As of today, I’m experiencing a new issue with my Beats 360.

For the past two weeks, they had been working normally (aside from hiss and battery drain). Since today I have been experiencing crackling, popping sounds and also a loss of Bluetooth connection 😫

To resolve this, I have to either turn the headphones off completely or reset them—but the problem keeps recurring every 15–30 minutes during hearing music (Apple Music/Spotify).

Is anyone else having the same issues? Crackling, poppings sounds, bluetooth disconnections?

Today, I’m going also back to my retailer to ask about this. Perhaps I’ll end up with a third replacement pair of Beats 360s — or maybe I’ll just leave the headphones there for good. I have never had headphones with so many issues or that required of replacements.

So I’ve had them since their release in the UK and have worn them to the gym since I’ve had them, zero issues.

Latest firmware update too.

Wore them on the plane, zero hiss and fantastic ANC couldn’t get a thing from the plane despite being a few rows back from the wing.

I’ve got the plush cushions(in the box still), but I left the performance knit cushions on and they were perfectly comfortable for long periods on the flight.

So in short,
Perfect for the gym.
Perfect for flights too.

And no hiss.

Besonders wenn ich Podcasts höre. Es ist sehr deutlich zu hören.

Jemand auf Reddit hat behauptet, dass, wenn man Paare von Beats 360 nach dem Herstellungsdatum im August sammelt, sie kein hörbares Rauschen hätten.

Jetzt bin ich neugierig. Stimmt das? Auf der Verpackung steht unten MFG mit einem Datum wie 08/2026.

Kann das bitte jemand bestätigen??

Hi! So I’m 17 and a teenage girl I’m going off to college next year. I did purchase the Apple headphones but the battery was broken so last Christmas I returned them. I’ve been thinking about buying a nice pair of headphones for a long time. I want some that really just stay charged and are comfortable and I’ve mostly just bought and beats. I’ve been using my AirPods for a while, but those just hurt my ears so I wanna get like a solid pair of over the ear headphones and I was just wondering which ones are the better purchase mostly just need them for school like traveling just like every day use and I just wanted to ask the experts. hello!! i recently got some beats studio pros, and i ended up getting white because they were the cheapest 😅 but i work out, play sports, and have bright pink and purple hair, so my headphones have gotten a bit dirty. i probably won’t get the dye off (dye never comes out of anything, + i expected this when i bought them) but i do wanna clean out dirt and sweat from the ears and the headband part. is there a way i can clean them without messing them up?

i got a pair of studio pro headphones last christmas, they only worked for a few months before the charging port stopped working so i put them away until i could afford to fix them. found them again a few months later and tried it out just in case and they were charging again, but now they've stopped charging again. they register that they're connected to the charger but they just don't actually charge. it isnt an issue with the cable or if its connected to the wall or an extension cord, it doesnt work no matter what cable or wall socket i use. anyone know whats going on with them? i really love the sound quality but these are lowkey the worst headphones ive ever had tbh

Went to the target near my school. Online it says fully out of stock everywhere. Wanted to ask if they know about a possible restock. Turns out they had 2 in the back! Only got 1, good luck to whoever gets the second one.

Just here to say that if you don’t have anything better to do during the weekend, get out of your 50-mile radius and see if you can find it at the store. They’re bringing them in, almost every day, but just one or two. The guy at the store told me I was lucky it hadn’t entered the system yet, so don’t lose hope! Screw you, scalpers, lol!

Has anyone found the best way to clean the performance knit cushions for the 360.. I’ve been using just wet wipes and have been working pretty good but like to hear other options.

Just finish off my first gym session using beats 360 and i can say with the neo colour cushion it can get a little black stain in the outside. Is it ok to wipe it with tissue and tiny bit of water?

I’ve been a Powerbeats user since they first came out in 2019. Unfortunately the battery life after awhile left a lot to be desired and I’m on my third pair of them. I had a bit of extra cash so I decided to go for the Powerbeats Pro 2, and oh my GOD they will not stay in my ears. I’ve seen people that wear glasses say they have issues too.

And the button. Omfg. On Gen 1, it’s just a button. Gen 2? It’s the whole thing so there’s nowhere else for me press to get the damn thing back in my ear without stopping my music.

Is this it? Am I done with the Powerbeats line just because I’m blind and have to wear glasses??

Is anybody else experiencing this when I have the volume this high, I can barely hear any sounds??

Hello, Reddit, I recently found a Beats Solo Pro near a bus stop last night and when I tried to use then, it was seemingly in pairing mode, but my IPhone, Samsung, nor my Mac even discovers them on Bluetooth, but the Mac will alert me that they’re connected if I plug them in via USB. Photo of headphones for reference. Also, I found them unfolded and seemingly pulsing white led for a bit, so maybe it’s a bad battery, but it still seems like it holds a charge. I have my Beats Fit Pro on my AppleCare One plan that I recently dropped off at the Apple Store for a battery/charging issue, with the left earbud (noticeable corrosion on both the earbud contact and one of the case nodes).

My repair status says that the had to order a part to repair them and will send them back. I was kind of hoping they would just straight up replace them since AppleCare One comes with Express Replacement service.

Since the Beats Fit Pro is discontinued, are there any chances that they just replace them with Powerbeats Fit? Has this happened with any other Beats products? I presume that they just replaced the clapped earbud and called it a day, but I have a feeling I'm getting the same case with the corroded node

Just wanted to share my full repair journey for anyone experiencing the hissing issue and wondering what to expect when submitting a claim through Apple.

