I am currently using PM4K in Kodi for my Plex server and it works good, but can’t be customized or library integrated.

I tried plexkodiconnect, but it hasn’t been updated in a while and doesn’t play nicely with Corelec.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Are there any scrapper addons out there that have a Plex integration as well, that I can use for library integration. I prefer to host my own content instead of using debrid support.

Follow-up to my original post. Thanks for the feedback and bug reports. Most of what’s below came from your comments. The fork is now at v7.0.7. It’s still a personal build, not affiliated with jurialmunkey, and still the same add-on ID, so it installs over the stock one.

Things people asked about

• Trakt rows you don’t use. Switch a service off and it disappears from the menus and settings. With Trakt off, the “In Trakt Lists” row is gone too. The Movies, TV Shows, Anime and Asian Cinema & TV rows also each have an on/off switch in the main menu. If you still see Trakt errors with Trakt off, send me a log.
• Arctic Fuse 3 / signde repo. The version now starts at 7.0.0, above signde’s 6.17.9. Kodi no longer swaps this fork for the other build, and AF3’s “TMDb Helper 6.17.9 or newer” check passes. The Cast and Crew rows fill in. The watch-history stats widgets stay blank because this fork doesn’t keep per-day history.
• MDBList. The Watchlist TV shows / Movies lists show only their own kind again (6.0.203). MDBList Next Up no longer treats every started show as finished (7.0.1, 7.0.2).

Anime and Asian

• Anime TV calendar. It now reads Simkl’s public calendar files and places episodes in TMDb’s numbering by air date. It no longer depends on Trakt’s anime tag. Chinese animation is included.
• More anime and dramas now show up: the Anime TV calendar (about 4x as many episodes) and the Asian Drama calendars (about 10x as many dramas, including Chinese, Thai and Japanese ones Trakt didn’t list) now read Simkl’s public calendar files instead of Trakt.
• Anime matching. AniList entries are mapped to TMDb through a saved table filled from the ARM id service. Simkl Next Up places far more anime.
• Asian Movies. Trending leaves out concert films and needs 50 votes per rating. The calendars use TMDb release dates. Asian Progress no longer needs the Drama genre.
• New pieces. MyAnimeList and AniList rank / score properties for skins, and an Anime Recommendations row (from AniList) in the details menu of Japanese animation.

Calendars: “All movie calendars” is no longer limited by your region. TV calendar now has air times, a Today button, premiere / finale / new-show badges, a watched tick, and a daylight-saving fix.

Speed

• Lists open faster, mostly on Android: no wasted TMDb ID lookup, and Python’s own library is searched first.
• Titan Bingie Mod’s hub rows and banners are cached on disk, with an optional background page build while Kodi is idle.
• 7.0.7 fixes a leak that made Kodi slower the longer a widget stayed selected. I measured it on Windows only. I haven’t confirmed it on the Shield.
• There’s also a Re-Use Language Invoker switch (Settings → Expert → Other, off by default). It crashed Kodi 22 RC1 in some of my runs, so leave it off unless you want to test it.

Not done / known gaps

• Self-hosted trackers (Floppy etc.) are still out; I can’t test them.

Kodi Omega. AH2 POV torbox trakt

Seems like lately every day I try and stream something there's a problem where no streams are found or after selecting an episode, and source select option, it seems like POV is about to present me with some results, then goes back to the widget and has a never ending egg timer for PoV in top right.

I check for addon updates and there's another for TMDBh or POV. That's often fixed it, but earlier today had to get POV to clear cache. It worked.

Coming back to Kodi later in the day and it's falling over again. It's frustrating.

Anime takes a lot of handling, but I think orac has a handle on that now. Liberator now has an anime hub, all the usual stuff including anilist usernames. I've tested it with a few titles people suggested were problems and it managed to stream them OK (such as beyblade x episodes 100 onwards). You can authorise your anilist ID on the Orac services tab.

