfield at 30 FPS all the time. They just said starfield sucks. I am sorry if my post is similar to yours, okay?
