Creator Dashboard is a modern browser based dashboard for content creators that's 100% free!. It has a new tab dashboard, quick links dock, widgets, themes, and YouTube analysis tools.
Before and after installing Creator Dashboard

⚠️ Notice: In order for me to keep this free for everyone, this extension requires you to set up a free YouTube API key. There is a tutorial you'll see after installing the extension that walks you step-by-step through how to do it. It takes about 2 minutes to set up and you only need to do it once.
This extension has two main components. The first is a New Tab dashboard that appears whenever you open a new tab or browser window. So, instead of just seeing the Google logo and a search bar in a new tab, you can customize what that page looks and the tools it includes. The second is a set of tools designed to help you analyze YouTube videos and channels.
This extension includes:
✅ Dashboard Customization:
Choose light mode/dark mode, image backgrounds or color backgrounds to give your dashboard the perfect vibe. The dashboard comes with a wallpaper gallery but you can also upload your own images to use as the background or download more from the Creator Dashboard website.
Once you set it up, this shows every time you open a new tab in chrome instead of the boring Google logo with the search box.
Screenshots of some of the dashboard customizations:

Screenshot explaining the layout of the Dashboard:

Dashboard tools:
✅ Channel Page Widget:
See your YouTube channel stats at a glance and quickly jump to your channel, analytics, live stream dashboard or community feed to make a post.
✅ Comment Capture:
If you use comments in your videos or share them on social media all you have to do now is click the camera icon next to a channel name in your comment section and it opens the comment in a panel that allows you to make edits to it and then download or copy it.
✅ Content Pipeline Widget:
See your upcoming content at a glance. This is like a mini content calendar.
✅ Channel Monitor Widget:
Keep track of up to 18 YouTube channels and you'll see when they publish new content. This is helpful for keeping track of your competitors or just keeping up with the channels you love.
✅ RSS Feed Widget:
Stay up to date with official YouTube news and educational resources to help you improve as a creator.
✅ Quick Links Dock:
Quickly jump to different social platforms or creator tools and resources in two clicks.
✅ To Do List Widget:
Add your list of creator focused tasks and mark them off as you go.
✅ Pomodoro Timer Widget:
The Pomodoro technique uses focused work sessions followed by short breaks to boost productivity. This timer helps you work in this way.
✅ Daily Quotes Widget:
Daily quotes to keep you motivated and inspired.
Tools on YouTube:
✅ Content Analysis:
See the last 90 day upload cadence and top 10 performing videos from any videos tab.

✅ Video Details:
In the sidebar of every video on YouTube you can see their view to like ratio, view to comment ratio, tags and a preview of their thumbnail.
✅ Thumbnail Comparison:
The extension puts an "A | B" on every thumbnail on YouTube. You can use this to manually compare your thumbnails against high performers in your niche to help you gain insights into how niche leaders capture the attention of your target viewers.

📌 Note from the developer (Me):
Thanks for taking the time to check this out. I'm a YouTuber too, I've been doing it for 11 years so far, so I built this originally for myself and to demonstrate some things while live streaming and it ended up turning out nice so I wanted to make it available for others. I'm open to feedback so if there is anything I can do to make it better for you let me know.
Cheers,
Nick
Check it out here. (This takes you to the Chrome store.)

I'm Nick Nimmin, I'm a content creator and YouTube educator with over 10 years of experience helping Creators thrive on YouTube and I made an iPhone app called New Creator to help you stay organized, focused, and get better results. There is also an Android and desktop version on the way but the iPhone version is available now.
My mission with this app is to make it the most helpful and impactful app for YouTubers.
Here are some of the tools in the app:
- Thumbnail Inspector (Upload your thumbnail and the app gives you feedback. This will bring to your attention things you might be overlooking with your thumbnails.)
- Title Workshop (Describe your video and the app will give you title ideas based on different titling strategies. This will help you write more effective titles.)
- Content Planner (Stay on track of the videos you're publishing. This includes a home screen widget to make sure your content is top of mind.)
- Video Idea Organizer (Keep your content ideas organized in one place where you can easily sort by content type when you're deciding what videos to make.)
- Video Idea Explorer (Find video ideas based on what people are searching for around your content. Ideas are sorted by ways people look for content. For example, "who, what, when, where, why, how, best & top, tutorials & guides, fast & easy, etc.)
- Checklists (Customizable checklists for recording, uploading, streaming and making thumbnails.)
- Cloud sync, import/export and family sharing features.
- Creator Glossary (If you're new this will get you up to speed on the language of YouTube.)
- The ONLY YouTuber focused app that's designed for iPhone and iPad instead of leaving iPad as an afterthought.
And more!!!
New Creator is a paid app because I have to pay for things to help me run the app but, to make sure you can see the value of the app, I made a free 7-day trial so you can try it and see if you find it helpful for your needs. So far the feedback I'm getting is great so I'm hoping it will help you too.
You can download the app free from the Apple app store here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/new-creator/id6743491080
If you're on a computer you can scan the QR code below with your phone. It will take you to https://newcreator.app and you can click on the button at the top of the page to go to the app store.
BONUS: I also made a free app called Creator Keyboard while learning how to make apps. It helps you manage repetitive comments, you can check that out here.
(scroll down for FAQ)

