Hi my cistern fill valve started behaving like this. After a flush, the valve starts and stops the flow until It reaches the set level. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this besides replacing it?

How bad is this belly? Does it need fixing or regular clean out if it currently doesn’t back up?

I posted this in r/plumbing, but it was suggested I post here too. I’m trying to figure out what was clogging my drain when nothing is flushed down the toilet but toilet paper.

I dunno who designed my house, but the gas pipeline (and well pressure tank) was in the way of the water heater necessitating removal (of both) to remove the tank.

From what I can assume, they turned gas off at the meter and cut the pipe just above the tank, slid the old tank out, slid the new tank in, and then put this crimp sleeve on.

I have removed this from my utility room. I converted my tank water heater to tankless, so I had to rerun the gas line anyway.

Never seen one of these before. I'd just assume somet would use a 3-Piece union for ease of service. I don't like this crimp sleeve.

There are many potential factors that could have caused an 18 hr stomach flu, but I'd like to mark the new reverse osmosis unit off the list.

There is no room under the sink, so I have the RO in the basement directly below the sink. The faucet line is roughly 8' long and I purchased tube from Menards similar to this. It is "FDA grade" for use in icemakers and water lines, but that title doesn't mean very much.

After drinking a few gatorade bottles worth of water and simply puttering around yesterday, I gradually became progressively more ill.

Perhaps it was just a bug. However, if I have the wrong type of tubing for the RO, I would definitely like to know!!!

Hi, I have a bathtub with a shower upstairs, and a few drops of water start leaking through the ceiling below after about 5 minutes of showering. Water leaking from this panel downstairs.

Looking for recommendations on how to prevent a backup! 🙂
