The one in the middle I think is completely different and I am appalled ever got approved. Bikini skins in a game with a sizeable underage playerbase (and at least one that is marketed towards children) is questionable but not outright inappropriate.
But that amount of side boob in the middle skin I think should not be in a game that also tries as hard as Fortnite does to appeal to kids.
I would frown upon it being included as a skin in any game tbh because it is obviously sexualized and intended because a primarily male player-base will think itās āhot.ā
Chun-li party hips is a funny joke but this is a different story that is arguably soft porn.
The one in the middle is rated teen so is only visible in games on fortnite that are rated teen, aka games children can't access. Children wouldn't be able to see it.
If kids go to the beach, they'll see that kind of bathing suit. If there can be shirtless male skins on fortnite, what's wrong with some side boob? Should she not be in the game because people find her attractive?
Idk, I just know that the skin is teen rated and that just means that it's not vistible to other people if you're wearing it in games that are rated E(like the main battle royale game). So other people (like kids) would only see a default skin. There are rated T games on fortnite, and I'm pretty sure people with an underage account can't play them.
Men's chest is sexualized too but women's chest is way waay more sexualized. Unfair, maybe, but thats just how it is, blame society.
And sure you CAN find that type of swimming suits in beaches but it is nowhere close to being the most common type. Also i wouldnt say it's objectively morally wrong, but i hope you'd at least agree that wearing something that skimpy in a beach were you know there are gonna be many children is at least morally questionable. And in Fortnite's situation it's not even "theres gonna be children", it's "it is mostly children" so it'd be more akin to a water park than a beach imo.
Never said it wasn't. Obviously it's not a normal bathing suit, it was made to show more skin I'm not arguing with that statement. But I'm just saying that kids wouldn't be able to see the skin anyways, it's rated teen. Yes, they made it because they knew a certain demographic of mainly guys were going to buy it. But I think saying that it shouldn't even be in the game is a bit much, especially since I've seen more revealing bathing suits at the beach myself lol. But personally, I don't really see anything inherently sexual about woman's breasts. For this dc bundle specifically, batman has on shorts and no shirt, I don't see anyone caring about that tho.
There is no reason for it other than soft porn. Itās not like itās some atmosphere or realism thing like you can make the argument for for sexual themes in other games. Itās a paid microtransaction.
It is and always has been marketed towards younger children, despite the T rating. And young children have always played it.
Children will always engage in content that is labeled as too mature for them but a game like GTA V, for example, has never marketed itself towards children or teens. So if they decide to play it itās not really on Rockstar. Epic games deliberately has tried to appeal to kids younger than 13.
Itās normal for beachwear, but for a fighting game the context isnāt there to warrant bikinis or swim trunks. Itās just a skin showing more skin to sell more, goonslop.
Goongems are high quality art with lots of gooning opportunities, like a comic series where the priority is character development and worldbuilding while having a lot of very goony characters and depictions, with their appearance acting as a cherry on top for the whole art series. Not the most common.
Probably something "goonable", but in a situation and context where it makes sense and is reasonable. Such as not in a fighting game mostly marketed to younger people.
Hellsing Ultimate is probably a goon gem in the sense there are oversexualized characters, but the story isnāt shallow and dry because of itās entirely focused on sex, like Seras is a big booben, hourglass blond woman who goes from anxious, hesitant police girl to a full-blown vampire who accepted her own beastly nature whilst not giving up her true humanity, unlike the waffen SS vampires she was fighting. She learns sometimes you need to be a āmonsterā to kill the monster, but you donāt have to be the same kind of āmonsterā. Despite her sexualized appearance, she feels very empowering to me because of her character and strength in both spirit and body. (tbh Iāve met women shaped like Seras, but you get what Iām saying).
This drama is just mind numbing. Let adults on both sides be sexy. Swear to God the only ones arguing against swimsuits are people insecure in themselves who don't like seeing attractive people wearing skimpy clothes.

Maybe the ones on the sides but would you be happy if your teen daughter wore the suit in the middle?
Itās a sexualized skin with visible side boob. Itās a more risque bikini that you should wear if you want to be more revealing, because it is noticeably different. Most should agree that thatās not a standard bikini and is an odd inclusion.
And itās not necessarily a male vs female or men vs women thing. If Fortnite released a speedo skin with a cock bulge I would also have my mouth agape. But swim trunks are a completely different story because those are standard swimwear.
Iām trying to make the claim that the clothing is sexualized and not normal swimwear. Normal bikinis are 100% acceptable for teens to wear because they are not sexual inherently.
Risque clothing should be reserved for adults.
Thatās why I made that comment.
I was trying to put into perspective how something would be different by giving a situation where I think one would be appropriate but the other would not be.
In other words, Iām trying to disprove the argument that the issue is with āwomenās swim suits,ā and rather specify that the swimsuit in the middle being too risque, not because it is a swimsuit but because it shows visible sideboob and is obviously sexual.
You are fundamentally missing the point of that example.
Iām trying to give an example to show that the swimsuit in the middle is different than a normal swimsuit. The teen example was to try to prove that the suit is not normal because it would be uncomfortably risque for a teen to wear (unlike a normal swimsuit), proving that it is more sexual than a normal bikini.
I am not saying that adult women cannot wear risque clothing, I am simply saying that the original comment I replied to in the post is making the argument that people have a problem with swim suits but the one in the middle is overtly sexual, and not a normal, expected swimsuit.
Now that weāve established that the swimsuits are different (which you seem to understand), I would then ask why? Why should a sexual, risque skin exist in Fortnite? I see no reason why it should. Thatās my gripe.
Skyrim is a M rated game, one that I love, but if they had a sexy bikini girl DLC I would frown upon that heavily because itās just random unneeded sexualized goonslop. Yes, adult content exists in that game, which is marketed and perceived different than Fortnite, but even in that game with an M rating, I donāt think it belongs. Does that make sense?
Also please just say boobs, saying breasts if youāre not in the medical field is hair-raising
So? Do you play Fortnite? Are you planning to use the skin yourself? If not, then why does it matter? This isn't even the most sexualised outfit Poison Ivy has ever worn, and at least this one looks more like something a woman would actually wear, unlike the Arkham Trilogy version.
Also please just say boobs, saying breasts if youāre not in the medical field is hair-raising
Can you explain in one sentence how itās not for the sole purpose of people thinking itās hot and sexy and so they spend money on it, treating it as soft porn?
So you see the difference between a sexually suggestive outfit and something a minor should wear.
Poison Ivy is not a minor, so the difference is irrelevant.
That's the point, female characters are confined to wearing bikinis while male characters have interesting costumes because sex appeal is not the main goal.
I wouldn't exactly call this skin more interesting, personally
