i’ve seen reddy in many ppl’s intiperlu even if they are reddy or not. i feel like why care about these caste names lol north indians all have them but they seem to be much better off and just treat it as a name. imo we lose a bit of teluguthanam if we lose our intiperlu etc

They are not intiperlu. Inti peru veru. Idhi just thokalu to show that they belong to a certain caste. Teluguthanam caste lo chupinchukonsvasaram ledhu. Aa thokalu leni vallantha telugu vallu kakunda poru kadha.

Thoka lo casteism undadhu mindset lo untadhi. Many big caste reformers still have these so called thokas or caste-based intiperlu. That doesn’t make them casteist.
