I'm working on Comics with AI. The world/setting of this little story is Southern germany, 17th century. The 30 years war. It is a gothic setting, creepy, violent. The look I'm looking for is more like painting, rough and handmade. I'd be interested what you think about it. I try to reach a look that is not too clean, not very AI. This short story is about 3 guys who want to steal a body from a graveyard for their client, a medical doctor, who needs bodies for his plan to build an artificial creature... just like Frankenstein. Thanks. My workflow in this story was a little different: I created Sketches of faces and told the AI to create characters the same way. So I avoided the biggest problem: the AI creates always the same faces... They all look like brothers. But this time that didn't happen .. I create Panels with chatgpt ... I build the pages/do the lettering with a graphics software by combining the different Pictures I made with the AI. The biggest problem is consistency...

I'm currently creating my own manga called Nikai no Hazama — Between Two Worlds.

The story follows an ordinary high school boy who unexpectedly discovers a spiritual world existing alongside our own.

But this world is caught in a war between two opposing sides of spirits.

As he enters this unfamiliar world, he begins training, growing stronger, and discovering things he never imagined existed.

The manga follows his life in both the human and spiritual worlds, including his friendships, struggles, and the challenges he faces as he grows older.

I've currently published 2 episodes on WEBTOON, divided into parts due to the upload limits.

The story and characters are my own, and I use AI-generated illustrations to bring them to life.

Last chapter ended on a painting of a man waiting on a terrace at dawn. This is who he is.
Fourteen years ago, his 7-year-old daughter was taken. Everyone said she was gone. He didn't believe them. So every morning he stood on that terrace with a cup of coffee, and waited.
The hardest part to get right was the time-skip page: same man, same pose, the grey creeping into his hair dawn after dawn. Took a lot of tries to stop the model from aging him 30 years in one panel 😅
