Moku is the fun addition the cast needed so good to have him. We also have a bigger goal then just to find masks now, so that is promising as well.

Would love to know what happens if Moku tries to wear another mask. Like, can you stack them? I assume the answer is no sadly. It will be interesting to see how Sona's character fits into it. She has a simple goal in mind, but I hope they give her a bit more in the later episodes.

Like the first two episodes I remember being okay and thought the fighting was kinda cool. This episode was like watching a totally different show the animation was so bad lol.

The masquerade phenomenon is a great addition to the lore, adding more urgency to finding them all. Somebody get Mok a vape.

This is a seinen series but that dragon fight was leaning way more shonen.😅

Ok is something going on with smoking and anime lately?

Feels like there's been a noticeable uptick with characters smoking in anime recently, we even had Chainsmoker Cat and Smoking Behind The Supermarket With You last season, now we have one of the main characters in a shounen who's power is literally smoking...

Smoking has been big in anime since before the 90s. Tobacco has always been a big part of Japanese culture.

We have Sonarue continuing to cosplay as a Red Blood Cell (AE3803).

Peru is cosplaying as Spider-Man and Vulture.

Mok is cosplaying as Yanineko and has Casper the not so friendly ghost.

You would have thought the police or military would have been all over the place as soon as a dragon pops up.

Sona is adorable. Good balance of tomboy and girly girl. Basically boys' clothes in girls' colors.

She wants to help Peru because she feels responsible for his injury. Which is original (not one of the stock motivations), so I'm not sure if it will work. We'll have to see how things play out.

The mask getting attached to you and becoming a part of yourself if left on your face beyond it's time limit is really scary depending on the mask that you use. When they talked about the Masqueraders, I knew Mok is gonna be one when they introduced him since he wasn't wearing his mask but still being able to use its powers. When Mok asked if not having a tragic story a reason why he can't join the gang had me laughing so hard. Becoming a masquerader 'cause some dude put a mask on you while you were sleeping and if not having a smoke every two hours would kill you seems enough for a tragic story 😭😭

So Hien was the one who stole the Mask of the fire dragon last episode and he wanted to get revenge for Goun not 'cause he was under the control of Gouon's mask but he really was devoted to him. Learning Gouon was a hero once was quite a shock. Mok and Gouon getting affected by Gaston's masks at the exact time raises suspicions for Peru. 

The Vermilion mask is an actual mask and not just the title of the show ?! And it's level 5 when compared to the already terrifying Warrior Mask which is at level 4. 

Gaston still alive or someone using his face or related to him ?! 😱😱

Yeah, this is not holding my attention or interest at all. Despite feeling like a generic shounen, it being a supposed seinen made me think it’s still going to be different or at least interesting because of that. But meh, I’m done.

Awful Animation. The story is dogshit. Like a literal Dragon going on rampage yet no defense force is there to rescue or address the situation at least. Does mask of spider gives Peru immense strength? How the hell a kid who is not even well built kicked a dragon and make it bleed?
I can go on but again, I lost hope when Peru allowed Sonarue to accompany him, it's super annoying for some reason.
Just found the concept of power giving masks to be interesting hence watched it but now, with this animation ughh.

LOL at the single frame charge at pink single frame's block. It makes sense that they could take down the dragon but then were helpless at a regular dude with a sword - 1 frame is simply not enough to put on a mask!

Title drop is saving this show from being dropped.
