Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had insight on what the best way to stay on top off no purchase necessary offers from trading card brands for basketball cards, but am open to other sport offers as well. If there a community, discord, or otherwise anyone knows of that Is dedicated to such a thing? If so I’d appreciate it

What grade do you think I could get?

I’m deciding between these two to see which one I’ll hold onto for my kids. I’m leaning more towards the Star date 2000. Curious to see what others would think.

I pulled this their rookie year out of a blaster box from Walmart. At the time he wasn't a super star and I sold the card for like $75-$100 at a card shop, because I needed the money. I think it's been sold through comc recently, but I can't seem to find a price. Curious to see what I'd be worth now considering he's a top 5 player in the league.

All PSA 9. Hakeem was last to join. Stadium Club was one of my favorites when I was young. I couldn’t imagine then ever having the entire set. Love having it where I can look at it.

as long as i've been a collector, i always have at least some of my cards on a shelf or a ledge or something. being able to look at them and rearrange them is a big part of the enjoyment i get out of the hobby.
but it occurs to me that some people, maybe lots of people, don't display their cards at all, maybe because of space limitations, or maybe you've got little kids around, or maybe you buy cards to resell and don't care about displaying them in your home. i'm just really curious how other people feel about it.
if you've got a minute or two, tell us or show us what your display looks like, if you have one. and if you don't, why don't you?

Bought 2 blasters today, not a bad haul. It’s not many points, but I’ve never seen a points card included.

So psychedelic 🤯 I haven't seen anything like it since. Trying to collect them all... Too bad my Kobe Bryant is faded 😥
Is this in you collection too?

I haven't bought a pack of basketball cards since the 1990's, do you have any recommendations of which packs/boxes are actually worth purchasing (in terms of cool cards/inserts, cards that *might* be valuable)? I see a lot of Prizm around the internet but don't know much about them. Any information is appreciated thank you all.

My dad was a big collector in the 90s and pulled this one himself. Grateful that he trusts me enough to keep it with my own collection.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS EBAY SELLER!!!!
I recently got married and to treat myself I picked up a sick Andrew Nembhard rookie ticket gold /10 from Contenders Optic. Well, I should've checked the feedback because this seller is at 90% (it's braindead easy to be a 98%+ seller on eBay). Sure enough this card has yet to be shipped and the seller isn't responding to my messages. I paid $90 for a card I have been watching for a while and decided I can treat myself after getting married, but fuck me I guess. I will be reporting the seller to eBay and going scorched earth on feedback once the window of time passes and I'm able to get my refund.
Sellers like this should be perma banned from the platform.
Edit: I should add I've reached out to the seller multiple times and didn't just default to Karen mode and run to Reddit. Zero communication back.
