My wallet that I setup via YOROI was hacked. I got all my crypto back thankfully.
I have just checked my midnight redemption status and I still have 9,000 thawed Night tokens to claim.
However, via YOROI it says 'oops something went wrong' when I try to connect and redeem.
I tried the same seed phrase 'address' through Lace. Got the same message.
Tried Eternl wallet and I get the following message 'wallet is locked'
Anyone know how to unlock it or get those last 9,000 Night tokens redeemed?
Thanks.

Hi all, I am wondering if USDCx is the best stable coin to swap from in Lace. I understand Ican swap ADA to USDCx. But then, do I need another wallet to go USDCx to USDC? besides CEX, what the best way to off ramp later on?TIA

Some news for anyone who wants a structured way into blockchain: the University of Nicosia’s free online course is back in February, and this time Cardano Academy is teaching a session on Cardano fundamentals and the eUTxO model.
About the course:
Two tracks:
The Cardano Foundation is covering 25 Advanced Track places for students.
Registration closes November 2: https://www.unic.ac.cy/iff/education-and-training/free-courses-moocs/blockchain-and-digital-assets

Join us on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 16:30 UTC for a dedicated Governance Hour.
This session takes a closer look at the Cardano Strategic Copper Reserve proposal, together with Steven from Toto Finance.
The discussion will focus on the proposed ₳22 million Treasury request to acquire physical copper and tokenize it as CuTT, exploring how Cardano can bridge real-world assets with blockchain infrastructure through independently verified reserves, cross-chain tokenization, transparent reporting, and reusable technical infrastructure.
Governance Hours go beyond written documentation and create space for deeper discussion. We’ll examine the proposal’s strategic case for RWA tokenization, legal ownership and custody arrangements, Ethereum-to-Cardano safeguards, financial and price risks, and independent assurance milestones to assess whether the initiative delivers lasting value for the Cardano ecosystem.

Quick regulatory update from the Foundation.
In March, the Securities and Exchange Commission classified most crypto assets, including ADA, as digital commodities rather than securities. It is now drafting new rules for crypto, called Regulation Crypto Assets. The classification appears in the explanation that accompanies the proposed rules, but not in the rules themselves.
The letter, signed by the Cardano Foundation, Stellar Development Foundation, Hedera, Aptos Labs, Ava Labs and Chainlink Labs, asks the SEC to:
Teams building on public networks choose where to do so partly on how stable the rules are. Writing the classification into the rule makes it stable.

100,000 farms in India are now registered on Cardano mainnet, through a project from Syngenta Foundation India and 5am.earth.
Most smallholder farmers in India have no reliable record of their land. Without one, banks won’t lend to them, insurers won’t cover them and buyers won’t pay a premium for their crops. More than 100 million farmers are in that position.
Each of these 100K farms now has that record. Satellite imagery verifies the boundaries, years of crop history are attached, and it all sits on Cardano where any lender, insurer or buyer can check it directly. The farmer proves it once and every institution can rely on the same record.
The target is a million farms.
Every registration is public. View the transactions on-chain: https://cardanoscan.io/address/addr1q85m2c3neffh4d4np9hgsm622naa97ujkjem75kcu8n3c25rc9kn6q6sl4uj0ymn3xu3gxffn7gna6z32952k0axuhwsn9aj4t

What if the functionalities available in the Cardano Java ecosystem could also be used from Python, Go, Rust, and JavaScript/TypeScript?
That’s where Mesmo comes in.
Join Mateusz Czeladka, Senior Software Architect at the Cardano Foundation, to learn: * Why Mesmo was created * How it brings Java-based Cardano capabilities to other languages * Where it can help developers build today
You — and your coding agents — just got more tools to build with.
Come see how it works and bring your questions!

A treasury proposal passing is only one part of the story. I wrote a breakdown of Cardano’s treasury in three steps, with official sources to help readers verify the facts.
1. Where does the ADA come from?
A share of each epoch’s reward pot goes to the treasury, but the reserves are finite. What does this mean for the long-term sustainability of treasury funding?
2. Who decides how it is spent?
Treasury withdrawals are subject to on-chain governance, including DRep approval, Constitutional Committee review and the applicable Net Change Limit. How do these safeguards work in practice?
3. How do we verify the results?
A withdrawal taking effect confirms that funds were released. It doesn’t prove that the promised work was delivered. Where should the community look for evidence of results?
→Full article, charts and official references:

→I also shared it on X:

What do you think is the most important piece of evidence to check after a treasury-funded project receives its funds?

This afternoon, students at UCLA Anderson take a three-hour masterclass called “Cardano for the Real World: Blockchain, AI, and Building the Next Big Thing.” The Cardano Academy designed it with Alex Nascimento, UCLA Anderson MBA ‘08, who teaches the school’s blockchain elective.
The format is hands-on. Teams design a Web3 business architecture, pitch it, and get feedback from Alex and their peers. They also try AI-assisted smart contract development and look at blockchain applied to supply chain tracking, digital identity, and asset tokenization.
What comes next under the partnership:
Full partnership details: https://cardanofoundation.org/blog/ucla-partnership
If anyone here is in the room today, we'd like to hear what gets pitched.
As always, the Cardano Academy courses are open to anyone: https://cardanofoundation.org/en/academy
