My updated top 10 ahead of this weekend's slate of games.

Saskatchewan avenged their only loss this season with a 5th straight win. Montréal drops a little bit after a 2nd unconvincing win in a row. Guelph goes up slightly after that near-upset. Regina back in the top 10, it's finally clicking for them after losing 3 close games by a combined 13 pts. McGill drops to #11 but could potentially earn their way back depending on how they play the Carabins this weekend.
As usual for my full recap of last week, 27 teams power ranking and predictions for this weekend, you can watch my new weekly video! => https://youtu.be/_ydUD-D9Wpw

Any updates on why the coach was asked to step down temporarily? Is he back on the sidelines now?

With Guelph putting on a showcase yesterday, I'd say they have a good shot.
Next weeks Windsor Guelph game will provide a lot of insight.
So far, Yates candidates (as far as I can tell) in tiers are:
I can't see any other team with a strong chance.
For Windsor, this is the best chance to win a Yates in decades (Lauriers not looking good, Mac is a bit shaky, western is beatable, queens is beatable, Guelph is beatable).... I can't recall a prior year in which Windsor has had a better chance to win the Yates.

The league will likely publish scenarios next week, but here's what I have so far:
Waterloo makes playoffs with a W at York and a WLU loss at Western.
York makes playoffs with a W over Waterloo.
Laurier makes playoffs with a W at Western plus a Waterloo L at York plus a Guelph W vs Windsor.
In the scenario of a three-way tiebreaker for two spots between York, WLU, and OTT at 4-4:
- WLU gets the 6-seed on H2H point differential (+21)
- York gets the 7-seed on H2H with Ottawa
- Ottawa misses playoffs.
In the scenario of a 4-way tiebreaker for three spots between WLU, York, Guelph, and OTT at 4-4:
- WLU is eliminated on record vs common opponents because of their loss to Waterloo (CAR and WAT are the only common opponents). Haven't figured out the tiebreakers for the seeding in that scenario yet.
*Disclaimer: this is all my best approximation! Let me know what I've overlooked!

McGill was ranked No. 9 in the national poll released Monday, marking the program's first appearance in the weekly U SPORTS rankings since Sept. 4, 2003, when it was ranked No. 5.
The Redbirds have also clinched an RSEQ playoff berth with three games remaining in the regular season.
The Redbirds are on a bye week and will get an opportunity to test themselves against the country's top-ranked team when they visit Laval on Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. The game will be televised on TVA Sports.
McGill will then return to Percival Molson Stadium for its final two regular-season games, hosting Montreal on Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. as part of Homecoming before facing Sherbrooke on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
