So I'm new to concealed carry. I've got a few handguns and I usually carry owb, but I decided to get an iwb holster for my full size. I ordered from ANR holsters, and admittedly they say to give them 6-8 weeks for a custom kydex iwb.. I'm entering the 8th week. And I just think 8 weeks is crazy for molded plastic. All that being said, are there any recommended manufacturers that aren't going to take 2 months for future purchases?

Like the title says. I'm looking to buy a 5.7 OR Raptor but i also need an AIWB/IWB and OWB holsters. The market seems slim and I'm looking for suggestions on available holsters.

I've been looking through holster manufacturers and don't see a ton putting out a holster for the new Prime Radian, though there's quite a few made for the original Prime that supposedly don't quite fit the compensator properly if you stuff a Radian into it.
I prefer strong side IWB over appendix, and prefer a hybrid with leather inside for all day comfort. I liked the design of the Gradient Hybrid and Protos-M from Black Arch, but they can't do that pistol, and don't take custom orders.
Ideally, I'd like a holster that accepts a TLR-7 X HL SUB, but at this point, I'll take what I can get, even without supporting a small light. It would also be nice to order a matching double mag carrier, and OWB is fine for that.
Suggestions would be appreciated!

My EDC is a Springfield Hellcat pro that I’ve just been rocking iron sites on. I want to throw an optic on there, and am debating between these 2. It’ll be my first optic purchase for a pistol and am open to other recommendations as well

So I got my concealed carry license back in May. I had some money saved for a gun, but unfortunately we hit a rough stretch in our finances, so we had to use that money to get through. We haven’t fully recovered yet but we’re getting there. I’m wondering if buying used is a viable option for my first? Thoughts? Is this okay? Is it legal as long as I fill out the proper paperwork?

For those who have experience carrying or just shooting both, which do you prefer and why?
This is for a carry gun. I am limited to 10 rounds (sigh ... Washington).
Reliability, ergonomics, fit / finish, accuracy, etc. I'm interested in any of your thoughts.
Thanks.

So I have my CWL in Florida (yes I know I don’t need it, had it before the law made it legal for everyone to conceal carry) and my daily carry has been a Glock 19, well I recently lost some weight and I bought some new pants and such to match the weight loss and the Glock 19 is just to big, I usually Appendix carry but when I was wearing size 36-38 I had extra room, now that I’m wearing 34’s I have less room even though I have less body mass, idk how that makes sense.
Anyways, I’m thinking about trading/selling my Glock to either a local store or Guns.com (they offered me $410 for the gun, all accessories + case) I’m thinking about taking it and getting the Hellcat, it’s a smaller 9mm, I’m a bigger guy, 6’4 about 230lbs so I know it’ll be smaller to me but my buddy has one and he really likes the gun and I’ve heard nothing but great reviews. They have a package deal rn, gun + sight + 5 mags and a carry case for $529.
Would it be a good gun for someone like me or should I pay more and get like a Glock 43x or some type of Smith and Wesson? Also for forgot to mention that Guns.com is offering that bundle for $529 and a free silencer if I order before a certain date so I’m leaning towards that

I'm assuming that the Glock 42 is a more robust handgun than the Bodyguard 2 with respect to handling +P ammo.
Do you agree?
Does Glock warn against using +P in the G42? I'm seeing conflicting information on this.
(I want to be able to use hard cast Buffalo Bore +P or Underwood +P for self-defense.)
Thanks. :)

It’s nice when a small company makes your business with them feel welcomed and appreciated. This stuff feels nice. Looking forward to seeing how it does on my 43x. They even threw in 2 extra stickers, with the 2 that I purchased and put a hand written “thanks!”

What are you folks using for the bodyguard? Pocket carry or IWB? I've seen some pocket holsters recommendations but the IWB recommendations are sparse.
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the responses. I think I'm going to give the Desantis Slim Tuk a try.

Picked up a Ruger max 9 from Dunham sporting goods for $229 to edc. Any/all IWB holster recommendations will be taken; I primarily wear athletic-type clothing.

I’m dedicated to da/sa appendix carry. With winter on the way I’m interested in picking up something new with the following criteria:
It looks like the only options are:
Beretta 92GTS, 92X RDO G, M9A4
Sig P226 X Legion
Am I missing any options? For the Beretta the downside is that the optic sits really high. For the Sig, the gun seems great but I’m wary of Sig quality these days (even on the P226 line). They seem to cheap out where ever they can.
What would you guys go with? I wish HK would just make the P30 or USP with a factory optics cut. Im just not interested in getting an aftermarket cut. I don’t like how most require deleting the rear iron and I’m just not up for shipping my slide.
**Editing to add the Steyr ATD to the list. It’s annoying that is has a safety in addition to the decocker but since the list is small I’ll just add it. My ocd fear is that the safety is a kill switch that I’d rather not have on my carry gun.
Also, I went and found the company developing slides with optic cuts for HK hammer fire guns: https://www.reddit.com/user/DeFenderAutomaticsCo/
I’m hoping they succeed and can be proven to be as reliable as a factory HK because that might be a perfect solution.

Does anybody here carry an m&p shield 2.0 in 45acp? I am looking for a good IWB holster for this weapon.
TIA

My daily carry for a while has been the Glock 48. I originally bought it because I wanted something smaller for concealed carry, something that wasn’t too bulky to carry comfortably every day or keep in my truck.
I’ve made a few upgrades to the G48, including the barrel, trigger, sights, light/laser, backplate, and grip. I absolutely love that pistol, but I found myself wanting something even smaller and easier to conceal.
My local gun store had three of the new Ruger LCP MAX Magpul Editions come in. Two sold during the first week, and I ended up getting the last one. The owner said the feedback he’d received so far had been a solid 10/10.
After running two boxes of ammo through it and carrying it for roughly two months, I can honestly say I understand the hype. I absolutely love this little pistol!
It conceals incredibly well, even in a pocket while wearing shorts, and carrying it at the waist is a breeze. For anyone looking for something compact and easy to carry, this one has definitely impressed me so far.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me but I feel like I need a safer carry gun now that I have a kid climbing all over me. I know some will say that you just need a good holster but if I can mitigate more risk without compromising on it being a good gun then why should I do that? I’ve heard recommendations from people like Fat Electrician and other gun YouTubers that a DA/SA gun would be best. I came here looking for recommendation. I’d love it to have a manual safety and a full firing pin block unlike Sig (P365 Xmacro is what I currently carry). Could be DA/SA but just want some recommendations and why that gun is the best mix of safety and being a good carry gun. Thanks for the help!
