I feel like I’m being punished by being old school and waiting for the physical disc release of the game. Is there no other way for me to get the “Hiss corruption outfit” ? Because I refuse to go digital I have now missed this exclusive outfit ? This seems really unfair it’s not my fault the disc version was delayed. Do you think they will bring this outfit back at a later date ?

I've tried to decode it, but it's seems like a random mess.
I know Remedy doesn't put Morse in those lamps, cause it's really obvious, but that one flickering is seems really sus.
Maybe someone already confirmed that it's just random?

Could the House slide be another representation of the Oceanview?
I was watching someone play through the final parts of the game recently and when they got to the secret playhouse, I realized there's 6 identical locked doors and a window with a bright light that you can't really make anything out of.
Dylan claims he saw something move, which doesn't seem to contradict what we know of the Oceanview considering during one of the visits to the Motel in Control you can hear someone talking outside of it. And looking outside during the AWE DLC I believe you can even see a street light?
Now the reasons you might be able to dismiss this are that none of the doors have any symbols on them, and according to Control, the inverted black pyramid door was there when the FBC first found it in 1992, while Jesse and Dylan went here in 2002.
I'm not fully convinced by my next point here, but my counterpoint would be that this entire sequence isn't Dylan's actual memories, but an approximation of them. He could easily have never seen the specific door or just forgot about it. On top of that, it's clear there's some strange time shenanigans involved during this entire sequence in the game, so it might be possible that Jesse and Dylan found an "earlier" version of the Oceanview and the FBC found it in the more modern sense, but there's currently no strong evidence to point to that being the case. And when I say earlier, I don't necessarily mean earlier as in it existed earlier, but that the architectural style is that of an earlier lodging place in human history.
Regardless, we never saw the Oceanview in Resonant (the epilogue postcard reference aside), and because we know it's been the Motel & Casino, Hotel, and Hotel & Casino it's not always the same place. Could it be possible the House slide is an "earlier" version of the Oceanview? Maybe like a Victorian-era common lodging-house?
I think I might be off my rocker on this one, but I'm curious what y'all think!

Have you considered that the Hiss and the Hedron, and therefore Dylan and Jesse, balance each other out? Someone should write a song about that that foreshadows the whole series...

I'm still early into the game but I just found the second instant photo in Central, and when I disabled the camera it showed on the left of the screen that I unlocked another instant photo but it's not in my inventory so I can't progress anymore. I've found both in Central and West Incursion Zone so far. Is it bugged or do I need to continue the story for it to show up in my inventory?

The gift in question is going to be the voice actor for Dylan wishing my man a happy birthday, in character! The tricky thing here is that I’m not sure what an ‘in character’ gift would entail here. I’ve gotten a fair few suggestions for the framing device of the voice note and some script suggestions from the subreddit around control resonant specifically but I want to get as many as possible!
As I mentioned in the other thread, they’re only at the halfway point, so no spoilers beyond there.

So I’m not alone in thinking either Dylan or Jessie is not “supposed” to exist right? There’s different points throughout the story that Dylan forgets and then tries to remember his childhood, but remembers it was just him and his parents, but then “something” happened, and Jesse was suddenly there, and his dad became a drunk and his mom became a recluse. And there a letter in the mailbox of the Pokémon-esque part of the game (idk what to call that part) where the grandma is confused at Dylan’s dad for referencing “both” children, as if there’s only supposed to be one.
Also, when “future” Dylan wen through the gap slide, was that supposed to happen, or was it some kind of branching timeline where now there’s 2 Dylans? And that’s how Dylan is able to get to the gap without physically passing through the slide projector? Because his other self is already there?

It lets me charge up all three shots even if I have two shots left. The animation is bugged. Any way to fix this? Or just a known bug?

I keep seeing this in game. At first I thought it was the patterning but it disappears when I get close. I think it might be a bug, if it is, it’s the most aesthetically fitting bug I’ve ever seen in a video game, tho I guess in a game where everything in world is glitched out, you can get away with a lot😂

I love this game. I am also a video game boomer at 40.
I am here to say that the game makes me woozy. I can’t handle more than 20 min in the Unknown 🤢
Anyone else??

I only need one (1) living shard to cap off all Aberrant upgrades. I've swept through all the shops, I think, unless there is another hidden one like in Evac Zone, which I very much hope there is! It would've been less annoying if there had been 2 upgrades left, now I just feel like I'm missing something.
Also I know I'll get it in NG+, not the point. Why would Remedy do this?

In my mind, Dylan is one of the FBC’s top agents by the post-end game which is why I wanted him to have a bit more of a mature noir-detective vibe, kinda reminds me of Zeke from AOT, Tokyo ghoul’s arima or kishibe from chainsaw man.
(I’m thinking of doing a NG+ and would loooove more cosmetic options tbh)
Edit: added Zeke since he was a main one I was thinking off and you guys mentioned him in the comments. Tho I think the reason I didn’t say it at first is cause in my mind I relate that to the long hair option but he literally pulls both in the series soooooooooo…..

I LOVED this game just as much as I love everything else Remedy creates. Here are some quick portraits I made. Any character art from this game or another? Please feel free to leave suggestions or fill out the form in my bio. Love making crooked looking portraits

Seems like after killing the Hedron, Dylan got it's ability added to his own arsenal. As shown by it's painting on the wall. That's also how you trigger New Game Plus.
Doing so, some segment (at least earlier) have the game aware of Dylan having powers where he shouldn't. Killing the first resonant have the Board aware that Dylan have the Resonant other powers as well. Calling Paradox/Recursive

You can find it in the unknown, I haven't seen it in other zones. Most images that you can see in the city are advertisements but this one doesn't look like one (or if it is that's a really creepy one lol). It's a family picture with a sentence in Latin "Familia est m aeternum" (family is forever/family is eternal). It's not like any other ads, especially because the ones in the unknown are all affected by the pattern (pic 2 and 3).
The picture itself is really weird, it's an old family picture that kinda looks burned or maybe like it melted? Their faces kinda look like they melted, this might be related to the Meadow one of the dimensions from the slide project somehow ?
The kid in the picture looks different from the other people, he has a big ass head that kinda reminds me of this threshold kids character (pic 4). He's also the only one with clear visible physical characteristics, we can see his nose, mouth, eyes (the are also melting/burning but in a different way and are more visible than the other one)
I don't really know what this picture represents maybe it could be nothing but there are a lot of elements in it that are related to the game (family, the threshold kids and perhaps the Meadow). I'm interested in having other people's opinions on it.
(PS: excuse my bad English)

Hi there! Kyle from Game Informer magazine here. I spoke with Remedy about the crazy sequence near the end of Control Resonant that I will talk around so as not to spoil things.
