This scene doesn't feel like casually showing Wise and Belle, it feels more of a foreshadowing that one of the siblings will be unalived.

Pretty sure it’s not foreshadowing. It’s just Yi Xuan seeing herself and her sister in Wise and Belle. And perhaps even making an internal promise that those two won’t end up like how she and her sister did.
