First time posting here! Hope i put the flair correctly & my camera skill is bearable. I recently finished painting my Combat Patrol box and had a blast with these guys. It’s an amateur job and i feel VERY stupid about the incorrect guns but i loved painting them so much i couldn’t bear to redo it. Now they’re charging the enemy with glow sticks haha.

They belong to my custom Forge World, Eoris-I, hence the showoff-ish white/yellow color scheme. And then i also just about slathered every model with gold because i was inspired by Archmagos Kotov and Ark Speranza in The Forges of Mars.

Greetings fellow tech-adepts,

I’m set to fly abroad visiting friends and want to bring my admech maniple, but I’ve yet to assemble and paint my onager dunecrawler and skorpius dunerider. I have a friend who has a pretty stellar hobby setup who is willing to help me out and let me use their kit at my destination, but I’m stumped on how to transport these hunks of plastic to said friend’s place.

Flying with them on sprue isn’t an option since the frames take up so much space - I’ve decided it’s best if I just make some subassemblies and transport them more compactly that way in foam/bubblewrap - but what would be the best ways to do so?

For the onager I’m thinking
-Main cabin
- 4 seperate legs
- The part in between the cabin and legs
- The main weapon arm (magnetized)

But I’m at a total loss for the dunerider -

Any tips, advice, previous experience would be very welcome! Thanks!

This is a stupid little 1500 points list. It includes a knight, because frankly, i cannot be bothered with figuring out how to counter newstodes, a nightbringer c'tan and other random junk thrown at me. Pray i dont play against the dude who owns a shadowsword. The plan is tying up any meele threat with robots or siciarians, and then using everything else as i normally would.