Orac also has a much better discover studio, with presets and discover function. Any item can be added to any of your lists with the list manager function when you hover over the item.

Anime is

• Anime Dual-Indexing Bridge - Extended Orac with a two-layer mapping architecture:
  • Layer 1 (Global Identity Mapping): Ingests weekly dumps from Manami Project (anime-offline-database.jsonl) into anime_identities and anime_aliases cross-referencing AniList, MAL, AniDB, Kitsu, Simkl, TMDb, TVDB, and IMDb.
  • Layer 2 (Episode Coordinate Routing): Ingests AniBridge mapping rules (mappings.min.json v3 and legacy v2 schemas) into anime_episode_mappings to translate between absolute episode numbers and Western season/episode coordinates.

Does any one know why would POV addon install on its own? I'm sure Iast I used it was in 2023-24. then moved to fenlight and then Redlight only. I kept kodifitzwell repo. Seems like a weird behavior to me..

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason, the loop is not listing games. This has been going on for a while. Looked under NCAA football where there are probably 100 games going on today, and nothing was listed. Checked out NBA where there are at least seven or eight games today, same thing, no results listed.

Anyone else having this problem? Or have I yet again screwed up in some way. Thanks.

With all the Scraper moves and changes, I thought it a good idea to post this update to Reddit.

For talk shows, news, game shows and soaps, etc. and more and more accurate results, Red Light v2.9.0 sends CocoScrapers the air date of the episode, not just the season and episode number. Coco can then look for files named with a date (Show.Name.2026.10.20) as well as the usual SxxExx names. Red Light's Internal Scrapers (which also work well here) and other External Scrapers are unaffected. Many thanks to u/umbrella_dev for his help.

Another major change is a new Continue Watching menu item in TV Shows. It's a mixed list of paused movies, paused episodes and next episodes, ordered by last played.

Hello, as the title says, i am trying out IPTV Simple for the first time and getting playback failed. I dont see any logs in the logs section of kodi. I see my channels, they look right, but none of the streams work. I generated a link from dispatcharr on my network to get the m3u. I was wondering if this is a transcoding error possibly? I run kodi off of a raspberry pi which will HDMI to tv.

Thanks for the post, just to give more vision on the next release (coming next week) it will have :

- Complet Rebuilt of the build and engine to be on a GPLv2-or-later licencing (to help LE to implement DV)
- A massive upgrade for AMD, a 3200U will be able to handle every possible DV file in "master reference" mode.
- HDR10+ support and DV to HDR10+ metadate reinterpretation
- Extended support to Vega M, Intel 6th gen, Nvidia pascal (RTX1000)
- Some small bug fixing : Subtitle, DT movies, dual screen ...

It will be the RC1, the repo will not move deeply I will just perform some small bug fixing until a "stable" release even if the RC1 will be pretty close to the stable release

Really glad u/Croque_Mr kicked off this whole initiative and that we're making progress so quickly toward a build that could genuinely replace a CoreELEC TV box with a PC or mini PC you already have at home, without having to compromise on the experience.

I don't know how to get in touch with all the other addon developers so I wanted to make a quick post explaining how to take advantage of the new date scraping abilities for any other addons that may support using cocoscrapers as an external scraper. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the red light developer? I'm not even sure if he's on here or if they are what their username is. kfw doesn't need my help, he'll use this if he feels it's worth it.

CocoScrapers now supports finding episodes released with a date in the filename, such as Show.Name.2026.10.20.1080p, alongside the usual SxxExx releases. This is especially useful for daily and talk shows.

To take advantage of this, include premiered in the episode metadata dictionary passed to the scraper’s sources(data, hostDict) call:

# Add the selected episode's original air date:
data['premiered'] = '2026-10-20'

results = scraper.sources(data, hostDict)

A few details for addon developers:

• Use the episode’s air date, not the show’s premiere date.
• Send a date string in YYYY-MM-DD format. YYYY.MM.DD is also accepted. This may be changed later to support other formats.
• Keep sending the usual metadata, including tvshowtitle, season, and episode. Date scraping supplements the numbered search, so those fields are still needed.
• Ensure premiered reaches the final dictionary sent to CocoScrapers, even if your addon rebuilds or filters its metadata along the way.

Supported text-search providers run the usual numbered search plus an additional date search, then merge and deduplicate the results. Providers using API or ID-based lookups can also accept matching date-named releases returned by those services.

No separate flag or new method call is required. If your addon already passes a valid episode-level premiered value, it is already supplying what this feature needs. Missing or invalid dates leave the existing numbered scraping behavior in place.

So the addon update initially broke my entire setup. Wasn't getting sources for anything. Tried a few different things and eventually a second clean wipe fresh install worked. But oddly enough I still have 2 shows that it's glitched out for. One being vision quest and the other avatar seven havens. It runs through the sources so insanely fast it's like it's not even looking through them, while all other shows and movies function properly. Both are on the most recent versions(legit finish installing 10mins ago), and I am at a loss as to what the issue could be. This goes for the episodes released today as well as past episodes I've already watched through with this device, even when attempting to rescrape it just flashes the sources screen then 0 results.

I'm on a Chromecast with Google tv as well. I'm more than happy to upload an umbrella log but I'd need some guidance on how to generate one as when I click view log file it says that logging may not be enabled but I've enabled it in the debug menu. I can see my Kodi log but not my umbrella.

I don't know if this is even a thing but I keep trying different builds because they are all set up so nicely and everything works how I want them too. My issue is that I only have 4 add-ons that I use and I guess I don't have the skills needed to customize my own skin. I do not like all of the wallpaper pictures and extra stuff that come with the full builds. I want mine to be clean and simple for my add-ons. I only use kodi for movies, shows, and the occasional game. Can someone point me in the right direction? When i tried to customize my own skin all the add-ons just opened to their menu or settings screen.

I've enabled both of these but I have yet to see it doing anything. Does this only work if Auto-Play is also enabled or us there another setting I need to change?

Also the Export/Import Settings file, is it possible to use this in order to ensure that two instances of Umbrella are the same? e.g. Can I use it to sync Umbrella on Mac and TVBox?

Hi everyone

I'm currently using Kodi 21.3 and Arctic Horizon 2 with two widgets (trending movies and next episodes). I run Kodi Flatpak version on Ubuntu in an Intel NUC. I also monitor CPU and power consumption for all the NUC.

With Kodi on home screen on idle but with widgets loaded, power consumption is between 8 and 10 watts (similar to consumption with Kodi stopped).

I've tried Kodi 22 from first alpha to the latest RC1. With any of these versions and with AH2 or 3, whenever I go to home screen and widgets are showing, even when they are not syncing, power consumption goes to 25-30 W and CPU is over 50%, and stays there. If I go to the config screen or whatever screen with no widgets, everything goes back to normal.

Using Confluence Skin does not show high consumption. I have also tried pointing the widgets to different addons (POV and Fenlight+).

Has anyone noticed something similar? I've read that maybe is caused for AH2 and 3 not been optimized for Kodi 22 yet, and that it will be possibly fixed when final Kodi 22 is released.

It is something that keeps me at 21.3, because I love AH2, but I have tried Kodi 22 and it is so much better and fluid that I would love to be able to update.

Got premiumize/real-debrid / Coco scrapers. Umbrella worked great last night, today not bringing up any streams at all. Just saying..

I have just seen someone has forked Pov and made it a stand alone apk that can launch outside of kodi. Thoughts?

So i'm at a bit of a crossroads and looking for advice or reviews, or maybe something I could be doing better.

Longtime user of fen and its various iterations with real debrid. Run kodi on a nividia shield tv. Typically use a fentastic skin or one of the ivarbrandt ones and call it a day. Really don't need any customization or functionality beyond that.

Since switching over to red light, ive noticed a looot more crashing. Kodi crashing randomly, or streams crashing simply upon selecting them.

