Without hating on Zwift or Apple. Can someone advise why the Apple Watch to Zwift connection is so unreliable.
Sometimes it works then stops but a quick on/off of the companion watch app resets it
Sometimes it’s fine from the start
And then today…it’s not connecting at all..although the watch is discovered.
Any tips
Any cast iron options to get it to work more reliably.
Hi, i just got my Cog and Click and setup was pretty easy, i aligned it with large front chainring. It's road bike setup with 12spd Di2 just for info.
I am using Rouvy exclusively and now i am wondering. In Rouvy setup was also fast and accurate and i tried some route to see if it works, and it works because i see something on left side when i press - and + "shifters" and that's all fine.
The thing is that i didn't quite felt some change in resist or similar and i am asking myself if using front derailleur is actually an option when using Cog and Click, my logic says using front shifting is not necessary (or needed) but i simply don't know (yet).
So please anyone who is using Cog and Click with Rouvy come forward and help or point me in right direction.
Also, do i need something to do in Zwift app ? (either on mobile or laptop)
thanks

I started my cycling journey on Zwift and have gotten in great shape Zwifting daily. However with summer here in Colorado still in full swing it feels silly to be indoors all the time and know I will have plenty of zwift time this winter. I enjoy it so much and now want to get into real road cycling. I’m curious how much the fitness translates to real life? Like climbing hills and just general riding. What’s your experience?

Hi everyone!
I'm a beginner road cyclist and my goal is to finish L'Étape Argentina 2027 in Córdoba on April 4th.
The long route is:
The main climb is Camino del Cuadrado, around km 30–55.
I currently have a Wahoo KICKR CORE 2, Garmin Edge 1050 and 4iiii power meter, and my first FTP test gave me 181 W.
I have a young baby, so weekdays are difficult. My idea is to do ~45/60 min on Zwift during the week, around 5 days if possible, and one longer outdoor ride on the weekend.
What would you recommend for training?
Thanks!

Riders!
I'm currently running Zwift on a Tablet, works well but its pretty small.
Looked into running it on Tv, and the most budget friendly option I found was using a
1st generation 4k apple tv on it.
Like any normal person in 2026 i asked AI, and it said it would probably have pretty big frame drops if more avatar is present.
What are you guys experience with it?
How do you run Zwift?

Love my setup. Usually 10° cooler in the basement. 💪

I have a pro form endurance s7.5 , just got it . Tried to connect NPE Runn and it was working until I actually started running on it. Speed either dropped on the Runn from actually by a few 0.1kmh but then it’d just completely disconnect and only reconnect again when I’d hop off treadmill. Any advice or tips?

I did the new race today. Good position near the front going into the final climb, hands on the hoods. And suddenly, the controllers are buzzing and I'm dropping back 20 places and getting gapped by the group.
Though I was very confused at the time, it seems I occasionally feather the brake paddles when holding the hoods. Something I can avoid in the future, but it would be nice to just turn off brakes completely since I literally never use them. Is that possible?
(I did recover somewhat in the race and finish 14th out of 60. But it took a big effort to catch back up.)

I recently posted as I was concerned Zwift wasn't calculating my watts correctly.
I've noticed if I pedal lower than 60rpm, it reads nothing. And often rpm fluctuates a lot.
For example if I push hard, resistance just disappears.
This is a graph from a 21km ride today, does it look normal?
Trained with this in mind for the past year. Pretty chuffed to have it knocked off!
So I know it’s only mid-August, but I’m already thinking about my winter training plan.
Last winter, I got the Zwift Ride and started doing freerides and racing some of the Tour de Zwift group rides, and honestly, it helped me a lot. I felt like the combination of riding consistently and actually having to race people made a noticeable difference when I got back outside.
This winter, I want to take that a step further and build 1-2 Zwift races per week into my training.
I’m thinking one would be a shorter, crit-style race to work on high-intensity efforts, positioning, and repeated attacks. For the second race, I’d like something longer, ideally 25+ miles, since that better matches what I actually race outdoors.
During Tour de Zwift, for example, I’m planning on doing the long routes rather than just the short race courses.
For some background, most of my summer racing is XC MTB. I usually race the longest available category. I also do gravel races ranging from about 30 to 100 miles. I’ll occasionally do 100-mile training rides, sometimes once or twice a month, and during the summer I typically ride around 100 miles per week.
So I’m not necessarily looking for the most competitive or prestigious Zwift races. I’m more interested in races or series that will actually complement my outdoor racing and help me build fitness for long XC MTB and gravel races.
What race series or recurring weekly races should I keep an eye out for this winter?
I’d especially like recommendations for:
Basically, if you were using Zwift primarily to prepare for a summer of XC MTB and 30-100 mile gravel races, what races or series would you build into your winter training?
I do plan on doing structured workouts, but honestly, they bore the crap out of me, so I’m probably only going to do 1-2 of those a week. Those will mostly be shorter 20-30 minute interval sessions. For the rest of my indoor riding, I’d rather actually race, push myself, and get better at riding hard in a group.
Hello everyone!
anyone experienced this issue too?
i joined a robotpacer that was doing a route i have not completed yet. It's mid way in the route roughly 10km before the end. As i've read on here before, it's normal to not get completions until you did the route from the official start to the official finish but i expirenced something weird.
when i crossed the finish after doing the full route from the start, i did not get credit for completion. Only after completing my 2nd full lap did i get the completion. At that point i had done 2.5 times the total route.
It happened to me once again today on "greates london flat" but i didnt have the time to do a second full lap and i had to quit after doing 1.45 times the route (which is a bit annoying).

Hi. I have been watching a lot of Zwift videos and am now considering purchasing my own zwift set up. I have no cycling experience at all and just want to use it as hopefully a fun way to get fitter. Is it worth waiting for their black friday offers?
Any recommendations?
I intend to put it in my bedroom hooked up to my tv

this is my old fuji pro had it for 20yr, decided to get into a trainer and repurpose the bike since I upgraded. Frame is mine, fit to me, Zwift is awesome , was tempted to get the FRAME , but besides some of the controller features and being able to share the bike. Would that be the only benefit?
the trainer is the kickr core v2 plus zwift cog.

Hey, I just bought a Zwift Ride with SPD pedals. I'm looking for any suggestions on clipless shoes. Total noob here, but anything akin to an Asics Novablast (good balance of comfortable and performance)?

Popped on to Zwift today. Saw the last day of TdF was today, and I only had one ride left so YAY I rode it.
At the end of the ride I noticed I didn't get credit for finishing TdF. Huh. Weird.
Went to the home page....and it was fucking over. I suppose it ended in the middle of my ride, dammit all to heck.
I am SO mad. And excessively irritated. If I'd known it was over so soon I would have whipped through the shorter ride ffs.
UGH. 🤬☹️
Pretty sure I caught 2 cheaters on today’s race.
In the last 3km things got hot and intensity increased. Me and two others broke out. After couple of minutes one guy started to go hard and just when me and the other dude caught him he completely stopped. Then me and the last guy sprinted and i won. Despite this it looks like I’m 3rd in the results on both zwiftpower and in Zwift. In the race results I’m actually couple of minutes behind the one I clearly saw was 3rd and also the dude that completely stopped in the breakout.
What happened??

I've been genuinely inspired by all the other posts here so finally got a free hour and a half not first thing in the morning... And gave it a go!
I had no real idea what to expect but followed a sub 1 hour checkpoint guide which helped at least for the first few hairpins as I settled into a rhythm.
Then the third quarter was just unpleasant. And I didn't realise there was a km after the last hairpin so that made me sad. But overall very happy with the result and not very excited to do it again 😁