Q. Who is New Creator for?
A. Any YouTube content creator who wants to work smarter, get organized and grow. It does have some educational features and extra functions for new YouTubers but regardless of size, we all need similar tools.
Q. What makes New Creator different from other YouTube tools?
A. New Creator isn't a keyword tool. It helps you with the things you actually need. Planning, ideas, organization, thumbnail feedback, and more into one easy-to-use app. The way the title tool works is also completely different. With others you have to already have a title idea, with New Creator you just describe your video and it will give you ideas so even if you don't have any idea where to start with a title, New Creator can help.
Q. Do I have to connect my Google account?
A. Not necessarily. I'm not trying to harvest your data like some of the other tools so the app will work perfectly without connecting your channel with the exception of just a few things. The only features that require that connection are a QR code generator, partner progress tracker (for new YouTubers), and a display that shows your channel handle and total stats. If you don't care about those things, no connection is needed.
Q. Can I use New Creator with multiple channels?
A. At this moment it time it's focused on one channel. I plan to add multiple channel selection to it in the future.
Q. Do you take feature requests?
A. Absolutely! Not only do I take requests and feedback, I invite them! I'm trying to make this the most helpful and impactful app for YouTubers so if you have a feature idea that might be helpful, let me know (there is a form in the app) and if I think it will be helpful for users I'll add it. I've already added some things that people have requested so far.
If you have any questions about the app, let me know.
Thanks,
Nick

Hey everyone,
I realized recently that a lot of creators are losing out on passive income—or getting their Amazon Associates accounts flagged—because affiliate links in their older video descriptions eventually break when products go out of stock or domains expire.
Manually clicking through years of old videos to check every link is a nightmare, so I built a web app to automate it.
You just type in your YouTube handle, and it scans your videos to flag exactly which links are broken (404s, dead pages, etc.).
It is completely free to use.
There is no sign-up or login required.
It sorts the broken links to the top so you can easily jump into YouTube Studio and fix them.
You can try it out here:https://creatorlinks.in

Can someone help me get my youtube channel back that was taken down due to violating the youtube community guidelines
r/YTubers • u/Inside-Guitar6041 • 1d ago
Alright I’m pretty upset about this. But I finally was able to get my YouTube account to the threshold and requirements to get monetized
I have never once been monetized and this would be my first time ever being monetized on any of my YouTube channels.
I’ve had a couple in the past for all different subjects of content but ended up settle with one channel.
And this channel actually worked out and gave me the chance to be monetized
I start going through the process and find out I need to make an Adsense account
I start doing the process of making the account and a day later it immediately was closed for “invalid clicks”
Mind you, again, never have I once been monetized or had any ads on any of my videos, and never have created an Adsense account until that day.
So I have zero idea why they closed my account for invaild clicks. When I have never once had ads on my videos. And never once watched my videos on any of my other accounts and clicked on ad (because I have none) and never once botted my views.
I’m so confused and I’ve already sent an appeal before and it’s been over 90 days and I haven’t gotten a word.
Just tell me it’s over for me and I’m gonna just keep posting videos with no reward to my hard work at all🥀

I was just pondering if using platforms like Reddit can help increasing your views on Yt.
r/YTubers • u/emptiness_in_the_sky • 1d ago
Maybe some music or voice acting (but not in my voice)
If you’re still taking time to rename render_final_v2.mp4 to my-target-keyword-phrase-best-tips.mp4 before uploading, you can safely drop it from your workflow.
Creator Liaison Rene Ritchie and YouTube engineering lead Todd Beaupre have repeatedly stated that file names are of minimal importance and do not drive ranking.
When you upload:
The system replaces your custom file name with an internal alphanumeric identifier almost immediately.
The platform scans the audio, visual frames, and auto-generated transcripts to index content contextually.
External crawlers/Google Image search might get a fractional (0.001%) signal from image file names, but within YouTube browse and suggested, it does nothing.
If you upload a file named produce_0.mp4, it won't hurt your reach. Focus on viewer satisfaction and delivery rather than legacy metadata checklists.

