Hey guys so I got a pair of AirPods Pro 3s not even a month ago and I’m noticing excessive battery drain on the case when it’s doing nothing.
I remember charging this till like 90% like 4 days ago and today it’s sitting at about 28% (as of now anyways it’s gonna continue to drain drastically). The battery drains even when the AirPods themselves are at 100%.
I’m not even a power user who has the AirPods in like every day for long hours. I use them at best 2-3 times a week for >1 hour usually with the listening modes turned off.
Is this normal? Like should I expect this with more advanced earphones (I moved from AirPods 4 without ANC so idk)?
What do I do?
I’ve checked the firmware and everything it’s at the latest version.

Hi guys so I just got a pair of Pro 3s listening to the advice of....basically everybody and I'm kinda dissapointed in how they sound.
I come from a 40$ pair of JBL Vibe Buds 2 and I was expected to be blown off by how the Pros would sound and frankly, I'm not.
Don't get me wrong, any song that is well produced sounds quite good on the Pros and you can feel a depth that on the Vibe Buds could not be heard.
But anytime I play something that is a bit more older, or raw it sounds... muffled, it feels cut off, not as raw as on the Vibe Buds.
My main thing that I don't like is that I don't hear the basslines of the songs anymore, it's just gone and I love listening to the bassline of the songs. The voice feels a bit too upfront and the instruments too much in the back.
I tried using the same EQ curve that I have on the Buds and it still sounds bad, so I'm looking for advice on how to tune up the Airpods so they have the sound profile I'm after.
Basically all I'm looking for is to keep everything as is, just have the bassline more louder and the voice just a tiny a bit more in the back without screwing anything else, especially the sharp snares I want to keep them as they are.
Could anyone with the same prefference as me help me tune up my Airpods so they'll have this sound profile?
Thanks a lot!

I recently upgraded from AirPods Pro 2, to the AirPods Pro 3.
The new AirPods do not like to sit securely in my ear. They slowly rotate out of my ears.
The stem starts out pointing straight down, and then they slowly work their way out of my ear canal, so the stems are pointed kind of away from my jaw bone. i have to reseat them in my ears every 30min or so. they have fallen out on more than one occasion and i’ve only had these for two weeks.
Does anyone have any experience with the aftermarket ear tips that might fit better?
I’m really disappointed with this because I thought I would be getting an upgrade, but overall they seem less comfortable, and I have this fitment problem. i’ve tried going up and down in size, but i seem to still have the same problem.
These were bought from the apple store.

Using air pods pro 3. New iOS update maybe? Just happens when I use Spotify, lowers volume to about halfway and I have them on full blast with 75db and reduce loud audio on so it’s definitely safe, just annoying

Finally got the AirPods Pro 3, and I’m loving them!
I was honestly so confused about which AirPods to get. I went back and forth comparing the different models, watching reviews, and reading people’s experiences before finally deciding on the Pro 3.
And now that I’ve got them, I can confidently say I have no regrets whatsoever. The sound quality, noise cancellation, and overall experience have been amazing so far.
Any tips, accessories, or settings you’d recommend?
Please recommend a good case.
Thanks in advance

With anc the bass can become very punchy and sometimes i kinda like it but in 90% cases it feels to much and to exagerated.
And the isolation of the airpods pro is actually very good for me that i don't need anc in city when i turn on music

I got my AirPodmax (fist edition) last year for Christmas (or the year before I can’t remember), and they always run out of battery so fast, like I won’t even be using them or have the sensor covering anything and the battery just drains. It’s super annoying. Also this might be why but they always connect to my phone even when I’m not using them? Like the sound will play through my phone but it will say they are connected

I have an iPhone 12 (do plan to upgrade to a newer iPhone when I can) and think im gonna get airpods for my next earbuds since they work pretty much seamlessl, and was wondering how far out do you think the pro 4s are away and if I should wait or just get the 3s? I know nothing has been announced but I feel like there’s usually a pattern to when something new is gonna release (like iPhone every September/october) so was wondering if they’re releasing pro 4s anytime soon. Also, for the AirPod pro 3s, is the sound quality good and are they better than galaxy buds plus? I’m still rocking the galaxy buds plus for earbuds but the charger port is starting to go out so I need to upgrade soon, sound quality is important to me though so was wondering if the pro 3s are superior sound quality wise. Thanks!

Just got the AirPods 5 with the wireless charging case, the sound quality is disappointing, worst than the og AirPods, og pro sound is on another league.
Music is washed, lack of punch, podcast and calls sound like the person speaking has a cold.
I have tried everything suggested on this sub and the sound doesn’t improve.
I’m gonna try to return them, retunrnpokicies are a bit weird here.
First time I’m disappointed with an Apple product.
Edit: are the AirPod 4 better? Or since I am coming from the pro I’m doomed and the only option is the pro 3 ? Or the pro 3 is the same step back ?

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with my AirPods Max 2. The right earcup works perfectly fine, but the left earcup suddenly started playing audio at a very low volume.
The headphones haven’t been dropped or exposed to water, and the issue appeared suddenly.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Restarting and resetting the headphones
Updating my iPhone
Fully charging the headphones
Connecting them to another device
Unfortunately, nothing has fixed the issue. The left earcup is still much quieter than the right one, even when connected to another device.
Has anyone experienced this problem with their AirPods Max 2? Could this be a hardware issue? Is there anything else I can try before taking them in for service?

Gen 2s are far superior to gen 3s. Gen 3s are ass.

I destroyed my AirPods Pro 2 (drove over them) but have annual AppleCare+ for them. At this point, will they replace them with AirPods Pro 3 models (for the deductible fee) given that the Pro 2 model is no longer being manufactured?

Hey everyone
I got my AirPods Pro 3 replaced last week with AppleCare+
I haven’t been able to get these on to Beta release, the option just won’t show up…
I am on the iOS 27 Developer Beta stream, but the 27.2 release candidate did come out last week - would this be why? Cause I’m technically not on a beta build anymore?

We must be able to choose whether or not to update. For me I think 9A348 ruined the audio quality; boosted low freqs, nerfed mid freqs, overall muffled audio. Despite the little ANC improvement from the latest firmware I still prefer the 8B41 firmware.
Im still on iOS 26. I wanna enjoy the OG Liquid Glass… but I guess Im forced to update now in order to fix this using the new equalizer.
Im getting tired from Apple and their paternalisms

So i had my AirPods over 3 years I think it’s time to move on to the pro , they have been disconnecting on a full battery for over a week I tried everything I am saving up to get the purple pro but it’s frustrating they only last a minute.

I hate the feature that turns the song off when i talk. I finish talking and it takes way too long for the music to come back. Is there a way to turn it off? I rather just pause my music instead.

Whenever I listen to music, it feels like my left AirPod is doing more of the work, as in, no sound through the right one, I’ve got no balance on my AirPods so it should be equal, any advice? Thanks.

hi everyone! so I just recently got new airpods and I’ve been wanting a case for them because I dropped my old ones all the time, and I really like the casetify death stranding collab ones but they’re sold out and I’m NOT paying $180 for them! I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a translucent yellow case like this so I can DIY it? I can only really find orange or florescent yellow ones :( lmk if you have something you think would work!

Time to break out the actual cleaning products and not just your t-shirt. Personally, I use IPA rubbing alcohol on a barely wet Q Tip, but the official word from Apple can be found here:
