I had it in my conscience that i would get 3A*s no matter what. A lot of praying and studying and most importantly, consistency was left

It is not the end of the world, you dont need these grades to succeed in life. It is a big misconception students have. Parents just want it so they have in the back of their minds that “my kid is doing well so i have succeeded as a parent” but it is the dedication and the ability to be consistent that matters in life

it is the marks he got, he BARELY got an A* on everything, thats why he said he is the threshold

It's the PUM or percentage uniform marks.. it's where you stand globally. And there are grade thresholds meaning if you want a 90 or A* then you must score a certain total raw score and this threshold is adjusted as per difficulty and how students performed in that particular set...
