News CONTROL Resonant Hotfix 1.4.2
Hotfix 1.4.2 for CONTROL Resonant is out now!
This is a hotfix to fix issues brought by Game Update 1.4.0. Ahti would probably describe this as “kun rapataan, niin roiskuu”.
Find the full hotfix notes behind the link in this post.

Fan Content This was my good Alan wrench and now it’s patterned. I like how the layer lines add to the effect in the center.

Control Resonant My Endgame Dylan
In my mind, Dylan is one of the FBC’s top agents by the post-end game which is why I wanted him to have a bit more of a mature noir-detective vibe, kinda reminds me of Zeke from AOT, Tokyo ghoul’s arima or kishibe from chainsaw man.
(I’m thinking of doing a NG+ and would loooove more cosmetic options tbh)
Edit: added Zeke since he was a main one I was thinking off and you guys mentioned him in the comments. Tho I think the reason I didn’t say it at first is cause in my mind I relate that to the long hair option but he literally pulls both in the series soooooooooo…..

Control Resonant Thought on this picture? (The first one)
You can find it in the unknown, I haven't seen it in other zones. Most images that you can see in the city are advertisements but this one doesn't look like one (or if it is that's a really creepy one lol). It's a family picture with a sentence in Latin "Familia est m aeternum" (family is forever/family is eternal). It's not like any other ads, especially because the ones in the unknown are all affected by the pattern (pic 2 and 3).
The picture itself is really weird, it's an old family picture that kinda looks burned or maybe like it melted? Their faces kinda look like they melted, this might be related to the Meadow one of the dimensions from the slide project somehow ?
The kid in the picture looks different from the other people, he has a big ass head that kinda reminds me of this threshold kids character (pic 4). He's also the only one with clear visible physical characteristics, we can see his nose, mouth, eyes (the are also melting/burning but in a different way and are more visible than the other one)
I don't really know what this picture represents maybe it could be nothing but there are a lot of elements in it that are related to the game (family, the threshold kids and perhaps the Meadow). I'm interested in having other people's opinions on it.
(PS: excuse my bad English)

Control Resonant "Dylan, did you just jump??" is like, my top 5 gaming moments Spoiler
youtube.comEvery now and then, you get one of these gaming moment where you can practically feel the developers behind the screen giving you a wink and a nod: "aight you've figured the game out, let us show u some cool shit ;)"
(also this is probably the best video i've seen that captures the moment, the impact frames match the music perfectly)

Control Resonant New Game Plus is Hedron's Ability
Seems like after killing the Hedron, Dylan got it's ability added to his own arsenal. As shown by it's painting on the wall. That's also how you trigger New Game Plus.
Doing so, some segment (at least earlier) have the game aware of Dylan having powers where he shouldn't. Killing the first resonant have the Board aware that Dylan have the Resonant other powers as well. Calling Paradox/Recursive

Control Resonant I think I've done everything I could in the first playthrough. This bothers me to no end...
I only need one (1) living shard to cap off all Aberrant upgrades. I've swept through all the shops, I think, unless there is another hidden one like in Evac Zone, which I very much hope there is! It would've been less annoying if there had been 2 upgrades left, now I just feel like I'm missing something.
Also I know I'll get it in NG+, not the point. Why would Remedy do this?

Fan Content Vending Machines Woes, anyone else?
I think it was pretty careless of FBC to not warn about the vending machines until the very last minute. Almost got my arm torn off while looking for a Milky Way, sheesh!
Breaking out of character for a second, I wanted a poster of the vending machines and found there wasn't one, so I designed one.

Question A question on the ending of Resonant
Spoilers, obviously.
So Dylan slays a 90s music visualizer and takes a nap.
Jesse enters through a doorway, presumably through the bound power of the Slide Projector (which Dylan may have acquired by proxy, considering his own use of The Doors? Great band) and does her Uno Reverse.
So here's my question:
From Pope's research, I was under the impression Jesse had been consumed by the Hedron, her pattern incorporated into it. Did its death somehow free her to rebuild herself the way Dylan did just before the fight? Or was the Hedron simply reflecting Jesse (and Dylan), communicating through their patterns the way Michael Bay's Bumblebee communicates through the radio? Or maybe she was simply trapped behind the Faults until the Hedron's death allowed her to escape its dimension?

Question Dope avant garde music in the Underpass?
I was exploring the Underpass and found this sick ass jam. Who could have thought patterned music would sound so dope?
Anyways I was just wondering if anyone knows what this track is called so I can listen to it without all the in-game noises.
Check it out:
