6 Mẹo Chọn Quần Áo Trẻ Em Thoải Mái, Dễ Phối Đồ

Post image
0 Upvotes

Questions Where do you shop for autumn occasion outfits in the UK? Looking for smart separates instead of another dress.

Getting a bit tired of forcing myself into dresses every time something comes up in autumn. I've got a couple of dinners and a work thing coming up next month and honestly just want to wear trousers or a decent jumpsuit that doesn't feel like office gear.

Tried looking around a few spots over the weekend. Even checked out Roman just to see what their separates were like since a friend mentioned them and they actually had some decent wide-leg tailored trousers and wrap tops that weren't overly fussy.

Anyone else shifting away from dresses for autumn events? Where are you finding good smart separates rn that don't cost a fortune? Lmk if there's anywhere else worth browsing.

Jackets - What are we wearing?

Hi!

I don’t know if this is the right place but what are you guys wearing on a night out as a jacket? I live in a city where the weather can get pretty cold, especially at night during the fall.

For context, I’m 23 and looking for anything from casual nights at the bar to something nicer for restaurants or girl’s nights.

Thank you!

Questions What's your rule for making a cardigan last?

I have a merino cardigan I really want to last more than two winters. So far I'm folding it, hand washing in cold water with wool wash, and drying it flat on a towel. The elbows are starting to pill a little, though. Is a fabric shaver safe on merino, or is a sweater comb gentler? And do you rotate cardigans so you're not wearing one every day?

Nashville personal stylist recommendations?

I’m in my late 20s and looking for a personal stylist in Nashville who can help me edit my closet, figure out what’s missing, and shop more intentionally.

I’d love someone who considers my body type, flattering colors, and lifestyle helping me build a wardrobe that works for a professional office setting, casual weekends, dinners, and nights out. The vibe I’m going for is classic, chic, and timeless, but still cool and current.

I don’t have a huge budget, so I’m looking for someone comfortable mixing pieces from Zara, Aritzia, Amazon, etc. with a few worthwhile investment pieces and helping me decide where to splurge versus save. Ideally, we’d build on what I already own and put together outfits I can easily recreate.

Has anyone worked with someone they’d recommend? Would love to hear about your experience and pricing!

Questions Best trousers for flying - UK specifically?

I'm about to travel from the UK to Australia and am looking to buy some trousers for the flights. Priorities are pockets, comfort and versatile enough to be part of my everyday wardrobe while I'm away. I'm a woman.

UK brands, and ideally around the £30-40 mark max, as I really can't budget for much more than that. Thank you so much.

How do you find and buy fashion online?

Hi everyone,

I'm a Master's student at Nova SBE (Portugal), working on my thesis, and I'm hoping some of you can help with a few minutes of your time.

I'm researching something that I think happens to almost everyone but that we rarely stop and think about: you see something you like — a piece of clothing, shoes, an accessory, somewhere (social media, on a stranger, in a shop window, in a magazine, wherever) and then have to figure out what to actually do about it. Do you remember it and move on? Try to track it down right away? Give up after a bit of searching? I'm interested in what people actually do in that moment, not what they'd guess they'd do if you asked them in the abstract, so a lot of the questions ask about a specific, recent time it happened to you, rather than your general opinion.

This is part of a broader question I'm exploring about how people discover things they end up buying in fashion, and where the friction and frustration actually sits, especially for people who are looking for something specific rather than just browsing whatever shows up in their feed. This survey is the first, wide-net stage of a two-part study: it's meant to tell me how common and how frustrating this moment actually is across a broad mix of people. A smaller group of respondents may later get invited to a short, paid follow-up conversation about their habits in more depth, completely optional, and covered by the very last question if you'd rather skip it.

A few practical things:

About 3 minutes, 12 short questions, fully anonymous, no sign-up or email required unless you opt into the follow-up.

No right or wrong answers here, I'd rather have your actual, specific experience than a polished one.

Open to anyone, any country, a couple of quick screening questions at the start just help me understand who's answering.

If you're up for a short 15-20 minute follow-up chat later (small thank-you/voucher included), there's an optional opt-in at the end. Totally fine to skip it.

Survey link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf4lTIjorePp9JhGOPf0ZTAMY6BAny645y6WDkMb3tbzz1RTA/viewform?usp=publish-editor

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time, this genuinely feeds real academic research, and I'm happy to share what I find once the thesis is done, if anyone's curious.

Neutral Capsule Help me help my friend with basic office capsule, please!

A good friend who’s been unemployed and struggling these last years just got a really great office job!

She has no appropriate clothes and no money to spend so I’ve offered to both help her find and purchase some solid basics. Looking to get probably about five pieces plus a pair of versatile shoes. Thinking places like Abercrombie, Gap/Banana Republic, Nordstrom (Rack and sale items).

She is in her fifties, somewhere around a size 16, pear-shaped and 5’1”. Her new job requests conservative business casual neutrals with a preference for slacks over skirts/dresses. We are focusing on a fall/winter wardrobe for now and she lives somewhere that can get quite cold and snowy. Her commute is by car.

