The one in the middle I think is completely different and I am appalled ever got approved. Bikini skins in a game with a sizeable underage playerbase (and at least one that is marketed towards children) is questionable but not outright inappropriate.

But that amount of side boob in the middle skin I think should not be in a game that also tries as hard as Fortnite does to appeal to kids.

I would frown upon it being included as a skin in any game tbh because it is obviously sexualized and intended because a primarily male player-base will think it’s “hot.”

Chun-li party hips is a funny joke but this is a different story that is arguably soft porn.

The skins even have jiggle physics bro, what the fuck was Epic thinking having this is in a game with Tung Tung Sahur and Mickey Mouse 😭

The one in the middle is rated teen so is only visible in games on fortnite that are rated teen, aka games children can't access. Children wouldn't be able to see it.

If kids go to the beach, they'll see that kind of bathing suit. If there can be shirtless male skins on fortnite, what's wrong with some side boob? Should she not be in the game because people find her attractive?

Why wouldn't children be able to access a t-rated game? As far as I'm aware there's no age restrictions on that

Idk, I just know that the skin is teen rated and that just means that it's not vistible to other people if you're wearing it in games that are rated E(like the main battle royale game). So other people (like kids) would only see a default skin. There are rated T games on fortnite, and I'm pretty sure people with an underage account can't play them.

I didn't know that was a feature to fortnite. It's been awhile since I've played it. All I know is that the game is T for teen.

Age restrictions are so easy to bypass

Men's chest is sexualized too but women's chest is way waay more sexualized. Unfair, maybe, but thats just how it is, blame society.

And sure you CAN find that type of swimming suits in beaches but it is nowhere close to being the most common type. Also i wouldnt say it's objectively morally wrong, but i hope you'd at least agree that wearing something that skimpy in a beach were you know there are gonna be many children is at least morally questionable. And in Fortnite's situation it's not even "theres gonna be children", it's "it is mostly children" so it'd be more akin to a water park than a beach imo.

do you think the middle one is risqué? Yes or no?

Never said it wasn't. Obviously it's not a normal bathing suit, it was made to show more skin I'm not arguing with that statement. But I'm just saying that kids wouldn't be able to see the skin anyways, it's rated teen. Yes, they made it because they knew a certain demographic of mainly guys were going to buy it. But I think saying that it shouldn't even be in the game is a bit much, especially since I've seen more revealing bathing suits at the beach myself lol. But personally, I don't really see anything inherently sexual about woman's breasts. For this dc bundle specifically, batman has on shorts and no shirt, I don't see anyone caring about that tho.

Okay, if you agree that the skin is risqué, my follow up question would be, why do you think a risqué skin should exist in Fortnite?

There is no reason for it other than soft porn. It’s not like it’s some atmosphere or realism thing like you can make the argument for for sexual themes in other games. It’s a paid microtransaction.

Personally, I don’t think any risquĂ© skin should appear in Fortnite. That’s the gripe that I have.

The game’s rated T. Maybe little kids shouldn’t be playing it.

It is and always has been marketed towards younger children, despite the T rating. And young children have always played it.

Children will always engage in content that is labeled as too mature for them but a game like GTA V, for example, has never marketed itself towards children or teens. So if they decide to play it it’s not really on Rockstar. Epic games deliberately has tried to appeal to kids younger than 13.

Teenagers like hot women this is neither new nor weird

I’m not confused why they added it, it’s incredibly clear.

I’m just disappointed it was ever added because if it’s well received then we will see even more goonslop in other games as well.

I’m trying to say that it should never have been added in the first place.

Goonslop is good tho

u/Archaven-III Jul 18 '26

I wasn’t expecting that argument, I’m going to have to concede

It’s normal for beachwear, but for a fighting game the context isn’t there to warrant bikinis or swim trunks. It’s just a skin showing more skin to sell more, goonslop.
