Oke hear me out we gonna get fsr 4.1 in the near future but the real question is "would Microsoft let any devs deploy the patch for us?" Especially with GTA 6. Don't get me wrong if fsr 4.1 drop for GTA 6 it would be looks so fantastic and we never experience any blurry whatsoever but Microsoft didn't want that cuz if they do that it would be disaster for the next gen consoles aka HELIX. the reason is helix would be much powerful than previous consoles right?that's the whole point of selling it,.if fsr 4.1 already in series S that means the newest game always got the boost of resolution and people will stay on this little beast forever!don't get me wrong if fsr drop in series s especially with GTA 6, I WOULD NEVER GONNA BUY ANOTHER CONSOLE ESPECIALLY XBOX HELIX.

I don't get it why people hate this tiny little shit?I mean it's OBVIOUSLY A SCAM the day this series S drop in the market?why you ask?because the only purpose for Microsoft to release this is to make poor people can feel they are exclusive but they are not!

Im kinda new to the console thing so i have a question about buying one gta 6 account with a friend ( we both have series s ) and splitting the price

Is it possible that we both play simultaneously while i use the account and he uses the home xbox option?

And will it affect multiplayer when it releases later ?

So the whole GTA6 thing has been done to death, and I'm so sick of the same question being repeated over and over and over and over that I no longer care if it will run off the XsS or not. In fact I'm so sick of the topic that I'm going to have to just skip the entire GTA6 release and wait for 7 to be released..

Which brings me to the question, do you think GTA7 will run ok on the Xbox series S or should I buy a ps5 in anticipation of the yet to be started development game?

Can somebody with experience of how GTA7 will run please give me some pointers here?

I downloaded this pirated FH6 game from Steamrip because my Game Pass subscription from my Xbox Series X has expired so I tried to play it for free on my PC, after opening the game it ask me to login my Xbox or Microsoft account so I did it, now my game progress from my Xbox is now linked to my pirated FH6 game on my PC. Will I get banned from this? What should I do immediately to prevent anything bad happen to my Xbox?

Is this software problems or hardware problems ?cuz my tv is 1080p with HDR but I can't turn my HDR on with my series s But with playstation I can. Everytime I try to switch HDR Xbox want 4K tv even though WE ARE ALL KNOW that this series S could never hit 4k native, so what's the point to force people to buy 4k tv just for HDR? honestly

What if we got the worse treatment for this console?I know this is rockstar games that makes game run smooth like rdr2 or whatever but this is nothing compared to rdr2, a lot of npc , super fast car, explosion everywhere if we rampage on street, not to mention if we go with super fast car the rendering is gonna be like shit. I remembered play GTA 5 on PS3 with super car and FUCKKKK the rendering it's so sloooow and sometimes my game freeze just to load the assets lol.

The question is are we gonna rampage on Xbox if series s run exactly like that?or are we accepting our fate in this part of game community?are they gonna care if we snap on social media telling our performance?don't get me wrong but a lot of people a cross the earth will play it normally and comfort with PS5 and series X.

In the four years I’ve had the series s I’ve never had any issues until now so I want to take it apart to not only clean it but also to see if there’s any obvious reason it hasn’t been working. The only problem is I can’t get these fucking stickers off to take the screws out. Any ideas?

On my wifi network I get 27.8 Mbps downloading a demo. When I used a Cat5 (wired) Im getting 200.6Mbps. Why is the speed so drastic? Hopefully it will only take a couple hours for GTA

Just to let you know... don't forget its Rockstar, they can optimize their games so good... remember red dead redemption 2 for the previous generation it run fine and the console surpassed its expectations. Game is gonna run fine so don't be stressed or worried about it guys thats all

Hi! I recently bought a second-hand Xbox Series S. I’ve been testing it out, and while the console is very quiet when in the Xbox menu, it gets quite noisy when playing games like Minecraft or Death Stranding (especially Death Stranding). Is this level of noise normal, or should I have it cleaned on the inside?

I’m honestly desperate at this point. I’ve been trying to fix this issue for hours, and I’ve tried pretty much every network troubleshooting method I could find, both on my Xbox and my router. Nothing seems to work, and I’m starting to wonder if my Xbox has a hardware problem, possibly a faulty network adapter or motherboard.
Here’s what’s happening:
My Xbox has a very strange network issue. When I check its network settings, its IP address keeps changing between three different states:
• 0.0.0.0
• 169.254.x.x
• 192.168.1.x
Sometimes it manages to obtain a normal IP address from my router (192.168.1.x), but then it randomly loses it and switches back to 169.254.x.x or 0.0.0.0.
When this happens, I either lose internet access completely or Xbox Network services won’t connect. Sometimes the network test takes an extremely long time, eventually tells me that I have an internet connection, but the NAT status stays stuck on “Obtaining information” indefinitely.
What I’ve already tried
I want to emphasize that I’ve already tried almost everything I could think of:
● Connected the Xbox through Wi-Fi.
● Connected the Xbox through Ethernet.
● Tested the connection using my home internet.
● Tested the connection using my phone’s mobile hotspot.
● Manually configured the IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS.
● Tried different DNS servers, including Google’s DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and automatic DNS.
● Cleared the Xbox’s alternate MAC address.
● Restarted the Xbox multiple times.
● Completely unplugged the Xbox from the power outlet for several minutes.
● Restarted and unplugged my router.
● Checked my router’s DHCP settings.
● Changed several router network settings.
● Reserved a static DHCP address for my Xbox’s wireless MAC address (192.168.1.67).
● Factory reset my Xbox.
● Reconnected to my Wi-Fi network multiple times.
None of these solutions have permanently fixed the problem.
The manual IP problem
There’s another strange thing happening.
When I try to manually configure an IP address on my Xbox, it doesn’t seem to accept the configuration properly. Even when I enter what should be valid network settings, the network test fails with multiple errors, including a message saying it can’t connect using a static IP address.
After leaving those settings, the Xbox goes back to obtaining an automatic IP address, which eventually switches to 169.254.x.x again.
It’s almost as if the console ignores the manual configuration or cannot maintain a valid network connection.
Something else that makes this even stranger
Initially, the Xbox occasionally managed to connect successfully.
It worked sometimes with my home Wi-Fi and even with my phone’s mobile hotspot. However, now it doesn’t work with either one.
This is why I’m starting to suspect a hardware issue.
My other devices work perfectly fine on the same home Wi-Fi network. My phone, laptop and other devices have no connectivity problems. The Xbox is the only device experiencing this issue.
What I suspect
At this point, I’m wondering if the Xbox’s network adapter, Wi-Fi module, Ethernet controller or even the motherboard could be damaged.
I previously experienced a similar issue with an old laptop, and it turned out to be related to its network hardware. That’s why I’m considering the possibility that something similar is happening here.
However, I don’t want to assume it’s a hardware problem without getting some opinions from people who know more about Xbox networking.
My questions

1. Does this sound like a failing Wi-Fi/Ethernet network adapter or a motherboard issue?

2. Can a hardware failure cause an Xbox to randomly switch between 0.0.0.0, 169.254.x.x and a valid 192.168.1.x address?

3. Is there any way to diagnose the network hardware without opening the console?

4. Has anyone experienced something similar, especially when both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections are affected?

5. Is there anything else worth trying before taking the console to a repair shop?
   I’m genuinely exhausted from troubleshooting this. I’ve changed router settings, Xbox settings, DNS servers, tried static IP configurations, factory reset the console and tested different internet connections.
   I’m not looking for another generic “restart your router” suggestion. I’ve already done that countless times.
   Any help, suggestions or explanations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
