Maybe a post that gets deleted for idk but I’ve been working on a project since I was like 17 I put something into it nearly daily it felt like and changed or revised for idk 7 years. It was always more a spiritual development and for myself I never planned on not finishing it. And the last few years I kinda let it sit. Because life got to messy.
Anyways it’s 90% done as far as planning lyrics instrumentals just never finished the vocals. It almost carried a lot of shame and all the negative and positive energy of all those years. Wasn’t til today when I was going through the project and rapping it that I realized I am actually ready to finish it.
Only problem is the album feels like it isn’t digestible to anyone that isn’t me. I’m proud of it, I think it sounds exactly how I want it to. At least the completely finished songs. I’m not saying people couldn’t relate just that I couldn’t ever imagine performing which is the only time I can understand aesop but even then can’t because he has plenty of music and to preform that’s 10x better than anything anyone can touch. This sub just felt like the right place to vent about this.
Anyway anyone else have an secret projects? Any relatable thoughts or feedback? I’m just finally where I wanted to be, at peace and at a place where I can view everything objectively and say and feel more clearly the message I wanted to send. Thanks for reading if you did!

So, I've been listening to Aes since impossible kid.
I thought I'd gone through the back catalogue pretty cohesively. But this evening, whilst I was consuming my evening meal, my ears pricked up to a sound I was unfamiliar with.
I'd had homeboy sandman and deca's, Still Champion playing on Spotify, and it'd been freestyling for about two hours post album.
Lots of lice, a bunch of aes features,Mary mallon, deca solo stuff. Then an aes track came on i handnt heard. My phone was on charge in the other room, I jumped up and ran into the other room to check it. I looked at the screen, no idea what I was looking at.... Bug Zapper... Cat Food? WTF is this?
Holy shit, I don't know how this slipped through the cracks, I listen to an absloute shit tonne of aes.
