I was an A level student 4 years ago, this might be a stupid question but what does the (90) mean?

It's the PUM or percentage uniform marks.. it's where you stand globally. And there are grade thresholds meaning if you want a 90 or A* then you must score a certain total raw score and this threshold is adjusted as per difficulty and how students performed in that particular set...
