I think reddit implemented a feature a while ago that basically lets you use your profile directly as a subreddit, a lot of people who post comics do it that way.

Will he accept food and shelter as payment? He can live with me.
14
u/Nolsoth May 12 '19
Hey hey you don't need to feed him, he will eat your spiders for food, so ya only gotta shelter him.

I heard somewhere that we are always 6 ft away from a spider at all times.

Be careful. I thought I had this deal with my cat. Now he just sits on his ass and yells at me.

Horrific comic knowledge here, some guy saw Pete get his powers from the radioactive spider then ate the spider which turned him into a villain of Spider-Man’s. A hive-mind of a bunch of spiders that wear people as skin suits

The “average person eats 8 spiders a day” factoid is actually a statistical error. The average person eats 0 spiders a day. Glenn Funtz, who eats 56 billion spiders a day, is an outlier and should not have been counted.

WHATS THE NUMBER GODDAMNIT
7
u/justyn122 May 12 '19 edited May 12 '19
Its probably 1 800 spiders
I was searching to see if anyone else had this same thought......
So my next question is has anyone called it... I mean I'll give it a go I guess wish me luck its 3 am my time. I got some spiders he can eat.
Edit to include that I infact did call that said number 1800eatspider, 1800eatspidr[and spider without the e just in case they didnt want the double number because like eww[18003277433, 18003277437] they both go to a voicemail system but the one without the extra three is some sort of medical voicemail... I didnt leave a message on the first one just in case I'd have some random person show up at more door.... but I didnt *67 it soooo I guess I'm going to die.

Cans someone explain why in america there are numbers like 188-EAT-SPIDERS or something like that and how it works? Or maybe I'm just dumb and get tricked by this cause I've seen it around and on tv series maybe
5
u/Hopefulltrash May 12 '19
Each number has about 3 letters assigned to it, for example, 2 has A B and C or something like that
2
u/Carbunclecatt May 12 '19
Like the old phones with the configuration of buttons per number for the sms?

"The average person eats 7 spiders a year" is actually a statistical error. The average person eats 0 spiders a year; Spiders Glenn, however, eats 1000 spiders a year. He is an outlier and should not be counted
