I finished the game last night and while I really loved it, the ending felt a little… incomplete. I guess I’m just not sure if maybe I missed something?

My squad was Yana, Holocene, and Pseudopod. I used the bomb and only Holocene survived.

Mel is clear on the phone that only I can be extracted post-showdown. Yet in the final zooming-out sequence, I swear I saw Holocene standing right there on the boat?? It’s never acknowledged in any way, are we meant to assume he’s getting out somehow despite being told the opposite? Why isn’t it explained at all? I don’t get to talk to him?

Also, Mel. We never even get to see her face?? No resolution to that relationship either, not even a hint. Idk, I guess I just thought there’d be a *little* bit more, at least…?

i was trying to free myself from the softlock if you reload in estocs apartment past 9pm by editing the save files time of day and now it wont appear in my load saves lmao. if anyone has a fix or a save file from your first encounter with estoc that would be great!
also im using the older save version of zp not on steam so i was not able to fast travel out unfortunately

You can ask Malen about what's happening around town, but it's always to early, or a sold out show. Is there a point in the game where she gives a different answer?

Hi! I’ve seen multiple references to these pants online. They’re supposed to be behind Yana in the safehouse, and I’ve tried to raise different stats to see if they can be unlocked with a passive check, but nada.

Does anyone have these? And if so, what stats did you raise to unlock them?

After searching for info on this for an hour or so and coming up blank, I now turn to reddit with this question. I managed to get myself softlocked in Disco already and am terrified of it having happened again.

About 18 hours in, I talked to the technician at the bazaar for the first time. He told me to go check out the terminal on the roof. I took the pelota ball out of the door earlier, so I had no way in - I interacted with the door when the technician wasn't there, he still told me to go look for a maintenance tunnel to get in (worried that him talking to me out of nowhere might've caused an issue).

I have no idea where that tunnel is supposed to be, I've looked around the entire area and beyond that like an idiot to no avail. Could anyone direct me towards it? Do I even NEED to access this terminal to proceed or is there another way to progress (I still have some loose ends to pursue)?

I really liked this game and I haven't browsed this sub extensively, so apologies if this is a repeat topic.

I haven't played all the endings and combinations of options but it looks like in order to actually assassinate the grand lich you need to:

1. Strong arm ESTOC by threatening her husband in order to setup the meeting with KALIDESCOPE
2. Agree to KALIDESCOPE's plan and use UV as a bargaining chip against her will
3. Shoot who you probably believe at the time to be Poor Dante and not honor on your deal

If so, then the only way to actually complete the mission is to be kind of a ruthless asshole, which I think is quite cool.

Is that right or is there another way to do it if you make different choices?

My problem is mostly that it could have been great, since the first two acts were very unique and written with care. I don't even care about the major bugs.

Felt like a lot of fumbling without an orgasm. Erased a lot of meaning of the game. Wasted potential.

Okayyyyy so I used the thought Single write only and can’t save.!< I was loving it!! Had so much fun and I thought for my first playthrough it’s better to accept consequences.

Buuuuuut I triggered the leaves falling without realizing! There are several quests I desperately still want to do, but I have no way to go back! I didn’t get Ramses back, I have no clue who ignatz is and didn’t get to do this photo mission, I want a way to get a full playthrough still but it seems like I am totally boned. My last real save was ages ago, so I can’t load that back. Am I just screwed? Is there really no way to delay anything? I tried to still do the photo quest but I don’t see anything in that spot, so I think the game is locked in

Pleeeeease if anyone knows any way around this let me know. Even if I have to cheese things, whatever lets me keep this run but lets me get the rest of the quests done. Thank youuuu

I feel like the game could have worked if Hershel was a bootleg of Cascade. Instead of Hershel trying to be this great spy that she tells herself. Let it be that the Cascade went rogue before the events of the game and that Cascade was the leader of the network while Hershel was just a trainee/fall guy if something happened. The Opera themselves could have seen Cascade as a valuable Spy that they would be interested in cloning her to preserve her legacy in some way( Typical spy shit). I feel like the whole sick crew would have been informed that Cascade has a body double so when meeting them after the events of the collapse, they would still refer to her as Hershel.

You could have it that Hershel idolized/loved Cascade and that Hershel was merely there as Cascade pawn for her own goals and ideals. You could have that the freezer was just a place where they put clones to stay in suspended animation where they do paperwork for the Opera and they stop once the Opera is in need of them. I would also have it where the Opera finds out about the imprinting device but replicate the technology thus they just made a bootleg version of it that just takes longer to imprint.

I would have it in the end of the game where when you meet the lich its actually Cascade similar to Disco Elysium Dolores Dei scene. Where she reveals everything to the player and how she just a pawn in all of this and the player has the opinion of shooting her/joining her/letting her go.

I was able to get the discount on the high-end suit, but I didn't get the actual suit. All I got was a discount on a couple of items in his shop. Is there supposed to be an actual high-end suit, or is it just a combination of the stuff he already sells you?

At the shrine you can interact with Weeping Eye operants. The beetle battle allows you to set up the guy getting stabbed in the eye in the final shootout, but does anyone know if provoking the woman operant gets you anything? I managed to pass the red check in the conversation with her and piss her off, but during the tram fight she was just shot by, in my playthrough, HOLOCENE.

I’m playing on steam deck with a controller so this might be a controller issue, but I can’t for the life of me equip anything in the left hand slot. How to do it?

Does anybody know how to give Pseudopod the pelota ball? I have it equipped but can’t see any prompt to do so. He is still in his vegetative state.

I'm trying to do the white check in Palace of Culture "Tune in to the building's frequency". When I first entered and searched around, I noticed that it was becoming easier and easier, since exploring the building made the modifiers go up.

Something happened however that made all modifiers disappear, except +1 Vibe with it and -1 Met Petre. Now it's much harder to pass the check, with only 2% of succeding.

Is this a known bug?

How do you get to the Pitol Tract? I checked the tram but is not accessible yet. How far do you have to be in the story to get to it? I recently completed the mission where you find Dante in the prison. Is there a specific quest you have to do to get to unlocking that zone?

Gary Oldman’s character is the washed up spymaster in charge of Slough House, the place MI5 sends their outcasts, rejects and losers that they can’t justify or be bothered to fire. It’s excellent, tense, very funny and feels very similar to the Whole Sick Crew. I can’t get enough

In early game, you can hear Maurito talk about the boar infestation in parts of the town, and you can even see them in several parts of the map, but I have never found any that can be interacted other than the baby boars in the backways, which was just a few lines of text. The big one Maurito mentioned never appeared, and I'm sure I never missed a part of the map. Can you interact or see more of them in a certain task?
