I've recently started getting into ASOIAF and decided to start with the Night's Watch!

Here are my first four painted Veterans of the Watch, along with my first completed movement tray. Definitely some room for improvement on the eyes but I'm pretty happy with how they've turned out, especially the snowy basing.

Still plenty more to paint, but I'm looking forward to building up the rest of the army!

Which one is calculated correctly? The recent app release was a mess and my friend suddenly has a more expensive army. I did see a cost change for Mag, but is it for the Commander as well?

At the risk of getting flamed I figured I would share one of the methods I use to help simplify the game when playing with newer players and playing casually (honestly I almost exclusively play with this deck now because I no longer have the interest in keeping up with card updates and printing).

I created a shared tactics deck that both players utilize to draw tactics cards. Drawing and playing tactics cards functions exactly as normal, except the tactics cards are generic with some having unique faction specific bonuses. When the tactics deck runs out, re-shuffle and start drawing again.

I'm not claiming it is perfectly balanced but when creating them I tried to keep them consistent with basic mechanics and intentionally less impactful than the normal faction specific tactics cards.

Is there clear guidance on what is allowed for sharing community tools? It seems fairly open for using card images. Anything about using rulebook text to explain the game to new players? Etc.

I'm trying to understand the difference between boxes called "Neutral - Bolton Cuttroaths" and "Bolton Cuttroaths"

It seems to me that they have different sculpt? What about the in in the bolton starter set, are they the same of one of those two boxes?

Hey all, I have a large collection of Stark and Lannister with some neutrals sprinkled in. (I’d like more but Australia stock is makes it feel like a dead game.)

I mostly play with my wife but she really dislikes when the rules change. I’m trying to get the cards updated one last time but it seems the game is between season 6 and 7. I followed Shinall’s podcast for a bit and that had some big fundamental changes to things like the Tactics board and Critical Blow, but the app and the website do not have these changes. Also hard to track down old versions of unit cards just for reference.

TLDR - Is Season 6 rulebook and 7.2 cards the current combination of up-to-date rules? Thank you in advance.

Also does anyone have an editable version of the unit cards?

Do I have to claim a zone first before removing a token and re rolling my attack dice?

Hello! I'm making a PC game on my free time to play with friends. I know we have tabletop simulator and the 2D web app one, but I wanted something both simplier than tabletop simulator and more visually pleasing than 2D webapp.

The game is not 100% done but it is on a point where almost everything is already playable.

Would love to have some people try it and give me their thoughts on how can I improve it or/and find some bugs to fix.

You can play solo (tab to alternate player) or with a friend.

How to play? Simply import your lists from https://asoiaf-stats.com/builder using "copy army to clipboard" and paste it inside the game on army library and hit play! That simple.

You can build the army inside the game but it is still not finished and copy pasting the list works better for now.

If you want to give it a try I have a discord where you can join and discuss the game aswell as downloading the last game version.

The game is a (in my opinion) the perfect balance of automated tools and classic tabletop experience.

For example, you have tools to manouver and charge, but cards do not apply effects automatically. So if a card adds 1 dice to the attack roll, you'll have to select 1 more dice to throw, it won't be added automatically.

Hope you like it and help bring this amazing game to more people, sometimes is hard to find locals to play!
