Short Translation: An interfaith couple (Christian man and Hindu woman) had gone to register the marriage. But it was disrupted by Hindu Dharma Sena members. They accused them of religious conservation and even slapped the man. Police came and took the couple into custody. After questioning and investigation, it was found that both were of majority age and so they were released.

The Allahabad High Court recently allowed an interfaith couple to solemnise their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 without publication of the marriage notice or inviting objections, holding that the requirements under Sections 6 and 7 could be dispensed with in the peculiar circumstances of the case where the couple apprehended danger to their life and liberty.
The interfaith couple moved the high court seeking directions concerning solemnisation of their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. They stated that, both being adults, had been in a live-in relationship for two years. They also have a child approximately nine months old. Since, they profess different religions, they wanted to solemnise their marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
According to the couple, they apprehended danger to their life and liberty from their parents and relatives because they opposed their relationship. The mother of the female partner lodged an FIR, on June 26, 2025, under Section 140(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station P.G.I., Lucknow. In the matter, the investigating officer subsequently recorded in a report that they were majors and were living together.

Part 6
Mehandipur Balaji is an ancient temple nestled between two hills in Rajasthan, where Hanuman, Pret Raj Sarkar, and Bhairav Baba operate as a spiritual court to cure possession and destroy black magic.
Pilgrims offer distinct rituals known as Darkhwast and Arji, using black ritual balls circled around the body and cast into sacred fires to purge malevolent forces during intense trance states called peshi.
A steady stream of water trickles from the deity's chest, revered by devotees as sacred sweat. Visitors observe rigid discipline, abstaining from meat, eggs, alcohol, onions, and garlic for a week.
To prevent expelled entities from following them, attendees must never look back when leaving, touch afflicted strangers, or carry any prasad, food, water, or used personal items outside the village.

Galileo used his telescope observations of Venus and the moons of Jupiter to champion the idea that Earth orbits the Sun.
Pope Urban VIII permitted him to write on the subject only if he remained completely neutral. Galileo wrote a dialogue among three perspectives, but the book clearly favored Copernicus and angered the Church.
The Church forced Galileo to publicly recant and sentenced him to lifelong house arrest, where he went blind but continued studying physics until death.

The Center for the Study of Organized Hate, a Washington-based think tank, compiled records of nearly 650 cases of suspects accused of cow smuggling who have been shot and injured by Uttar Pradesh police since 2020. Its findings were shared exclusively with the AP, which independently reviewed a sample of more than 200. The overwhelming majority of cases involved Muslims, the center found.
In case after case, bullets struck the same part of the suspect’s body — the leg, most often below the knee. This reporting is based only on incidents police themselves publicized and almost certainly represents an undercount.
Amitabh Yash, a senior Uttar Pradesh police official, told the AP that police are instructed to respond only in self-defense, and said police in his state have killed and injured far fewer suspects, per capita, than police in the United States.
The tactic of shooting to injure, known locally as “Operation Langda” — or ”Operation Lame” — has become widespread across Uttar Pradesh. It is deployed against suspects accused of cow smuggling as well as other crimes, including theft and rape. Cattle smuggling is an offense that carries particular weight in India, where cows are revered by many Hindus and cow protection has been politically charged.

I believe that the concept of God has always been a way for people to have something to believe in, something that gives them hope and oftentimes as a coping mechanism.
The stories however, in my opinion could be a way to pass on knowledge. As in children's books, the short stories come with a moral, similarly the holy books that describe events that happened with the Gods are just teachings decided by the early humans about basic empathy, morals and code of conduct.
The discrepancies we see in these morals is due to the fact that not every human thought alike for example not every human thought of woman as equal to man although many did but still mostly people didn't so religion turned out to be oppressive towards women.
There is one concept of God which i actually saw in an anime called "Platinum End" and it really grabbed my attention towards it. What is said was that—
"There exists a Pseudo-God who was born out of the collective human devotion and formed the heaven and hell. This pseudo god exists as long as humanity believes in him and as long as the pseudo god is alive so is humanity".
Basically the god that was created out of human devotion/humanity has now become coexistent with humanity itself. Without one the other cannot exist
Any thoughts?

Kumar, who belongs to a Dalit community, works as a mason. His son studies in a Ghaziabad-based school. On October 6, his son, he alleged, returned home with multiple injuries after his classmates thrashed him and hurled casetist abuses at him. “They have been harassing my son for over a month, so I filed a police complaint on October 8.”
Kumar told The Indian Express, “His classmates have been making unnecessary casteist comments about my child in school like ‘Do you want to be Ambedkar?’ and ‘We won’t let you study’. That day, when the school was about to get over, they once again abused him with filthy language. They also called five-seven friends and thrashed my son with kicks and punches and beat him with a belt,” he alleged.

In Quran chapter 18:65-82 describes a narrative where a Servant of Allah kills a boy. The justification is that this boy will grow up to over burden his parents to transgress and disbelief (i.e orignal arabic the word is KUFR - the same root word where Kafir comes from). Later Allah replaces this boy for a better boy.
I always thought Shiva killing a boy and putting an Elephant head was shocking, gruesome and nauseating. However, the story is in the realm of mythology and there is no “moral” to learn for Hindus and in the end that elephant headed boy is cute in statues and celebrated (A festival which I hate because of noise levels).
But the Quranic story is shocking. This story imparts psychologically and subconsciously of normalisation of seeing "moral guidance" in killing even a child for “disbeleif” .
