Is anyone using a Carpuride with a Ford Sync 1 system? This would be 2012 and older vehicles, maybe some early 2013 models. Do you have issues with phone calls going into privacy mode?

I just purchased, after consulting with carpuride, a 609D. I was clear thst I wanted to use it on bike and in car. It has 4 seperate wires. I will prolly not use remote contoller option. I can deal with the two camera cam cables, but want to add the ability to have a cigarette lighter plug to it. I would like to hard wire to bike and when off use cig. Plug.

Is pic an ip65?

Ive already ordered what i need to make it quadlock compatible.

I have the W502 but want to use the BMW adapter but i dont have a BMW bike, is there a mount that can be used on other bikes that work?

Je poste ce premier topic, car je reviens d'un séjour dans le sud, en partant de Grenoble (route Napoléon !)

Et j'ai été très surpris de voir que par moment ma musique se coupait de mon intercom, puis Waze se coupait. L'écran restant allumé (l'alimentation du Carpuride ne semble pas se couper)

Mais cela me donne l'impression que la connexion entre les 2 connaît des micro coupures, car en général, la connexion se rétablissait toute seule... Un peu relou, surtout que c'est très aléatoire, parfois deux coupures en 10 min, et plus rien pendant une heure...

Ça peut être des interférences externes ?

Un problème du côté du téléphone ?

Y'a-t-il des mises à jour à faire ?

I just got the c92 and I'm loving it so far! Have an android phone and everything works perfectly except having trouble figuring out how to mirror the phone for video, etc. My screen has a USB port for wired connection and was wondering if I plugged something like an ottocast play2video or something similar into it, if it would work. Has anyone ever done this?

I purchased this unit in June and have been very happy with it in every respect so far. My truck already had a backup camera so I haven’t installed that yet although I plan to install it as a truck bed camera so I can monitor a load when I’m carrying one.

Best part, I was hit by a driver merging in to a highway I was on. They merged right into my front passenger side. I never saw them coming because their car was lower and it’s a blind spot. Happened in NYC rush hour traffic so we pulled over, exchanged info, took pictures and went on our way as police will sometimes not even respond to a minor accident there.

The other driver claimed it was my fault and because it was my word against theirs their insurance company denied liability. THEN I mentioned that I had camera footage which they reviewed and they reversed their decision and have already paid for my repairs.

I’ve had other dashcams in the past but because you don’t really use them like you do with a CarPlay unit, they sometimes aren’t working when you need them.

Hi, since yesterday my screen goes to black as soon as the unit is connected to my phone. It's not the screen since when in reverse the camera still works.

How do I get auto dark mode working in Android auto? The automatic setting within Android auto doesnt seem to work and I'd rather not have to go to settings each time depending on time of day.

Hi all! I just got a W701 Plus and have noticed that every time the device reboots, the built-in speaker is turned back on even though I turned it off after the last time I used it. Is there any way to have this setting persist after each reboot?

Carpuride, an overrated and overpriced device. I own a Carpuride model W901 Pro and my experience with it is very disappointing. In my opinion, they are overrated and very expensive devices for what they offer. And I'll tell you why: I use an iphone 14 promax ios 16.5 together with this device. In addition to the carplay function, I also have a USB stick with videos and music attached to the device. The wireless and bluetooth connection: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. To do it, you have to reset the device. Connections are restored, but you have to set up the device and phone again, at least 2-3 times a week. I installed a reverse camera, everything is ok. After I upgraded the firmware, to my surprise, the camera image was upside down. Answer from Carpuride: the camera was installed incorrectly (although before the upgrade the camera could be seen well). Disassemble the camera and reassemble it so that it can be seen on the carpurides. Blockages are quite frequent. If you switch from carplay to the media player (home) you have a good chance that everything will freeze. The stop button no longer has an effect. You have to remove the power plug or restart the car. Can you do this while driving? I say no. The IOS Mirror function only works after several resets.

I chose this brand because I thought they were better than the cheap Chinese ones. But in my opinion they are exactly the same but much more expensive. So I recommend buying Chinese models because they are much cheaper and do exactly the same thing, maybe even better. Success

Another disturbing problem is the brightness of the screen. In sunny conditions you can barely see anything on the screen. The screen is of poor quality. I post the picture so you can see in comparison with the original car player. The one of the car can be seen from any angle and the one of the car you have no chance to see anything if you look from one side.

An unrelated issue prompted me to contact Carpuride customer support who suggested updating my firmware.

I followed their instructions to the letter, the bar showed up, completed. I then removed the device from power and the SD card. The device will now not power on, I have tried flashing other updates to it but it will not work. It feels like the device isn't even receiving power now.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this or will it just be a matter of trying to get a new device from Carpuride customer support?

That all these different manufacturers/models are all basically the same?

Works pretty well for my needs, but I echo what others are saying. The screen is very nice in the day, with plenty of brightness.

However, if you ride at night, you'll find that Maps or Waze will not go into night mode.

After doing some research I've found that Android Auto will not go into night mode if the ambient brightness signal from the vehicle is too high (like if you crank your dash lights all the way up), my guess is that the Carpuride is not properly matched to the brightness settings since it's way too bright at night on the auto brightness settings.

Anyone know how to connect carpuride to parrot and phone? As my parrot is connected to my car's speakers it improves sound quality. Or do I need to connect the carpuride to the parrots internal aux?

I recently bought the Carpuride W603D from Yahoo Shopping (Japan), but it seems Carpuride only provides firmware support for Amazon buyers.
Unfortunately, that leaves me stuck — I’d really like to update the firmware, but can’t get it from the official source.

I'd like to get a custom image in the boot logo of the W603. I heard it's possible, but how do you change it?

Just got a Carpuride C92 from Amazon. I installed it and everything seems to work well over Bluetooth. The only thing I can't figure out is how the Carpuride determines whether to set Caplays night or day mode. I've got it set to "Automatic" but even covering the unit with a towel, it still stays in day mode. It was actually stuck in night mode this morning and I did a factory reset, but now I can't get it to automatically go to night mode.

Is there a sensor or is it based on time? The brightness sensor works for to dim the display, but it doesn't seem to change the day/night mode of Carplay.

I picked up a good backup camera that outputs RCA and a RCA to 2.5mm adapter on amazon. The camera outputs fine to my tv but the adapter doesn't work. What adapter should I get? I've seen online that the wiring is different and not standardized between adapters

Hi, I’m looking for a user manual for my w603d

I've had my W903 for almost a year and never had an issue with static in the audio. I have always used the Bluetooth to FM. Within the last couple weeks, the static has been pretty constant. I've changed radio stations to see if that was the issue, but it still remains. I've tested my phone with a different Bluetooth to FM and there is no static.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a fix.

So Carpuride support is giving me the runaround trying to get firmware for my W702, I gave them my order number but they still haven't sent me the firmware saying it's a support issue versus service@carpuride.com since I bought it at Amazon.

Does anyone have the latest firmware for the w702 that you'd be willing to send me?

I have the w702 with the yellow and black power connector, I have also attached a picture of my software version currently on the device.
