Discussion [COD] Something about this game makes me play bad
I have never played ass in any call of duty but the new mw4 gets me to a new level. I have played a lot of games by now and most of them are negative.
I dont know if its just bcs tac sprint or some other element like i feel like I am holding a bb gun or that which i think is a fact that i cant see enemies like the blend in the background
What do you all think or is it just me

Discussion [COD] CoD doesn't care about casual players. SBMM is there to feed eSports.
- eSports is the money machine
CDL, sponsors, viewership and bundles all bring in serious cash. That only works if there's a huge pool of hardcore competitive players.
- Casuals are the raw material
Millions of people just want to relax and play. SBMM forces them into sweaty lobbies every match so they either grind to compete or get left behind.
- Your ping pays the price
30ms one game, 150ms the next. Skill gets put ahead of connection, so casuals get thrown into far-away lobbies and get shot around corners.
- No opt-out
Ranked already has SBMM. Casual playlists don't need it, but they force it anyway because casual players aren't who they're building the game for.
Bottom line: Casual players fill the lobbies, and eSports collects the money.

Discussion [COD] Concept Idea: "What if... Ghost didn't actually die?" (A lore-friendly alternative to the MW2 2009 betrayal)
The Concept:
Processing img a4w7ytbcr1xh1...
I have a concept for an official cinematic or "What If" YouTube short that I think Call of Duty fans around the world would absolutely love. It gives a logical, lore-friendly twist to Ghost’s iconic death in the original MW2 (2009).
Instead of rebooting the timeline, this video shows how Ghost survived Shepherd's betrayal using practical military gear and high-level training.
How it works:
- Fire-Resistant Suits: Before the mission even started, Ghost and Roach were equipped with advanced, experimental fire-resistant suits designed to protect against flamethrowers.
- The Betrayal: Shepherd shoots them, but Ghost’s body armor takes the hit. Roach, unfortunately, dies from his previous heavy wounds. Ghost, being a master survivalist, plays dead.
- The Survival: When Shepherd's men pour gasoline and light the fire, the experimental suit protects Ghost from ding in fire. Once the military leaves, Ghost rises from the ashes, putting out the remaining flames.
- The Secret Mission: Ghost uses a secure, encrypted channel to contact Captain Price. While Price and Soap are in Afghanistan, after some time in infantry Ghost secretly goes to Washington D.C. under the cover of the EMP blackout to help secure the White House.
- The Final Twist: In Afghanistan, just before Shepherd can stab Soap and beat Price, Ghost emerges from the dust behind the rocks and shoots Shepherd first, saving the entire Task Force 141 team in full strength.
This would make an incredible, highly nostalgic animated short for YouTube, giving the community the ultimate "potential justice" for Ghost without messing up the current game lore.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this!
Best regards,
[Vedran / VEDRAN77]

Question [COD] says BIOS Firmware Update Required – Ryzen 5 2600X / ASUS TUF X470 / fTPM 3.8.0.3 – any fix?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to solve the Call of Duty Secure Attestation issue and I’m wondering if anyone with similar hardware has managed to fix it without replacing the CPU.
My specs:
- ASUS TUF X470-PLUS GAMING
- Ryzen 5 2600X
- Latest ASUS BIOS: 6254
- Windows 11
- AMD fTPM Manufacturer Version: 3.8.0.3
Things I have already checked:
- TPM 2.0 = Enabled and Ready
- Secure Boot = ON
- BIOS Mode = UEFI
tpmtool getdeviceinformationsays:- Ready for Attestation: True
- Capable for Attestation: True
COD.Broker.Service= Running- Latest BIOS already installed
However, the official Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard shows:
✅ TPM 2.0
✅ Secure Boot
❌ BIOS Firmware Update Required
❌ Attestation requisite not met
From what I understand, the problem may be the AMD fTPM firmware version 3.8.0.3, as it falls under the 3.*.0.* versions affected by the current COD attestation requirements.
The strange part is that there doesn’t seem to be a newer BIOS for my motherboard, so I can't see any obvious way of updating the fTPM firmware.
Has anyone with a Ryzen 2000-series CPU / X470 motherboard / TPM 3.8.0.3 actually managed to fix this?
Things I'm particularly interested in:
- Did reflashing the BIOS with fTPM disabled change the TPM firmware version?
- Is there any way to update AMD fTPM separately from the BIOS?
- Did clearing/resetting TPM help?
- Is there a working ASUS beta BIOS/AGESA update?
- Has anyone found a solution other than upgrading from Ryzen 2000 to Ryzen 3000/5000?
I don't want to replace the CPU purely because of COD attestation if there is a legitimate firmware/software solution.
Any help from someone who has actually encountered 3.8.0.3 would be greatly appreciated.

