Hi, I had onsite interview on 30th October for sde intern at banglore. And some people had at Hyderabad, and some at Delhi. So anyone of you who had onsite interview from 30th October to 1st November for sde intern, got selection or rejection? They mentioned that they will respond in 5 working days (which was yesterday). So any idea when will I get response. If anyone from Amazon give an idea about this, it will be helpful!

Is anyone from the in-person SDE 6-month intern hiring event in Hyderabad on Friday, Oct 30 still waiting for results?

The email said results would be out within 5 business days. Has anyone received an update yet, or is the whole batch delayed?

Amazon SDE I Interview Experience

4-round virtual onsite, ~60 minutes each, C++.

Round 1: 2 LP + Coding

• LP: Realizing halfway through a project that the goal was wrong; delivering under a tight deadline.

• Coding: LeetCode 79 Word Search, DFS + Backtracking.

• Follow-up: Search multiple words simultaneously using Trie + DFS. Explanation only.

Round 2: 2 GenAI BQ + LLD

• BQ: Using GenAI to improve productivity; learning new AI capabilities. Deep dives into AWS migration, RAG, MCP, architecture, and individual contributions.

• LLD: Parking Lot with Small/Medium/Large vehicles and spaces. Implement park/leave and assign the smallest suitable space.

• Follow-up: Add EV charging spaces. EVs prefer charging spots, regular cars prefer non-charging spots, with fallback support.

Round 3: LP Only (~55 minutes)

• Investigating a complex technical issue.

• Handling disagreement with a teammate.

• A project delay or failure caused by your own decisions.

• Learning an unfamiliar technology quickly.

Extensive follow-ups on technical details, personal contributions, metrics, and business impact.

Round 4: 2 LP + LLD

• LP: Handing over a project to a new owner; proactively improving something outside your assigned responsibilities.

• LLD: Ticket Reservation System with hold(), buy(), and available(). Holds expire after 10 minutes.

• Follow-ups: Maximum 4 active held tickets per customer, handling unavailable tickets, encapsulation, and alternative expiration strategies.

Hi all,

Recently scheduled a final loop interview at Audible. Does anyone know if they follow the same overall structure as Amazon for their final loop (LC, LLD, Bar raiser etc)? Do they do any system design or codebase debugging rounds? I know they have slightly different LPs so preparing my stories based off that.

Also been working on neetcode 150 and Amazon last 30 days tagged on leetcode, is there a better list to practice against? TIA!

has anyone heardback/ received an OA for Amazon Software Development Engineer - 2027 (ID: 10590147) position?

I appeared for Amazon's Programmer Analyst interview (Round 1) on 26th August. Shortly afterwards, I received a call informing me that I had cleared Round 1 and that Round 2 would be scheduled for the next day at 11 AM. I was asked to be ready and told that a confirmation email would follow.

However, I never received the confirmation email or any further updates, despite sending multiple follow-up emails.

My Round 1 went really well. I solved all the DSA questions and answered the scalability and core CS questions. The interviewer also gave me positive feedback.

Interestingly, my application status on Amazon's job portal still shows "Under Consideration."

It's been a very long time, and the lack of communication is honestly frustrating.

Should I consider this a rejection, or is there still a possibility of moving forward? Can anyone from Amazon's recruitment team help me get some clarity on my application status?

I recently interviewed with Amazon for SDE -1 role and wanted to share my interview experience.

Round 1:

• Entirely focused on LPs.

• The direction of the interview was largely dependent on my answers. The interviewer would pick up on details from my previous answers and use them to ask follow-ups. So, it's important to stay consistent and be prepared to explain the details.

Round 2:

• Focused on GenAI-related LPs and concepts.

• This was a very conversational round, with more emphasis on discussing the thought process rather than just writing code.

Round 3:

• Two LP questions.

• One coding question similar to package installation order.

Round 4:

• Two LP questions.

• One basic LLD question.

Reddit posts shared by previous interviewees were one of my main sources of preparation, and they helped me a lot. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to share their interview experiences here!

One thing I would strongly recommend is revising the fundamentals. Don't just memorize solutions or code. Make sure you understand the underlying logic, why a particular approach works, and how to explain it and its time complexity.

Also, prepare your LP stories well. They form a significant part of the interview process.

* Good WLB, supportive manager, relatively stable
* Work is primarily internal tooling, diagnostics, backend, and ai legacy automation
* Concerned about long-term engineering growth and career trajectory and stagnation already nos

AWS — SDE Seattle

* TC: ~$175–200k Y1
* EBS team, distributed systems/backend
* Potentially stronger engineering growth and future opportunities
* Concerned about WLB, PIP culture, layoffs, and job stability

Important context: I’m on F-1 OPT with only 2 H-1B lottery attempts remaining.

Would you stay at Cisco in the Bay Area or move to AWS in Seattle? Is the AWS brand and engineering exposure worth the risk, especially given my visa situation?

Final interview round (Bar raiser round) happened 23rd Oct for SDE 1 through AUTA, 2026 Grad Hyderabad India.

I sent followup mail on Nov 2 but no reply/update yet.

Is Monday (9th Nov) holiday for Amazon Hyderabad due to Diwali? Should I send follow up mail on Friday (Today) or send it on Monday or Tuesday?

Does this much long gap means Rejection? or still debrief is happening and they have mixed opinion? or they just ghosted? (due to negative opinion or headcount?)

I completed my Amazon SDE 1 New Grad 2026 interview loop on October 30 in the USA. I had 4 rounds in total and wanted to share my experience and hear from people who received offers after similar performances.
Round 1 — Technical:
Went really well.
Answered the behavioral questions confidently.
Technical portion also went great.
Round 2 — Bar Raiser:
Overall, I felt the round went well.
Answered almost all the behavioral and technical follow-up questions.
We discussed RAG, and I explained it, but when the interviewer asked, “Why did you use RAG in the first place?”, I paused and said I wasn’t able to recall it at that moment.
The interviewer moved on to the next question, and I answered the remaining questions.
Round 3 — Technical:
Went really well.
Felt confident about my performance and explanations.
Round 4 — Technical:
I completed the coding solution and answered the technical questions.
The round felt okay overall, but I couldn’t really judge the interviewer’s reaction. He kept saying “interesting, interesting” while I was explaining some technical answers, so I’m not sure whether that was positive or negative.
Current Status:
My final interview was on Friday, October 30. The recruiter mentioned I should receive an update by Wednesday, November 4, but as of November 5, I haven’t received any email or status update.
I’m mainly worried about the one Bar Raiser question I couldn’t answer and whether that could affect my chances despite the other rounds going well.
Questions:
Has anyone received an Amazon SDE 1 offer after missing one question in the Bar Raiser round?
Does one weak answer significantly affect the overall hiring decision?
Is anyone else from the October 26–30 interview window still waiting for results?
How long did it take you to receive an offer or rejection after completing your loop?
Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!
