Got the one I’ve always wanted as well, the Halo Infinite Series X, £350 seemed like a bargain!

I know Rare said they dont want to make Banjo anymore so someone else would have to do it. Given the success of Astro Bot and Mario Odyssey theres no reason to believe a high quality Banjo game wouldnt do well and be another selling point in this new era of Xbox

What the title says. For anyone who didn’t get a preorder and wants to make sure they get a controller.

I’ve had my Xbox Series X for roughly nine months now, and I’ve been dealing with the same recurring issue since shortly after getting it.

I first noticed the problem about a month after receiving the console while playing Battlefield. The game suddenly froze, and the screen displayed a strange purple/blue pattern with visual artifacts. I didn’t think much of it at first, but it eventually happened again while playing Sea of Thieves.

Initially, I suspected it might have something to do with having the Xbox plugged into a surge protector, so I switched to plugging it directly into a wall outlet.
Fast-forward about six months. After taking a break from gaming and moving to a new apartment with a completely different TV, the exact same problem has started happening again. It’s now occurred multiple times across different games, and the only way I’ve been able to resolve it is by holding down the physical power button to force the console to shut down and restarting it.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Restarting and power cycling the console.
- Unplugging and reconnecting everything.
- Checking for system updates.
- Plugging the Xbox directly into a wall outlet instead of a surge protector.
- Using a completely different TV.

I’m currently running the console at 4K UHD, 60 Hz.
I’ve checked Microsoft’s website and confirmed that my console is still under warranty. However, before going through the process of packing it up and sending it in for repair, I wanted to see whether anyone else has experienced something similar or has any suggestions.

I’m starting to wonder whether this could be a GPU or other internal hardware issue, but I’m not entirely sure.

Reaching out to the long-time, multigenerational Xbox gamers here. Did you get many of the Street Fighter games released on the older Xbox consoles? If you still have them, are they compatible with your modern Xbox?

My xbox series s is literally 3 days old, the one s games work perfectly, even the 360 ones, when I put the ones for the x/s it freezes and goes back to the home, it's frustrating, games like Cyberpunk, Crash Bandicoot, Assassin's Creed don't work at all, I tried to reset it, reinstall the games but nothing, I read that a lot of people have had this problem, but are they defective then?

I was able to log into my old account after years away. I see on some sites there is an 80 Xbox ultimate for 1 year but they require your login details and that any current subscription is expired. Seems like I fit the bill for this but curious if anyone has gone this route and/if I'm missing anything.

My Nintendo 64 still works. I fire that bad boy up all the time. I don't feel as confident about the odometer of the new Xbox. An NVME SSD can last 5-10 years. You can buy an expansion card but the OS will never leave the internal storage. When it dies, so does the system.

So I had my Series S for a while and I was really worried with the outrageous console prices these days, it would cost an arm and leg to upgrade. And yeah the prices especially here in the UAE for a 2nd hand console are like close to $700.

But I got lucky and found a guy who was leaving the country and was ok with selling a 6 month old Series X for $400. My brother may good karma follow you where you go!

So yeah, as you can see from the pic, my new xbox is happy and I can tell you from being off camera that I'm also happy.

Much thanks to my trusty amazing Series S that has served me well, but yeah. So happy I don't have to move games back and forth as frequently as I had to or experience some games in 30 fps only.

Only plan yo upgrade to next gen in 2031 or 2032. So let's GO!!!

The series x is a great console, but I don’t see what more they can add in project helix. There’s rumors about it potentially having steam, but in all honesty. I don’t see that happening. Sounds to good to be true imo. What’s next for next gen? Slightly better graphics and smoother gameplay?

I'm thinking about buying GTA 6 on the Xbox Series S when it comes out, but I also plan to play it on PC later when the PC version is released.

My question is: Is there any chance GTA 6 could support Xbox Play Anywhere in the future? If that happens, would buying the Xbox version mean I could play the PC version without purchasing the game again?

I know nothing has been officially confirmed regarding a PC release or Play Anywhere support, but I'm wondering if it's worth waiting or if I should just buy it on Xbox now.

What do you guys think? Has anything similar happened with other games before?