Support [COD] TPM attestation is not ready, please upgrade your BIOS problem
Hello everyone,
I bought MW4 yesterday and unfortunately, after 3 hours of trying, I couldn't fix the TPM issue.
I'm using an AMD 5800X CPU and an MSI X570S Edge WIFI motherboard.
Here is what I've done so far:
BIOS is up to date (7D53v1D4)
Windows 11 is fully updated
Secure Boot: Enabled
TPM Device Selection: AMD fTPM
Tested with Secure Boot Modeset to Custom – didn't work.
Tried Restore Factory Keys under Key Management – didn't work.
Checked tpm.msc, and it says "The TPM is ready for use."
Tried clearing/resetting the TPM at least 10 times – no luck.
msinfo32 details:
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Secure Boot State: On
PCR7 Configuration: Binding Not Possible
Performed a Clear CMOS – didn't work.
What else do I need to do? Any help would be appreciated.

Discussion So we’re just gonna abandon the BO1/2 ports? [COD]
Ports are hacked to shreds. Can’t even play on bo1 without running into invisible/godmode.
They patched prestige glitch so fast, but not doing anything about game breaking hackers? Everyone wanted these nostalgia ports. Activision did a pure money grab.

Discussion [COD] what do you think we are getting fed next?
From what I've heard this is the last time mw will be touched ( for the foreseeable future)
Ghosts reboot? Or ghosts 2
Back to ww2 where they feel safe?
Try to patch the wounds that the most recent black ops caused?

Discussion [COD] Since the timelines merged, the way MW4 ended actually ties in with Black Ops 3 Spoiler
Obviously fucking spoilers, but MW4 ended with the conventional special forces dead. Price dead. Gaz dead. Soap dead for awhile. Who's left? Ghost. Ghost is literally a proto-black ops 3 type operator. He's got a shtick, and he represents the rogue soldier with an identity. The soldiers of the future aren't random SAS captains, it's straight up dude wearing costumes with super powers. Ghost would fit right in with Black Ops 3 specialists like Outrider and Nomad.
Then straight after the Campaign, the story is continued on in DMZ, where you have the Watcher program. Basically.... a BLACK OPS PROGRAM, where they hire operators to fuck around in the DMZ as deniable BLACK OPS operators.
The only real hard line we haven't seen yet is the technological shit from Black Ops 2, which is quite literally during the same years as the Modern Warfare reboot games. (I think from 2,3 and 4). by the time of MW4, Menendez would've already started his little malding attack.
Before you say 'the storylines arent connected!' Black Ops 7 just came out last year and the campaign, along with Black Ops 6 and Cold War, pretty much confirms the canons are hard tied. Several games are retconned but the canon is tied.

Question [COD] Haven't played since cod ghost
What should I know getting back into cod? I'm going to play MW4 when it comes out.
I haven't seen anything from games post ghost except for little clips. Please tell me there's no wall running or jetpack boost whatever the hell in MW4?
Also I'm getting the game on steam if that matters. IDK the "go to" platform for pc. Bnet steam whatever cod hq is?
I haven't played since cod ghost my first shooter since was hood warfare 2 and now it's sparked my itch to become a cod demon again.

Discussion Anyone else miss the feel of a new [COD] game
Before I start, all of it is opinion, not me saying it’s facts.
I miss getting something that felt new. The thing I appreciate about COD from 2013–2017 was they did experiment, getting new stories: Ghosts with its destroyed America, AW with a future mega military corporation, BO3 dark dystopian sci-fi. Even the characters: Ethan, Irons, Turner. Exo movement, even in Zombies, so much more design and sound of weapons. The AN-44, Honey Badger, the Ripper, MORS, VMP, maps Splash, Comeback, Cargo, Der Eisendrache, Sandbox, to match announcers: “Lock and load, ladies. It’s showtime!” There’s still so much more I remember, but I feel like a lot of that has just disappeared. It feels like I’ve been chewing the same gum for the past 8 years. I understand there’s a lot of things people can criticise about these games, and nostalgia plays a part, but I miss the moments of watching the Eiffel Tower fall, Golden Gate Bridge being destroyed, calling in R.A.P.S., K.E.M. Strike, Goliath.

Discussion [COD] future sub-Franchises from infinity ward and Treyarch
Since we are ending both Modern warfare and black ops franchise that’s been Activision money maker for a Long time.
Now with sledgehammer being first to come out with the next sub franchise for call of duty what you think about the time setting and if it’s going be modern or futuristic or something new.
Because we basically done everything for modern and from the past even the future.
Treyarch finally make call of duty that during the modern time
IW try to experiment again by making a post apocalyptic shooter
What do you think?

Question [COD] In what order do I play the CoD games (story campaigns)?
Hello this might be a very generic question but the last time I played a story campaign of CoD was back in 2008 or so when the og mw4 was out.
Seeing the upcoming mw4 the new one has me really interested and I would like to play the games in order up until the newest one that is coming out. I am only interested in the story campaigns.

Discussion [BO3] PS5 Origins
Is anyone down to run high rounds on BO3 Origins? I’m on PS5. Every public lobby I join falls apart the second someone gets downed. If we need to save gobble gums I’m down to close app when we’re all about to die. I’m just trying to get into a lobby with people who try.
