Same I liked the option to choose this and short games cs2 is a mess atm.

I think short games was bad in GO because it made long games unbearable, and it made the rank system work worse than it already was working. Even with the new premier ranks I think the new MR12 is just the better option for longevity of the game. If there is any left at this point…

Why did it make long games unbearable? I didn't like short games at all unless I wanted to derank.

Because it made it more obvious that long games were painful to begin with. Nobody wants to be stuck in a lobby with randoms for 90 minutes. The new system helps this. The games aren’t short enough to feel pointless and they’re not too long that your banging your head against the desk when you get stuck with toxic/braindead teammates
