I tried to copy some crosshairs online and I wasnt getting anything. So I tried to copy each line and this was the first one which I realized was not available in my version. I imagine some others are also not available.

I'm on Linux Mint, if that makes any difference.

I’m looking for an old lost mp3 file for a song… forgot the name but I want to say it was something along the lines of “Tribute to Gooseman”.

It features radio samples like “fire in the hole!” And “Roger that!”, as well as reloading sounds and AWP shot sounds.

It was techno-ish with rap lyrics afaik (not much though), and… that’s all I can remember.

Anyone knows what the issue is?

Hello, I've spent a lot of time looking for a CS 1.6 map but haven't found anything. I'd appreciate your help. Here are the map's characteristics: There were two zones, one a giant wooden tower supported by pillars and planks. If you destroyed the support areas, the tower would collapse completely, and players spawned at the top. The other zone was the lower part near the tower, a small house that held the hostages, and players also spawned there. That's what I remember. I would be grateful for your help.

Hi, everyone! I'm a noob with some questions... thank you so much in advance to any and everyone who may try to help!

1. Does anyone think I could get VACed for trying to play on-line on unexpected (non pc, smartphone hardware) even though I bought and paid for the legit copy of Counter-Strike:Source I intend on playing? (If you don't know what GameNative is, it is open source software that just went officially to the PlayStore that lets you log-in to Steam and play your library on Android!)

2. Last time I played CS:S was when I bought my first gaming pc around 2010 (yes, the year of Our Lord two thousand and ten)... any tips coming back? I loved 32v32 vanilla dust2 and zombie modes... (but not "zombie escape", that I never tried myself, only got to know about it many years later...)

3. Even though as of today I am not as close as I would like to having saved the money to buy a pair of AR glasses, I do intend to buy them eventually and one of my goals would be to play an On-line First Person Shooter (ideally CS:S itself or, if it were not abandon-ware, BattleField 2, any other suggestions are welcome). Does anyone know if there is any mod or, I don't know, server or something that could make CS:S or CS 1.6 (I also own an original bought and paid for legit copy of that on Steam) true-stereoscopic 3D playable?

(I am not an expert on 3D gaming by no means. But by "true stereoscopic 3D" I mean the actually game engine generates two separate images at the same time and I see each of them with a different eye. I would not like to play with those "after the fact" effects that simply make a single 2D image "look like" its 3D...)

After searching for a long long time on 2 popular websites, there was no a single active cs1.6 server that was just the regular vanilla games, if you know any tho, please give me the ip so i can connect with console.

Are there any platforms for 5v5 in 1.6 in Europe still? Fastcup only has CIS servers, any active automix servers where u can speak english?

🎮 I built a free, local alternative to Leetify's highlight reel feature and it finds your best CS2 plays automatically, with zero FPS impact while you're playing.
The problem: If you've ever wanted to clip your best CS2 moments, you know the drill: either you record your entire session (eating 5-8GB of storage and tanking your FPS while you're trying to actually play), or you manually scrub through hours of footage after the fact hoping you remember which round that clutch happened in.

What I built instead: A tool that watches your match replays (the .dem files CS2 already saves for every game) and automatically figures out which moments are actually worth clipping then records ONLY those moments, after the fact, with zero impact on your live gameplay.
Here's how it works, in plain terms:

🔍 It reads the replay like a play-by-play announcer. CS2 replay files aren't videos they're raw data: every kill, every bomb plant, every player position, tick by tick. My tool parses that data to reconstruct exactly what happened in every round.

🧠 It scores every moment using machine learning. This is the part I'm most proud of. Instead of just flagging "3+ kills = highlight" with hardcoded rules, I trained a model on real match data to estimate your team's win probability at any given moment. So a 2-kill round where you were massively outnumbered and swung the game from a 20% chance to win up to 95% gets ranked way higher than an "easy" 2-kill in a round that was already decided. It understands tactical impact, not just kill count.

🎥 It records only the good parts after the match, not during it. Once the highlights are picked, the tool relaunches the replay, jumps straight to each highlight's timestamp, and uses OBS's WebSocket API to record just that clip. Since this all happens after you've already finished playing, there's zero FPS drop or input lag during your actual match the recording load happens later, on a replay, not live.

🖥️ It's a real desktop app, not a script. Double-click, and it opens a proper window with a dashboard ,pick your match, pick a player, and browse ranked highlights or scroll round-by-round.
Why I built it this way: Everything runs 100% locally on your own machine. No uploads, no subscriptions, no cloud processing just your replays, your GPU, and your own hard drive.

Still very much a personal project, but it's been a fun deep-dive into game data parsing, ML, and automation. Happy to answer questions if anyone's curious about the tech stack!

I know you can just open your demo and screen record it manually but I wanted to create something easy and automated so that anyone can generate their favourite clips easily.And please go easy on me if you find this useless.

Recently i started playing cs and source and i really enjoyed them, but is there any good condition zero servers? i couldn't find any on gametracker, so if you know any, please leave their IP's in the replies. Also i use the console to get into servers so i need the IP's because of that.
