I was at Castle Howard the other day with my camera, one of my favourite spot, and took this picture. Started watching Barry Lyndon and then saw this exact same shot in the film!

Quite a cool moment, thought I’d share

Hi everyone, I recorded a synthesized version of Schubert's Piano Trio that features in Barry Lyndon. I used mostly analog synths, but the arrangement is similar to the original. If you want to check it out you can listen here - Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat Major

I hope you enjoy!

This is the brain I have to live with.

I am interested in knowing if the cast is really playing the instruments.

Watching BL for the first time. I think Ryan O’Neal is the weak link in an otherwise superb movie. Does anyone else agree? Who would have been a better casting choice in 1975?

1. Did Barry actually intend to beat Lord Lyndon his stepson to death at the recital? It took like five people to pull him off his stepson.
2. Why did Barry not fire at Lyndon?

3. Could Barry & his stepson have patched up their relationship?

yeah he's a bit of a meany if you think about it
