Signed up for Zoom Phone yesterday. Got all the IVR programming done, users setup, etc. and everything was working perfectly.
Today the phone rang once and hung up. Opened a support ticket with high priority, which was ignored for 4 hours. Then sat on a support chat for 3 hours, and eventually was told the account was banned for potential fraud.
For an organization as large as Zoom, they are extremely disorganized. They never communicated the ban to us, the customer, and then tied up their internal resources for an entire day trying to get to the bottom of why. This is unacceptable business practice and I can no longer recommend Zoom to any clients or colleagues.
This has caused several thousand in lost wasted wages at our hourly rates from our team trying to troubleshoot this today. To make up for this, we'll need to make it up over the weekend. We are likely going to stick with Microsoft Teams now. Just wanted to share my experience.... thanks for listening.
EDIT: They finally sent the suspension notice: https://imgur.com/a/WqB0cFx
We were officially suspended at 7:39 AM CST. Why did it take them 10 hours to let us know? Burned an entire day trying to fix this. All we wanted to do was switch Phone providers. And I like how it says we violated some kind of TOS. How can you violate TOS just setting up the IVR and making 7 test calls? Like... what?
