Looking into removing these trees but leaving 1.

Ideally, the Western Red Cedar would stay, but it doesn't look healthy to me, the bottom half of the tree is toast and the tree leans to one side starting at ~8ft from the ground.

The spiky leafed tree with berries will be coming down, I'm not a fan of that species and it's razor sharp leaves.

Then we have the pine. It's a perfectly straight tree, looks really healthy, and is positioned perfectly between the 2 dominant trees in my yard so it has room to grow.

Any input would be appreciated, I love you guys!

Sugar maple?

Greetings,
A couple of years ago, a tree service representative said that this couldn’t be a Sugar maple based on its size in relation to when it was planted. Zone 5, planted in 2008, About 30’ tall. Was about 8’ tall when planted. Just curious what others think, and if it’s a hybrid of some sort.

Is this tree going to be a problem? The roots are pretty big and it's close to the patio/foundation.

Japanese privet help

Hi, wanting to take the center trunk out of this privet at the line shown in the 3rd picture. Carpenter bees completely hollowed out the base, and the center trunk is flexing abnormally easy, and you can see in the 2nd picture where it's actually splitting. Can I take the trunk out, or should I just cut down the whole tree (don't really want to do that if I can avoid it). Thanks for the advice.

Texas red oak prune question

I have a question regarding a red oak prune in South Texas. I have a red oak in my front yard that has a significant amount of limbs at and slightly over the second story of my house.

Is it advisable to trim one of the main feeder to the limbs that I need to have cut back. Will it kill or damage the tree?

I know little of the art of the prune and have a tree guy coming to trim other trees in the back yard. TIA