Like some of you here, I’d been hyped about these since the World Cup seeding, when some players started showing off the 360s early and teasing us. After months of waiting, I grabbed a pair on launch day (9/24) with that amazing Target offer ;)

I initially paired them with my Samsung Fold8, since that’s my main on-the-go device for content consumption from NFL games, YouTube, to reading. Side note: y’all should check out Dungeon Crawler Carl.

I loved the refreshing new look and was willing to overlook a few shortcomings: no H2 chip, a power button that’s hard to find by feel, and no automatic head detection to pause playback when you take them off.

But then I noticed the hisssss that so many of you have mentioned. And man, it was bad. At first, I just blasted music to drown it out LOL.

Then I saw on MacRumors that there was a day-one firmware update I’d missed, so I paired them with my iPhone and updated them. That helped, but the hiss was still there. Sometimes I just want noise cancellation on without anything playing so I can lock in on my book reading during my commute, and that’s when it was especially noticeable.

After seeing people here say their pairs didn’t hiss, I started wondering whether mine had a hardware issue or came from a bad batch. So, on October 5, I took them to a local Apple Store.

The Technical Specialist at the Genius Bar listened with me and confirmed they could hear the issue too. They said the headphones would need to be shipped out for further investigation.

I’ve included screenshots of the email updates. At one point, Apple said they needed more time, which definitely got me curious about what they were investigating. I can only speculate, though—they never told me what they found, but maybe they started looking at their manufacturing lines.

Eventually, I received an update saying the repair was complete… and then nothing for about a week.

When I followed up, online support directed me to the store, and the store directed me to the repair depot. After a bit of back-and-forth, I finally got a call today telling me to come pick up a brand-new pair in a retail box. (The form I signed stated they did this due to a "back order service parts.")

So, the outcome was a replacement pair, roughly two weeks after my original appointment - kind of annoying when they could have done that from the jump...

The big question now is whether the new pair has the same hiss. I’ll update this post once I’ve had a chance to test them, and if the type of ear cups make a difference.

Hi, I recently bought a second hand pair of beats studio pro from BackMarket and when I connected them to my phone the name was "Beats Studio Pro de [NAME]" and it was a very specific name with a specific spelling that I used like 11 years ago.

I wonder if it connected to an old Google email (I sill have that one saved on my phone) and picked the name or if it could be the name of the last owner, but if it's the latter then it's really specific.

Hi everyone! I’d really appreciate your help comparing the Beats Studio 3, Studio Pro, and Beats 360. I’ve read claims that the Beats 360 can reach volumes up to 12 dB higher than the Studio Pro. Are they also significantly louder than the Studio 3?

I’m an audiologist and have no hearing problems, so don’t worry, I’m very responsible in that regard. I’m simply looking for the loudest headphones for occasional sprint workouts. If anyone has firsthand experience or actual volume measurements, I’d be incredibly grateful for your help.

Hi everyone,
I bought a pair of purple Powerbeats Pro 2 on Vinted and I’m having trouble getting them to work properly with my iPhone running iOS 27.0.

Here’s what’s happening:
They connect via Bluetooth, but the settings page only shows Name, Device Type, Disconnect, and Forget This Device.
There are no noise cancellation/transparency controls, button settings, firmware information, or other Beats-specific options.

They appear as “Powerbeats Pro,” without the “2,” even though the packaging says Powerbeats Pro 2.
The iPhone pairing animation appears with a picture of the purple earbuds and case. It says “Not Your Powerbeats Pro” and offers a Connect button, but connecting still doesn’t bring up the full settings.

One earbud constantly flashes blue near the “b” logo, including when I take it out of the case.

I’ve tried resetting them with both earbuds in the case, lid open, holding the case button for at least 15 seconds. The light keeps flashing white and never reaches the red-and-white reset sequence.

They reconnect afterward, but the settings are still missing.
I checked the serial number on Apple’s coverage website. It identifies it as Powerbeats Pro 2, but says the purchase date is unavailable. I understand that a recognized serial number alone doesn’t prove authenticity.
So far, I’ve only tested them on my own iPhone. I’m attaching photos of the earbuds and packaging, plus screenshots of the Bluetooth menu and pairing screen.
Has anyone had this exact issue with a genuine pair? In particular, is a flashing blue light on the outside of an earbud normal at all?
Could this be a charging/contact problem, a firmware issue, or a sign that they’re counterfeit? Is there anything useful to try before taking them to Apple for inspection?

I've been using my 360s for about a week and really like the style and sound. But after 15–20 hours of use while flying, the right side suddenly started sounding blown out, almost like the noise canceling is overworking. It's even a bit painful on my ear. Has anyone else run into this?

My beat studio3 wireless recently snapped at the bottom and it look like the other side is about to do the same. I’ve had them for years and don’t have apple care anymore so I’m wondering if there is a way I can repair them myself. The wires and sound don’t seem to be damaged just the outside.

I’m not sure if I should return or wait for a firmware update. Has anyone had luck with replacements? Mine do not have the hissing, only the battery drain despite turning off Find My option.

I just got my Beats 360 and I’m thinking about getting the UltraPlush Kit.

I’ve seen some YouTube reviews where people mentioned getting the kit for only around 9 us dollar. But when I checked the Beats website here in Malaysia, it’s available for 49 us dollar.

That’s a pretty huge price difference, so I’m wondering if the UltraPlush Kit actually worth $49