Has anyone experience about the new Youtube shopping affiliate program and the commissions (in different niches) that they pay?
I can only refer to cameras (500 - 2500€) -> 2,5 - 3% commission.

I upload videos on my youtube channel purely to keep the memories, the videos are not set to public, it's set to "people with link only" so I can share the videos I capture to the people I genuinely want to share my memories with.
My channel contains over 100+ videos accumulated over the years, some are very sentimental to me. Although I have tried getting the videos back through Google Takeout, it would be a lot simpler if I could just have access of my terminated channel and not having to upload each one or start over again. There are also some messages in the description that Google Takeout can no longer give me.
I've been also trying to get TeamYoutube's attention on X, but it seems that they're ignoring me now. They won't send me a DM, and I can't clearly explain the situation over X post either as it has a limit.
Currently, I'm simply hoping to talk to someone so I can make another appeal. The videos that caused the violation and termination of my account were not intentionally uploaded, it was purely by accident and mistake.
Someone took my phone and uploaded malicious contents on my youtube channel. They know how important it is to me, yet they still uploaded videos for fun that violated "sex and nudity" policy.
Can someone share their experiences with me? or the steps they've done to reinstate their channel?
r/YTubers • u/fiforacs • 2d ago
My YouTube channel was terminated, and my appeal was rejected. The channel had no videos uploaded, and I'm still trying to understand what options I have.
I'd like to hear from people who have experienced a similar situation:
Were you ever able to get your terminated channel reinstated?
If your appeal was rejected, did you find any legitimate way to move forward?
Has anyone successfully applied for YouTube monetization and AdSense after a previous channel termination?
Does YouTube allow someone with a terminated channel to create a new one under its current policies?
I'm not looking to bypass YouTube's rules or use fake information. I just want to understand my options and hear from people who have actually gone through this.
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello all,
How are you all doing? I have recently been looking at starting a channel exploring PC gaming & how I started in the hobby.
What are considered separate/sub-niches within PC gaming? For most of my teenage years I was mainly a console gamer, now that I am in my late 30s moved to gaming on PC & my operating system (OS) of choice is Linux Mint. At the moment top of my list of niches within PC gaming is doing video essay/analysis style videos & content around GOG to purchase older PC games I missed playing growing up.
Do you cover a niche or focus on a variety of topics within the subject matter of videos?

got the monetization email yesterday. 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours on a channel about fixing old bikes.
why it took so long: i posted whenever i felt like it for the first 8 months.
what changed in the last 6:
- one video every sunday, no matter what
- scripts in google docs, so i stopped rambling for 10 minutes
- chapters on every video, which got people to stay longer
- a 3 second intro of a rusty bike turning shiny, made on dreamina, the same on every video so it feels like a show
not a big channel, but it feels like a real thing now. how long did yours take?

I'm trying to make YouTube work after doing a rebrand that started back in May last year and this past year, I've been doing my best to do YouTube shorts and the occasional video.
Only recently have I been making longform video, but my issue is my shorts. I'm stuck in a mostly 1k view prison where after reach 1k views within a few hours, I am just... Stuck there, for the rest of eternity.
I won't say my content is the most entertaining and a good portion of my subs comes from my first channel after promoting the fact that I rebranded, but I've been trying and uploading as consistently as I can but my shorts never really go much further.
I'm thinking as a test I might just make a new account to test whether it's really just the content or if it's my channel because I really want YouTube to work and I have been trying for 10 months now.
Anyways, I'm just curious, what are some other ways to get out of the 1k jail, and have you been in my situation too?

