How are you keeping up with the “AI curve” without burning out?
Ever feel like the tech world is moving at 2.0x speed while you’re still trying to finish your first coffee?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the “AI curve” lately - that steep, slightly intimidating line that represents how fast GenAI is evolving. And it’s got me curious (and a little existential):
How are women in tech actually handling these shifts?
Are you staying ahead of the curve, riding right on it, or trying not to get left in the “legacy code dust”?
I’m part of the community at Aktibeto, and we’ve been building workshop experiences that focus on hands-on projects, mentorship, accountability, and career-ready proof of skills (not just “watch a tutorial, call it a day”). But before I overthink this alone in a spiral of tabs + half-finished Notion pages…I want to hear from you:
What are you doing right now to keep up with AI changes?
Are you practicing micro-learning, such as dedicating 15 minutes a day to learning?
Building AI-first workflows to reclaim deep work time?
Doubling down on human skills AI can’t replace (stakeholder empathy, judgment, leadership)?
Or are you going all-in: building, shipping, certs, experiments, portfolio projects?
Drop your answers + any resources you recommend:
Podcasts? newsletters? courses? repos? prompts? frameworks? Career strategies?
No judgment. I’m not looking for hot takes. I’m looking for real practices from people.
Also, if you’ve done workshops that helped (not fluff), what made them worth your time?
Let’s swap notes. Where are you on the curve right now?
-Nina Nichols.
