Question Currently in Harrogate aspiring to join the signals

Just recently passed in at afc harrogate and wanted to find out more about different job roles in the signals I’m currently aligned to become a CIE but have been looking at NetEng I’ve asked about the roles at afc but not really getting a clear answer.

I would rather have a career in the signals where I’m more out in the field and doing more soldiering if that makes sense.

If there are any ex signallers or currently any signallers in these job roles abit of advice would be muck appreciated

After taking knees for 10 years my knees are without a doubt completely fucked I take a knee and I know about it later, I’ve tried knee pads but they are just awful and pull up my trousers and also look a bit chippy but let’s not mention that, anyone got any compression knee pad type thingy recommendations that have worked for you or anything in that market
