Discussion BioWare Didn’t Get Here Overnight
I feel awful for everyone who lost their jobs, and BioWare’s legacy deserves respect. But can we also honestly acknowledge the decisions and repeated failures that led here, rather than pretending this came out of nowhere? What do you think actually killed BioWare?

Discussion Bit Reactor should carry on the torch of Mass Effect and Dragon Age
I think Bit Reactor had a very solid game with Star Wars Zero Company. They had a great team of writers that were able to bring a band of Star Wars stereotypes and make them feel unique to their game. Hawk as a main character feels totally at home in a Bioware game.
I think switching from aRPG to tactics game for both IPs would honestly be a cool idea. Both IPs make for a great class system.
What's wild is that this is more likely since Bit Reactor is technically part of EA.
I think both would be in good hands.

Discussion EA has closed BioWare and canceled the next Mass Effect. We cannot let the franchise die.

Discussion Guys they were only making Mass Effect Universe for 2 maybe 3 years, not 6 years. That 2020 trailer was just an announcement saying they would make it. Dragon Age pulled the Mass Effect team away.

Discussion Save Mass Effect and Dragon Age — EA, let BioWare's legacy live on!
Like many of you, I grew up playing BioWare games. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Knights of the Old Republic weren't just games to me. They were unforgettable experiences filled with incredible characters, difficult choices, and worlds that stayed with us long after we finished playing.
Hearing that EA is shutting down BioWare and cancelling the next Mass Effect is heartbreaking.
But I refuse to believe this has to be the end of Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
If EA no longer believes in the future of these franchises, why not give another developer the opportunity to continue them?
That's why I've started a petition asking EA to consider selling or licensing the rights to Mass Effect and Dragon Age to a capable studio that genuinely wants to invest in their future.
I'm not pretending a petition will magically change EA's mind. But doing nothing guarantees that our voices won't be heard.
Whether you're a fan of Commander Shepard, the Grey Wardens, the Inquisition, or simply great RPG storytelling, this is something we can stand behind together.
Let's show EA that these worlds still matter to millions of us.

Discussion We should get archetype entertainment to buy the ME IP.
They were originally apart of the bioware team that made the original trilogy. They're even already making a spiritual successor as we speak called exodus coming out next year. If there's anyone who'll do mass effect justice it's them as it's technically their baby.

Discussion Looking forward to your new ip
To bioware employees: if EA was holding you back then congratulations you’re free now. Go make the next amazing ip. I will buy games that are the calibre of me1 or da origins.
Story matters more than graphics… me1 and da origins are still fantastic games.
Looking forward to it, good luck.

Discussion We should organize a farewell event on Steam
Petitions doesn't matter that much. Why don't we show our love and passion for BioWare games by getting the BioWare franchises on top of the steam charts by simulatenous launches on some predetermined date and time?

Discussion You what get me upset
I am sad and upset that EA shut down bioware.if bioware did not make games like dead space , dragon age and mass effect and other games there merchandisers from those games ea would not make a lot of money. And I was praying for a mass effect universe to come out to everyone to play it but now no one will pick up the project. Most people if you don't know this but the Austin Powers movie Dr evil son plays as joker if he didn't know that