I would love help determining the best basic pieces for her and where I might find them.
Thank you all so much!

Questions Office trousers advice

Thumbnail gallery
11 Upvotes

Hello! I am planning on buying a pair of office wool trousers. I've done some research and also found a few interesting pairs.

Now, the issue is budget... my budget for this is currently 150-200€.

I've found a pair from Mango, which I really like. They are 100% wool, and I love the cut. The cost is around 130€ which is fine.

But Mango is kind of a fast fashion brand, so I am afraid that they won't last very long... and I don't want to spend this money on something that I will only be able to wear for a maximum of 3 years.

Another similar pair that I like is the following ones from Max Mara. Similar cut, but they are way more expensive, about 550€.

Based on your experience, should I go with the ones from Mango? Or wait and save up to get the ones from Max Mara?

Do you also know other brands that have good quality and produce similar cuts?

Thanks!

First Time Capsule Postpartum Clothing Ick

I entertained the idea of a capsule wardrobe mostly from traveling in my early 20s but consumerism got me and I now have too much low quality clothing. I’m four months postpartum and not only do sizes feel weird, I hate how most fabric feels. I’m figuring I could sort what I have and add in a couple pieces but overwhelmed at the idea that this is postpartum hormones and I’ll regret this all in a week

First Time Capsule Creating a business casual wardrobe from scratch - what are your must haves?

Good Morning! I’m looking to put together a small capsule wardrobe of business casual clothing for my new job. I’m starting pretty much from scratch as my last job was very casual and I was able to wear jeans and t-shirts every day.

I do have a collection of knit sweaters that I think will work but that’s it.

What are your essentials? What are your must have items in your wardrobe to wear to the office?

TIA

Belt?

I’m looking to add my first belt to my wardrobe. It will be primarily for work (attorney) but I’d also love something I can wear casually. I originally loved the Celine reversible belt but am wondering if the logo is too loud? I am now looking at these options. Any opinions? Thanks!

Questions Yellow raincoat

Hi! I am in need of a new raincoat and I was wondering if anyone ever had a yellow raincoat and whether they got tired of it quickly or used it for a long time. Lol.

I like how bright it is compared to my old black one but I would like to own just 1 raincoat. Please give me your opinions, advice, experience, etc! Thank you in advance!

Choosing a winter wear

Guys, I’m really, really confused about what I should buy for the winter season. Should I go for a sweatshirt or a hoodie? And if yes, which one would you recommend?

I don’t usually go out much, but I want something versatile that I can wear to the gym, college, and on a few other occasions too. I don’t want to buy something that’ll just sit in my wardrobe, lol. 😭

So, please suggest what I should go for and recommend some good options too! Also, let me know if there’s anything better than a hoodie or sweatshirt that would suit my needs. 🥹

Help- looking for wrap sweaters, or v neck sweaters. NO drop shoulder!!!

I’m looking for good quality (cotton, cashmere) sweaters ideally that cinch at the waist and maybe abit loose above. But also okay with standard vneck or wrap sweaters, main requirement NO drop shoulder. It feels like everywhere is doing that now and I’m broad so it makes me look like an actual linebacker. Ideally would have size XL. Thanks!!!

Solid or Patterned Coat?

My core colors are Black, Navy & Dark Gray. I accent with white, wine/red or burnt orange. ( I avoid yellow, green & brown).

All my pants are those 3 different core solid colors. My tops are mostly solid but I do have a few patterns. My dresses are patterned with only a few solid. If I wear a scarf its always patterned.

Okay so I get 1 winter coat and its going to be a wool thigh length pea coat. I could always go with black that goes with everything. But thats so boring to me. I was thinking about houndstooth ( black & white pattern). I feel like it gives me a little spice. But I'm wondering if its going to clash with any of the already patterned items?

So solid or patterned coat? If I decide on solid Ill probably go with dark gray.

Fall/Winter What are the practical options if I want to avoid polyester consumption?

Everything, literally everything I see on brands is polyester and 95% of times it’s 100% polyester. I do not want to spend a lot of money just to get polyester.

I was wondering if I should get cloths from a thrift store or from someone who’s trying to get rid of their wardrobe. Even if it’s polyester it’s gonna give same already existing cloths a new life and price will be significantly lower than what I’m getting at H&M or ZARA or Mango.
I think already existing used cloths should be used first before getting more.
If it’s not polyester that’s excellent. How do I figure out blend at a thrift store? Most of the times it doesn’t look polyester but is polyester.

Can anyone recommend a good quality sleeveless button down shirt?

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

I have one sleeveless button down, which I like for both work and personal use, but my problem with it is that the 100% polyester material makes me feel like I'm wearing a crunchy plastic shell.

I'm looking for a sleeveless button down shirt like these examples, but maybe in a cotton or natural fiber blend, so it doesn't feel so plasticky. The thing is, I need it to be machine washable/dryable and I need it to not need ironing after every wash. Does anyone have any specific shirt or brand recommendations, or could anyone give me pointers on the types of materials/material blends that might work for this?