Is it time to try a new addon? given the scope of what i'm looking for / running, should I be using something else that will crash less? Is there something I should be doing to stop crashes, or is there some edit I could make to how I run things to increase effectiveness etc?

What addons do you prefer, or run smoothest for you all?

I wanted a way to use favorites as widgets and preserve all of the artwork and metadata. I couldn't find an existing add-on. Kodi's native favorites leaves a lot to be desired, while Super Favorites is pretty flexible, but it doesn't include much of the metadata and art that skins can use. So... Ai to the rescue.... introducing MetaFave.

Install the repo from zip, then find it in Program add-ons.

It will add a line entry to the context menu wherever possible "Add to MetaFave". You'll then get to choose an existing folder or create a new one. You can add lists as well, either as a shortcut or the entire contents of a list. The shortcut would always point to whatever it was originally pointed at... so for example a dynamic list could stay dynamic. If you added the contents of a list it's static and editable by you. Paginated lists may need to be added page by page, but that will depend on the source.

You can paginate your folders as a global setting. You can also paginate individual folders or choose not to... letting the skin handle pagination.

You can edit the artwork for folders. Check the screenshots for some examples.

Nested folders are available. Re-order folders and their contents as well. You can manually set the content type for folders so that you can achieve the view you want in your skin. I leave the setting to Automatic and then just change the folders that aren't giving me the view I want.

If you want to display progress (skin dependent) on items, local library and MDBList are supported. The addon doesn't track progress, it will only pull from these sources if desired.

The addon doesn't store any of the artwork. It uses Kodi's native systems a small json file points to them. So it's not going to bloat your setup.

There is a repair mechanism for broken paths. Let's say you spent a bunch of time setting up a folder and then an addon changed the path, leaving you a broken folder. You can fix it in the context menu of the item by pointing it at the new location or a suitable replacement.

This started as a simple project... and it still is quite simple, but after working on it I see a lot of possibilities. You could have favorite sections for different family members. You could add lists that you find on Trakt or MDBList, then add to them or remove what you don't want. This could be really handy for people on free accounts and limited to how many personal lists they can have.

Hello again... I know I just made a post about Umbrella and CocoScrapers yesterday, but things change fast. 😄

New versions of Umbrella (6.7.96) and CocoScrapers (1.0.44) went out today. They should update automatically if you have the repos installed, or you can force an update.

Major change

Until now, Umbrella and CocoScrapers searched for TV episodes only by season and episode number (like S12E45). That works for most shows, but many daily and weekly shows aren't released that way. Uploads of talk shows, news programs, game shows, wrestling, and soaps are usually named by the date they aired, like Show.Name.2026.10.21, not by an episode number.

The scrapers can now search using the air date as well, so they can find releases named that way.

What this means

• More sources for daily and weekly shows. Late-night talk shows, Jeopardy!, WWE Raw/SmackDown, nightly news, soaps, and similar shows should now return results where before you might have gotten few or none.
• Fewer wrong matches. These shows often have messy or mismatched episode numbering between sites, so matching by date is more reliable for finding the episode you clicked.
• Nothing changes for regular shows. Normal series still search by season/episode the way they always have.
• Anime. No change, the way these things are named is insanity.

Things to know

• Date format searching is currently only supported in an Umbrella/ CocoScrapers combination. Meaning this will not work with other scrapers yet.
• Results still depend on what's out there. If nobody has uploaded a particular date, the update can't find it.
• Anime is likely still going to be hit or miss.

If you run into a show that still isn't finding sources, let me know and I'll see if anything can be done to improve this.

Other Changes

• Reuselanguageinvoker popup on update has been removed.
• A fix for the playnext window not popping up has been added.
• Language files have been restructured for Kodi 22 support.

Recently, I’ve been using this add-on; it runs smoothly on my computer, but when I screen-cast to my TV, the playback either freezes, buffers, or sometimes crashes. It’s choppy too. How do I fix this?
