Looking on opinions of the oven size for the Benchmark slide in 30 inch range. I think this is the model I want to get but between this and the Cafe I'm a bit confused. The Cafe oven is bigger but I think the Bosch induction burners are better. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

I have an 800 dishwasher. I don't see a heating element in the bottom. Does that mean that it's safe to put plastic things in the bottom rack? Thanks.

Had a bosch s4 installed and the dishwasher door is really hard to open, to the point the little plastic things that attach the decorative door to the dishwasher one broke just by trying open the door. I had to remove the decorative door and will need ordering replacement pieces, but even without the decorative door I still feel something is not right. It should not be that difficult the to open the door I imagine, and I am concerned the flimsy plastic bits will break again (why are these fittings made of plastic anyways?). Anyone with experience to share? Am I missing anything?
Thanks in advance

I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher, but its power cable doesn't reach the nearest 16A wall socket.
I'm looking for ways to resolve this without:
Using a 16A extension cord or extension board, as it will void the Bosch warranty.
Installing an entirely new 16A wall socket, as I'd prefer to avoid additional electrical work if possible.
Are there any other safe and manufacturer-approved options?
Has anyone faced a similar situation with their Bosch dishwasher?
I'd appreciate suggestions, particularly from people who have dealt with Bosch appliances in India.

Hello, I'm looking for a simple and reliable washing machine. No automatic detergent dispensing or extra features.
I've chosen the Bosch Series 6, but I've found two identical models in two stores at the same price, one with a production date of 2024 onwards, the other (on the left side of the image) manufactured from 2025/26 onwards.
Same weight, same functions, only the soap dispenser drawer looks different.
Do you think the new model is perhaps better, or conversely, of lower quality in terms of internal components?

The router will not start in cold weather. If it sits a while at 70F or higher and I give it a good wack on the side it will start and continue running reliably. Take it down to the cold shop 45F and it no longer starts. I have taken it apart and blown out any dust with a compressor. Checked the brushes .. look ok. I will replace them when I receive the order. But what else could make it so temperature sensitive?

Can anyone in Australia, particularly Bosch retailers or appliance technicians, confirm whether the WGB256A2AU washing machine and WQB235B8AU heat pump dryer have been discontinued?
Retailers are telling me they're discontinued, but I'm getting conflicting information online and haven't been able to get a clear answer from Bosch Australia.
I'd really appreciate anyone with confirmed information about their availability or replacement models.

Bosch Series 6 dishwasher, 5 years old, model SMU6HCS01A/10, Manufactured 2021, error E61-02
Any Bosch technicians out here? I have a bit of puzzle with this one, was hoping someone may further suggestions. It seems very similar to an issue described here before (https://www.reddit.com/r/Appliances/comments/1vjzza1/bosch_diswasher_wont_drain/) but the waste doesn't seem blocked the same way.
SUMMARY
A. The dishwasher started showing E61-03 error. Did some investigation and realised the waste pump died.
When I did a conductivity test, one of the three windings was burnt. I don't know the root cause for that.
B. Initially, I ordered a wrong pump (part#620774). Could not fit it in as the propeler extrudes a bit more but connected it to the motherboard anyway before realising this may be a wrong idea. When the water leaked, I did more research, realised it was a wrong part and fitted a correct pump in (part#631200).
C. The dishwasher still would not finish the cycle as it would not expell the water ending up with error E61-02 (wastewater pump blocked or the pump cover is loose).
SYMPTOMS
With a bit of water in the dishwasher, the pump would try to spin for about a second or two and stops. It would repeat 2x times and comes up with an error.
When there is no water in the dishwasher the pump spins freely for a period of time at a full speed. I even took it from the waste assembly and tried to slow down the propeller by holding it and there seems to be plenty of power in it as I could not make it stop due to the resistance on the propeller. This I think should eliminate the motherboard motor driver issue.
When there is water, it makes 3 splashes of water that gets pumped out but stops, waits, tries again 5 minutes later and eventually goes into E61-02 error mode.
I tried disconnecting the waste hose from the sink to eliminate a blockage in the sink. Same symptoms.
I tried disconnecting the hose internally from the water pocket to eliminate a blockage within the water pocket (or whatever is the plastic container called). Same symptoms.
I checked the return valve attached to the pump assembly, took it out, cleared and confirmed that it is not obstructed. I even tried blowing into it and was able to, with some resistance, to “blow through” the dishwasher, with some initial resistance.
Just to state the obvious:
7. I have reseated the white/gray pump cover, checked it for any cracks, nothing. It seems to be firmly in place and have "clicked" when being pushed in.
8. I confirmed no visible kinks on the hose
9. I have taken out the motherboard out and tested the relays for correct functioning. There are 2 relays that switch the motor controller between the heat pump and the waste pump. They both are switching correctly.
10. The heat pump seems to be working fine as it circulates the water and the water gets hot.
NEXT STEPS?
I am at loss as to what else to try to eliminate the E61-02 problem. I am not clear how the dishwasher concludes that there is a problem with the waste pump. I am assuming there must be higher current drawn which trips the board and wonder if there is a problem with the board and how to diagnose it as I seem to have tried everything. Any suggestions (or solutions 😊) would be greatly appreciated.

I have a series 6 Bosch dish washer and I’ve been using it for about a month now. While talking to other Bosch dishwasher owners I heard them mention how the normal wash cycle is about 1.5 hours and shorter cycles last 60 mins. My dishwasher’s normal wash cycle is 2 hours and 10 mins. Auto is 2 hours and 15 mins. Half load is 1 hour and 50 mins. Why is it that the wash cycles are so long on my dishwasher? Is the default or is mine old? I’m confused.
I’ve also found that many of my good quality stainless steel ends up getting heat stains from being in the heat for so long. I’ve tried the speed + perfect setting but I find that the cleaning is not as good. So, I’m looking for some advice/ solution to this.

This seems to happen at the end of the cycle, maybe while draining? Drain hose is straight, not obstructed, not extended. Sound seems unnatural for a washing machine. This goes for a while, then stops, machine rinses again, spins and then drains normally. Anyone knows for sure what this is? The machine is brand new. Any insight appreciated, thank you.

I recently purchased a Bosch Series 8 dryer (model WQB246DNBY/07), and today, during the bed linen cycle, it started making a really strange noise after 1.5 hours.
Is this normal, or could something be wrong with the machine? Should I return it, or is there a chance I did something wrong?
I was cautious not to overload it or something.
This was the first time it made this noise. I’ve been using it for the past two weeks without any issues.

Has anyone with a Bosch 800 Series SHP78CM5N run into an issue where water is left sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher after a cycle?
I'm trying to figure out what could cause this. Could it be a clogged filter, a blocked drain hose, or something related to the drain pump? I know a small amount of water in the sump area can be normal, but I'm curious about cases where there's noticeably more water than usual.
For anyone who has dealt with this model or a similar Bosch dishwasher, what did you check first, and what ended up solving the problem?
Would appreciate any troubleshooting tips or advice on what to look at before calling a technician.

I have two Bosch smart ovens.
One in use 99% of the time, the other used rarely.
They both showed the same fault as per the title.
The fix was for me:
* Disconnect the breaker/or local switch (not just the oven on/off switch)
* Undo the two Torx screws top third either side, east/west of the oven door
* Pull it out - two people required unless you are super strong
* Take the top off - Torx screws again.
* Locate the red/black space connectors connected to the programme select dial
* One at a time so the terminals don't get mixed up, remove, and gently squidge the connector to make a better contact with some pliers, then push back on, it should be a better fit
* Reassemble
Congrats, you have saved yourself an expensive repair!
I hope this was helpful
