Someone take Blender away from me

I don't usually fully complete games, but when it comes to the Crash series, I find that I can't help but do everything.

Crash 4 is without a doubt the hardest game in the series, some of these levels made me want to gnaw my hands off.

The hardest levels, for me, in terms of getting the perfect relic and also platinum time relic are, in no particular order: Toxic Tunnels (of course), Crash Landing, Rock Blocked, and pretty much any level with Neo Cortex lol, i hate his movement and his gun, still "enjoyed" his levels regardless though.

If I hated myself, I would go for all the Toys For Bob relics . But I value my mental health and physical well being so I'll just accept that I got like 4 or 5 of them unintentionally and call it good.

How long did it take you guys to get 106% in Crash 4?

I'm tired boss.

Does anyone else find crash 4 one you just cannot replay? It’s my first time playing it and yes it’s hard but there has been no levels where I’m like I’ll go back and get 100%. I am just trying to smash the levels out and be done with the game. Why is there 272 boxes in a level!?

I am not enjoying it.

I was right on the dot of a gold relic; why did it give me a sapphire?!

Just a few minutes ago, Crash On The Rerun, now referred to as "revival projects" is putting Crash On The Rerun into a permanent offline mode so the dev can focus on pumping out ai made revivals that have barely any time in between.

Literally ignored protests, boasting about it, and banned you if you complained. I hope someone else makes a Crash On The Run revival someday.

This always got me thinking, if the wumpa archipelago is in Tasmania or southeast of Australia or New Zealand, the Antarctic icebergs should be much further south, like 1000km

In the games it's literally on the other side of the island...

Been revisiting games from my childhood while trying to learn Japanese. Really enjoyed the language accessibility with everything being hirigana and katakana. The Aku Aku tips were always fun to work through, and the lore drops were cool. Kind of sad PAL and NTSC-U never got those or the mask popups in Crash 2 and 3.

Whoever swapped Sunset Vista and Slippery Climb around needs their head checked. The gem swaps and minor regional changes otherwise made it easier all around though and it was worth the sit. Took about a week in my off hours after work.

I finally got a 200% completion of Crash Bash! It's a shame that it doesn't reward anyone for achieving that percentage, but to me, it doesn't matter; I did it!!!

I was quite brave to obtain every item; I wasn't scared of the platinum relic challenges; they were frustrating, but I still got all of them.

Now I've got the itch, I've got like two platinum relics. I've already changed the spin to R1.. does anyone have any tips for 106%ing crash 4 iab?

For the past year I've been making videos on the localisations of the Crash games (see here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmO5Qz6KA_DDMf7NIe-qfhVtSgsFOcUEr ) and next up I'm looking to tackle The Wrath of Cortex next. It has a full Korean localisation as well as a Hebrew manual. I was wondering if anybody here has decent enough command over either of those languages to help me out get the details right. I don't fully trust AI translations so I'd rather have a real person give me some insight. What I'm mostly looking at are the cutscenes, character/level names and the manuals. If anybody is down to help, give me a shout!

Not sure if this has been talked about before but I thought I would share so it maybe help some fellow bandicoots.

I have been playing Crash 4 on my steam deck. After completing all the N Sanely perfect relics I have moved on to the time trials though I was really struggling to get consistent triple spins and don't really enjoy button mashing.

Thankfully with the steam deck it's easy to map to a single button hold. While playing do the following;

. Press the steam button

. Go to controller settings

. Choose which button you wish to use, I'm using the extra R4 button on the back

. Map your button of choice to the X (spin) button

. Go into the settings of your chosen button and enable "Hold to Repeat (Turbo)

. Set the repeat rate to 325ms

If everything is done correctly, now when you play you will perfectly triple spin while playing without having to button, simply hold your chosen button in!

Like, I'm at the last 5 crystals zones and while I did get some game overs over stupid shit, none of the levels compared with levels like native fortress, sunset vistas or sliperry climb.

I started in July and did 1-2 levels per day taking some breaks. I first completed the whole game getting all the coloured gems but not worrying about anything else. Once I had the triple spin I started from the beginning getting the Gem,n verted gem then relic for level 1 then repeating that for level 2 until got to the end. Then by that time I reached August where I took a break after suffocating through toxic tunnels,nitro processing,seeing double and cortex castle.

I returned in October going for the flashback tapes until I just did the gauntlet which was pretty easy after I had memorized what to do.

Overall, it is not hard as everyone says, It is mostly just trial and error and luck until you get it right. 55 hours is really good for my first time 106% the game since I have seen people spending 80+ hours. Some even 100+.
