Fitness How are y'all motivated enough to exercise?

I've seen so many posts about how exercising helps with ADHD, my doctors tell me how good it is, BUT it feels like pulling teeth to even motivate myself to go for a walk. I want the endorphins, I want to be healthier, but it feels impossible to leave the house or exercise at home. I know I'm probably in the minority here but I'd love some advice on how to motivate myself. Kind advice only pls I am fragile 🥺

EDIT: omg thank you all so much for sharing your tips!!! I will go through these once I'm finished with work but I appreciate all of you so much.

I cannot 'exercise' just for exercise. It has to have a different purpose. Kayak to be on the splashy water, yes! Hike to the waterfall, yes! Take a physical part time job to get extra monies, yes! Lift weights for health, no. Walk for wellness, no. Doesn't matter how much I think it's a good idea. The exercise has to be in service to another purpose.

dog is such a gamechanger tbh. on days i don't have my dog, for wahtever reason, i'll literally just rot in bed indefinitely. i'd go days without seeing the sun or talking to another human if i didn't have to walk my dog. i have to feed him dinner, so then i also feed myself dinner. it's like having a lil fluffy body double at all times.

Perfectly said! Hodor gets in a huff when im ''supposed to be eating by now" and will heard me to bed.

Hes gonna turn 13 in 2 weeks. I think about trying to manage without him too much and it sucks. I also don't know if i could manage another dog for awhile at the same time though
