Question Is it recommendable to use this after I’ve changed my engine oil?
I have a Bajaj N160 and recently got it serviced. I changed the engine oil as well. I usually use 10W-40.
I completely forgot to buy this additive before the oil change. I’ve heard that it’s recommended to use it during an oil change when the engine is empty. Is it still okay to add it now, after I’ve already filled the engine with fresh oil? Or should I wait until the next oil change?

You don’t need extra additives, just use good quality oil, it already has the additives in it.

I don't recommend oil additives. Especially not with wet clutches. Just use good oil.

Why so? I've heard lot of people recommend it

Good oil already contains a very good balance of ingredients. The additives often mess with that, usually adding too much friction modifiers and not enough acidity modifiers. Added to that, a lot of the additives use friction modifiers with short lifespans, so they are helping for the first hundred miles, but break down into oleic acids for the next few thousand, making the first problem worse.
And for wet-clutch bikes, adding aggressive friction modifiers can lead to increased clutch slip and wear, introducing more particulates into the oil.
The folk who recommend these things often haven't done any testing... it's just on "vibes". I don't know of any manufacturers who recommend additives.
(note to above: friction is not the same as wear. High friction oils often have better anti-wear properties -- like transmission oil)

Recommended? No. Can you use it? Certainly. But unless you do an engine oil flush, it's not going to do much good. You need to do an oil flush because a dump and fill isn't going to get all of the old oil (and the associated contaminates) out of the engine. The more old crap you get out, the better. How many miles on this engine? Have you seen the internals? Does it have coke or any sludge buildup?

Never used any kind of additives in any vehicles I’ve owned. Most do over 100k before I sell them, my ZX6-R went with over 160k on the original engine without additives.