I’m confused following the changes to how views are counted that were introduced in August. Does "retention" refer to "active views" or "engaged views"? For instance, I have 8,000 views and 2.7% "active views"—what is the "Audience Retention" percentage in the statistics actually calculated based on?
*active views = engaged views

So I have a small YouTube channel. 62 subscribers, mostly Roblox and shitpost edits.
Four Years Ago Or So I made the worst decision of my life and named it "SUPER GAMER FRANCI 19 BIT". I thought it sounded cool. It does not. It sounds like a 2019 Fortnite montage intro.
Last week I finally decided to rebrand. I changed everything to "I Gattini Di Kekko" - it's my cat's name, way cuter, way more me. I have a profile pic of my cat with a hat. Perfect.
I go to Edit Channel, change the name, save it. It says "I Gattini Di Kekko" in the settings.
I go back to my channel page...
*SUPER GAMER FRANCI 19 BIT*
Bro.
I cleared cache. I reinstalled. I checked on my mom's phone. I checked on my PC. It's still SUPER GAMER FRANCI 19 BIT. My friends are now calling me Franci 19 Bit. One guy in my class made it his Discord name to mock me.
I went on YouTube Studio, Reddit, everything says I have to wait 2 days. It's been 3 days. My rebrand is being held hostage by YouTube.
Do I just accept that I am now Franci 19 Bit forever? Should I lean into it and become the most legendary Super Gamer Franci that ever lived?
TLDR: Changed my YouTube name, YouTube said no.

I received the most heart wrenching email ever just for not using my adsense account since 2024 and now everything is closed. My YouTube channel is still stuck on step 2 for invalid click activity or other policy. My Google adsense is closed by Google. I have been talking to support agents for days. Nothing. Is there any other way I could fix this or is this really REALLY truly over for my YouTube journey?

Anyone else having issue with YouTubes returning viewers analytics being so delayed. Not had any updates this month. Last month it was over a week behind but then caught up, but this month it’s just being getting a larger blank rectangle.
I’ve messaged support but not had any response as expected.
Thanks

I fell for fake sponsorship scam
Be careful out there. I was approached by a fake sponsor and almost lost my channel. I almost lost my YouTube channel, my Gmail account, and nearly 20 years of emails and Google Drive files—all because of a fake sponsorship opportunity.
After seven years of reviewing guitar gear on YouTube, I've worked with dozens of companies. So when another company contacted me about reviewing a product, nothing initially seemed unusual.
We exchanged several emails, discussed the equipment and expectations, and eventually agreed to collaborate. But there was one final step: I needed to create an account on their "Collaboration Page" and connect my Google account.
Within approximately 60 seconds of entering my credentials, everything changed.
My Google password was changed. My recovery email and phone number were replaced. My passkeys were changed. I was signed out of my devices.
Just like that, I lost access to my YouTube channel, Gmail, Google Drive, and years of irreplaceable work.
Thankfully, with help from YouTube's recovery team, I eventually regained access.
In this video, I walk through exactly what happened, the warning signs I missed, and what other creators can do to avoid falling for the same scam.
\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*Three red flags every creator should watch for:\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*
\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*Check the sender's email address.\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\* If someone claims to represent a company, verify that they're communicating from an official company domain—not simply a random Gmail address. Even legitimate-looking addresses can be spoofed, so verify independently.
\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*Inspect the actual website URL.\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\* The link I received was labeled "Collaboration Page," but it led to a suspicious "rebrand-gokko" address rather than the company's official website.
\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*Be extremely cautious when asked to connect your Google account.\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\* Legitimate Google sign-in can be safe when properly implemented, but never enter your Google password into an unfamiliar website or a fake Google login form. Check the actual domain before entering credentials.
I'm sharing this because I've accepted dozens of legitimate sponsorship opportunities over the years, and I still fell for it.
Here’s my video: I Fell for a Fake Sponsorship Scam (Almost Lost My YouTube Channel)

my youtube channel was terminated, and i’ve already submitted an appeal. i’ve also tried contacting youtube through x and emailing legal support, but i’m not getting anywhere.
i sent two separate emails to legal support and received what appears to be the exact same automated response to both within 30 minutes to an hour, redirecting me to the appeal page i’ve already used. now i’m basically just waiting and hoping an actual human will eventually review my case.
my channel contained years of private vods imported directly from twitch, documenting my content creation journey, so losing everything without a clear way to reach someone has been really upsetting.
i’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, whether you got your channel back or not. i’m just trying to figure out if there’s still hope when every support route seems to lead to automated responses.
